haven't expressed my dislike for netflix in a while. stupid dark ass scenes i can barely see even with 100% brightness and stupidly low volume except when someone is screaming or moaning, of course.

using the sloth was an interesting way to give more insight into melon. felt forced, tbh. like that trope where the villain reveals his whole plan to the hero. i find melon to be an interesting fella, feels like it's been a while since i enjoyed such a cruel villain.

good thing sagwan taught legoshi how to speak to the undersea creatures. gotta say i was more surprised to see melon as a college lecturer than i was to see legoshi shot once again; man this guy gets around lol.

the cliffhanger eventhough i already knew what was going to happen i kept myself hypped about it. Legoshi is an incredible character that has evolved in every single season and i just love all the themes that these anime can touch. maybe can have development issues in the plot but its pretty good

That cliffhanger though, Melon as a villain is kinda growing on me. In the sense that he really is detestable and I can't wait for him to die or lose lol.

@aflyingjackie lockpicking is a serious crime in Japan; realistic depiction of a crime would bump the rating of the show from 15+ to 18+ in Japan. Kind of ridiculous, right?

Is it just me or did this season look a bit cheap art-wise? I feel like they used bolder contrasts and more creative angles in the previous seasons. Also, why make some characters 2D? At fist, I assumed it was to save costs on characters that do not reappear and that have difficult features. Then that chipmunk doctor was on multiple episodes and always in 2D. Idk weird choice but I liked this season anyhow.

Melon has a thing for shooting Legosi. Quite the cliffhanger ending to this cour.

Awesome watch again, the world and characters are just way too immersive. And while it's nice to be able to binge it immediately, it sucks that it's already over so fast.

9/10 Beastars is one of the few anime that's still great, despite all the cut chapters/changes from the manga(I was bummed out about them cutting Seven's most of Seven's scenes)

I like this anime, my favorite season so far is S2, but there is something about this anime that makes me eye roll, it has happened in every season so far:

1 - Why is that horse dude going Rambo in solo missions? isn't he supposed to be an important guy? he's a Beastars, after all, so he's high in the hierarchy. Stop doing those dumb solo missions and bring some cops with you.

2 - How on earth is that crazy as fuck mafia boss failing so hard at killing? he could have killed the horse guy easily and failed, and is failing at killing Legoshi, twice now, I mean I get it, they have plot armor, but still...

3 - Why is Legoshi so fucking dumb? why do you even want to talk with the crazy as fuck mafia boss? are you really trying to connect with the mother fucker that tried to kill you? I can let this slide in animes like Naruto because they have superpowers and shit, so it's different there, but here it looks dumb.

4 - I was getting some gay vibes shit from this season.

5 - Why do you name this "Final Season" when it's not even a Final Season? why don't you just call it season 3? bunch of fucking morons, it's the same shit as Attack of Titan with those stupid as fuck season names.

6 - That stupid fatass seal that gets naked is a fucking trash character, and I hated every second of it, and sadly he got way too much screen time for my taste.

7 - Legoshi, stop being fucking stupid...

I could add more things if I rewatch this season, but I won't do it.

Now for the good things about it, the best addition in this season is the new character "Seven", I loved her and wanted to see more of her and how the story develops that character, but unfortunately, she disappeared in the beginning and was never seen again, what a waste of an interesting character, instead, I get more screen time from that dumb fatass seal which I fucking hated, that guy sucks and says the same shit with his "sea creatures will eat or be eaten, it's the way of life..." or whatever the fuck he was going on around with his dumb, silly ass monologue, I wasn't even paying attention when that dumb mofo appeared on the screen, dear god, fuck that character.

I also liked Deshico, what a crafty little fella he was.

And Greisha... well, meh, I don't really like him that much but I don't hate him either, he's just boring.

I just finished watching Episode 12, and I was absolutely freaking out because I was wondering how on EARTH they could possibly end this story. When Legoshi was on the edge of that cliff, I thought, "Okay... He either dies a horrible death, and this anime just ends in the most WTF fashion, OR Melon gets shot or something from behind, and they wrap up the story right there without really going into any more detail with Legoshi's relationship with Haru or any other plot points." There were only 4 minutes left, and I HONESTLY thought this entire series was about to be ruined. When the episode finally ended, my jaw was literally on the FLOOR! I was speechless. I couldn't believe what I just witnessed. I thought to myself that they either rushed the ending because of budget, or maybe they'll go the AOT route and release "Final Season Part 2, 3, 4..." I hopped onto MAL right away and was severely disappointed to see that there is no upcoming season. As I was ready to hit "Complete" on the entry and struggle with my final rating, I only then realized... IT'S....ONGOING!? BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!

I feel so silly, I have no words. This was an extremely funny situation, and I hope my experience gave someone a smile. Loving the show so far and excited to see how it actually ends, haha.

@AshanDev26 hhhhh funny reaction. anw, this is definitely not the end of BEASTARS, given that almost 50 chapters from the manga are not adapted yet. so yes, stay tuned for the second part (more likely to be the last part). also, i believe they are going to announce the date of the release of the second part when the firs part finishes airing in Japan because they are still airing it on tv (they are at episode 8, it's just Netflix that released the whole part at once).

I'm not at all worried about Legoshi, obviously he won't die, he just have to say pera-pera-pera or something in marine language, and his escape will probably be epic. But the ending on Melon being a professor in Haru's school, woah, that's some turn of events I didn't expect. Overall, it was a nice season, although not as great as the previous ones.

On the other note, Louis' father questioning him if he's interested in women at all... hmm, hmmm.

I knew Legoshi would end up in the water so he can call for help like the sea otter taught him. Melo is still a mystery! Melon hasn't been around long but he's easily one of the best characters in the series and the definite highlight of the season.

I want to see more development with Louis and Wolf girl, but it looks like he is moving into the Beastar conversation.

8/10. Would be higher if Melon was introduced sooner.

Kinda annoying Legosi still wainting to befriend a serial killer despite everything what Melon did. At least Melon teach him a lesson again lol.

Louis exposing Kines was my favourite part of the episode. Seriously, when he's involded in the plot, this series is better. Also if the horse didn't decide to involve Legoshi into the plot, he won't be much relevant in this season now I think about.

This series is still meh as previous seasons but the animation improved. 6/10 for the Anime.
