| I'm really only looking forward to Luffy's interaction with Yamato and with Yamato telling her backstory and relationship with Ace, aside from the brief scuffle Luffy had with Yamato this ep, there's nothing to note about, except... I see that Zoro's skill has improved yet again... He no longer requires the use of his 3 katanas when even his 'fourth' katana is sufficient to defeat all those overly-confident goons. As a gesture of absolute dominance, Zoro jizzed on them all as well, lmao. |

| Again, a slower episode. The ending part with Luffy and Yamato was the saving grace here along with some Zoro scenes, got a bit hyped when I saw Ace, seems like he and Yamato met sometime in the past, looking forward to seeing that! Orochi being a di*k as usual, hanging Momo infront of everyone like that. Also looks like we're gonna see Yamato's face reveal in the next episode! |

| The episode felt right, not as slow as others. Chopper and Usopp saved by the bell, I honestly didn’t find an escape for them. Somehow, I think Robin is gonna save Momo, hope he doesn’t get more beaten. Ace wanting to kill Kaido, wtf. How Perospero devil fruit works in the sea? |

| How nice of Chopper and Usopp to get out of the tank so Big Mom could use her Soul Soul fruit on them. Luffy feeling super off character here trying to fight for no damn reason and getting made to look like a pushover by Yamato no less as he takes everything bar gear 4th as if it was nothing... |

| Oh boy... looks like Momo is in trouble and Chopper and Usopp nearly escaped death. Yamato and Luffy are fighting and looks like Yamato knows Ace from his reaction to the Red Hawk. Can't wait to see what's waiting for next week. And, yes, I caught up, to say the least after rewatching this show 5 times (till ep. 700), but it's my first time watching after 700. LOL. So yes, I caught up. Off to the manga. |

| Clearly Kaido's "son" isn't actually his son but his daughter. Especially with the little bit we saw of Ace and Yamato fighting AND the preview of her ripping her sleeve. She's gotta be a fan of Oden right ... with her clothes like that, that's the only reason right now that I can see why she'd want to help the Straw Hats. |

| I really don't like the way Luffy handles the situation... I understand he is in a hurry and Yamato just said they are Kaido's son, but... they also have told they have something important to tell, so, like, maybe listen first instead of getting into a fight right away? It's not like the fight doesn't take any time, either (unless Luffy of course thought he'd able to win instantly, but he already had seen what Yamato is capable of...) Anyway, it really shows Luffy from a bad perspective. And I actually think the former wasn't as much an intention of the authors as it was a plot course to just include the fight between Luffy and Yamato for the sake of the fight itself, not dictated by the plot necessity but only because the authors probably thought such a fight is needed because it would look cool or smth |

| Well there's a shocker at the end. And here I thought Ace just drifted into Wano and chilled with Otama. I'm also a bit taken aback by Kaido's response to Orochi's theatrics. I've sensed it for a while, but Kaido doesn't seem to be sadistic like Orochi. Instead, his mantra seems to be more of survival of the fittest, which would thematically ring true for the king of the beasts. |
