| Shinpei smiling at rice-pregnant Ushio... not a fetish I expected from the man. Slower, creepier episode. These shadow babies with half their heads removed were stomach-churning, I'm impressed. |
| It just gets more scary lol The island has more stuff going on than meets the eye. No tourist points from me for odd attractions. Nice group dynamics with those three together. The end sequence looked quite hopeless, outnumbered by failed experiments, maybe someone can help. |

| Good episode and as someone else mentioned, this had a great eerie atmosphere. Many questions arise such as why are there so many "baby" shadows, who or what created them? How will the gang get out of this?? Stay tuned to the next exciting episode of SR! (not DBZ) 😛 |
| this episode was so intense! it also flowed nicely and the interactions between ushio sou and shinpei were entertaining to watch and they work so good as a team the cave is one creepy place and i like that shinpei is using his phone to gather info we don’t really see that much in other anime also i love when he activated his objective view and fired that shot, he looked badass |

| Things getting pretty sticky with these creepy shadows. the horror is getting interesting and being in such a closed space only gives it more suspense. |
| Straight into the OP this time. Oh my stars, what are we in for? That is the worst statue I've ever seen in my entire life. I hate it. Even Shadow Ushio gets hungry, so I presume that these "perfect copies" have biological functions? What happens if one gets pregnant? Is the child a human or a shadow or a mix? Would that be a feasible backup plan to replacing humanity in lieu of the festival sacrifice? These semi-headless baby Shadows remind me of the Shadows from Persona games. Though, these seem a bit creepier. |

| Yea holy fuck what the heck with those statue? Then baby shadow. Into the darkness is really a nice name to these little exploration time. Still lot more mystery and the tension just can't be left with nothing. So I'll just be done with my comment just like this and move on to another episode already... |

| That abandoned house is sure mysterious, it looks like his friend's father is related to the shadows and aware of that situation... anyway we're learning more about the shadow powers and how the original needs to be destroyed before using the copy, these tiny shadows attack is not reassuring at all though. |

| Man from the ep where shadow Ushio was introduced this anime is going downhill... like I preferred it when was a murder mystery but now that it's gone to fantasy it's just not as good. Also, I kinda dislike that there are suddenly new "powers"... seemingly made just for the sake of the story i.e. Ushio can sense shadows now, I guess we still don't know how exactly this works but from this ep alone it can be said, that it is not a power that can be trusted, yet they trust it with no questions asked lol... |

| Very tensed and creepy episode, also the first time, Shinpei was able to kill a shadow without Hizuru/Nagumo and Nezu although I guess Ushio's shadow did kill one previously. |

| The atmosphere of this show was quite different, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Also the protagonist doesn't loop as often as I thought he would. |
