| Well no way they'd have committed the double suicide and called it a day right? There is still much to cover after all lol. So yeah, for the time being sensei could try to become as less lively as someone could xD Fairy stuff means there is one more member added to the bunch, though yeah, if that means we could see fairy queen often then everything works( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) An open ending, which does tell the journey continues, though if it actually will.. not sure but I'd want to. As most of the seasonal isekai are as bland and as unimpressive as they come, so no harm in wanting more of something which was actually pretty decent. |
| Honestly, this anime turned out to be way better than I expected going into it. Sensei finally got to meet Sacchan again who turns out to be one of the fallen other wolders and Nir is apparently the son of the hero?! I really hope this gets a second season cuz it really deserves it imo, it's not your typical isekai trash lol Also poor Solulu, she instantly got put to work by Sensei lmao xD |

| Great episode, but something tells me this doesn't have a high chance of getting a 2nd season, I'll hold out for a few months for any rumblings, and if not then I'll just pursuit the source material. |

| Why did I even watch this entire thing I wonder? It was rather unique and interesting for the first few episodes but it got boring pretty fast. I guess, I watched it mainly cuz the MC was voiced by Kamiya Hiroshi and also, I was kinda curious about Sacchan. But the final reunion scene with her was quite disappointing to say the least. I'd say this anime is a failure as an isekai show, so the title "Isekai Shikkaku" might be appropriate not only to the good-for-nothing heroes, but also to the anime as a whole :P |

| Sacchan is an enemy, a twist but probably a plothole. It's just too convenient. I don't know if this will have a season 2 but they set it up for one. |

| Story was surprisingly decent after the first few episodes despite retaining a little bit of ecchi-ness at times. |
| Getting your lovers suicide rejected because you're too hopeful. What an interesting life Sensei leads! This ending has definitely left me wanting more of this tale. Even if just to see Sensei mess up more things with his unconventional problem solving. I'm hoping for a season 2 announcement asap! |

| Hm... started well.. it was good and enjoyable up until the end of Tama's arc, but then became kinda... boring. The 2nd half felt more like filler and semi-filler episodes. It had its up though with a few comedy scenes. Art and animation also got visibly worse in the 2nd half, although they tried to recover in this last episode. I torn between 6 and 7. Nice 1st half. Flashbacks and specially lizard/dwarves conflict didn't interest me much in the 2nd half so enjoyment decrease considerably. Last episode tried to recover specially with the fairy Queen. |

Not the best of episodes, but at least we got to continue the journey ;] Would give it a 10/10 but I think I save it for second season, because I didn't like it that Sensei still wanted to commit double suicide with her. Did she want to do it also if she can't be with him anymore, but the says he is the only one for her? :D :D :D Typical women :D |

| Another incredible season wraps up just as it was reaching new heights! That Sacchan twist left me reeling—how can they end it like this? 😭 We need a Season 2! I’m not sure how the sales will turn out, but story-wise, this was easily the best fantasy show of the season (not counting ongoing series like Yatagarasu). The twists, character moments, and the finale all came together brilliantly. The Fallen Angel of Misery fight was epic, but I’m shocked to see Near potentially becoming the next hero. Him getting the hero’s sword feels like a full-circle moment, reminiscent of Stark in "Frieren." I’m curious about Sacchan—did she truly change, or is it Dazai who’s evolved into a better person who values life over death? Just one look at him showed her he’s no longer the man she once knew, and that’s definitely for the better! It’s a clever twist to have her as one of the main antagonists, something I never saw coming. And seriously, Dazai dropping pills between the Fairy Queen’s... well, you know—what a ridiculous scene! Oberis didn’t seem to mind, though; it’s refreshing to see a guy so unconcerned with decorum. I’m intrigued by her comment about Dazai and Sacchan reuniting at the end of their journey. Will they achieve that perfect death together, or will Dazai return home with her, gaining a newfound appreciation for life? Regardless, I’ll be diving into the manga to see where this goes. This series has been a blast, and I love how it flips the usual isekai formula on its head. Can’t wait to see what sensei has in store for Solulu! Score 8/10 Finished on 28th October 2024 at 11:10 Hrs IST. |
| Yeah, it s not that I did not expect the second season coming, but well, the only thing that made it worth watching for me was Kamiya Hiroshi's creation and Osamu Dazai name included. And the title. Otherwise it was just another isekai. |

| Didn't care much for Sacchan. She refuse to stay with Sensei, then blame him saying he is the one that changed. Seemed like a lame excuse when she just sat on her ass in the castle and he was searching for her all over the world. Was a fun show overall. Hoping for continuation. |

| meh show, wasnt as fun/ny as many others but does shine some times. the ending was the most memorable as it tried to give a nice storyteller vibe, except the part about sensei advancing the plot to the spirit queen for no reason nice setup for a 2nd season, but i dont think this cliffhanger holds well on its own |

| Needs a Season 2 badly. I mean I need a season 2... badly. I enjoyed it for what it is and what it does do it does really well. BTW, Love After World Domination was also as massively underrated as this show. Folks who enjoy light hearted comedies should watch that one too. |

| @LordKirkis Cant name one that closely comapres, be even though there have been a couple MC wiith that morose attitude over the years ( now including sensei from isekai shikkaku) such as the MC in Saiyonara Zotsuba Sensei, nothing springs to mind from the isekai/fantasy/adventure/rpg genres off the top of my head. Plenty of good stuff out there though. Keep watching the Kono Suba shows, they are funny, I see you already completed the first 2. THen if you want somehting slightly grim, but adventurish, Try Goblin Slayer ( season 1 , season 2 and the movies were meh, imo). BE WELL ^<^ |

| I knew that every plot thread left couldn't be resolved in a single episode. Season 2? At least Sensei and Sacchan reunited. Though from the fact that Sacchan was going to commit suicide with Sensei it's uncharacteristic of her to be prideful. |
