| This ep was beautiful, seeing the connection with the Nomad history and Mac/Joe was really emotional, like you can interpretate the things that Nomad said in so many ways, its really poetic. |
| Mac episode bois and girls, and wow what a nice backstory, and the ED song backing it up as it goes. I'm glad that they made a cameo of the theme song artist, Mabanua in the scene, that's atleast an appreciation for his contributions to the music of this wonderful anime. And also, I knew that Mac is an immigrant himself, but that's such a trivial stuff (lol). At this point, there's no going back, it's a do or (hopefully not) die match, Mac Rosario vs Geared Joe! Looks like Sakuma has been faced by his assistant, or Yukiko, or Mikio...yeah I want to see him punished for his actions. And the fight is finally going to commence, as the last episode draws near to conclude this season. |

| The raw emotions this anime brings forth are heavy. Loved the humming bird Story, the flashback montage and the whole build up to this match. The flags were raised several times, maybe too often. Makes me think there could be a happy ending. Well, I'm excited to find out. |

| Mac is back on his own feet, he regained his senses. And it's time for the last fight. It will probably be his last fight. And the same goes for Joe. We will finally see him in action. Hopefully he doesn't die from Mac's punches xD The hummingbird story is so interesting and amazing. |

| It's a fucking huge credit to the writers and the director that they can reduce the fights so much this season relative to the first (the most prominent part of the first season's entertainment value)—especially the fights involving the protag—and still have this season be so much better, and such a step up, from the already great first. Something that is very difficult thing to do to begin with—to justify a sequel to something without any loose ends, or any immediately visible need for one... Like holy shit they knocked this out of the park in so many ways! I'm in love with the characters, the writing, the art, the music, the animation—and all more so than that of the first. And to read they approached this project with no plans???????? | Another perfect episode. That soundtrack is always on point, big up cabana. Also, it was very cool to see that they gave mabanua the recognition he deserves by animating him as the guy that played the ending song as an insert one |
| Loved how Joe prayed like Chief used to on his wife/son grave. Hummingbird hopefully will show both Joe & Mac the way back home. |
| Shed a tear there seeing the full backstory of Mac and him reuniting with his wife and son. The dancing bastard Sakuma really deserves a sucker punch to the face. |

| Damn bro this was just a beautiful episode. I feel bad for Mac now that they have completely narrated his life story. Dude was living such a good life. Now I can't even take sides and root for someone in particular. Both Joe and Mac deserve the win. Both bounced back from the lowest point in their life. I really can't decide who should really win. And the hummingbird & nomad story narration was plain amazing. Joe got his new gear which is Chief's legacy too. The final match between Mac and Joe is underway. |
