| Probably one of my favourite DBS episodes so far. They finally stopped playing around and got somewhat serious. Loved Goku's comeback power-up at the end. drgfl11 said: That shot was literally the only really bad shot this episode. _Art-wise, the rest of the episode was pretty good in most scenes.Even on the screenshot that Stark700 posted you can see that the art is still, more or less, garbage. |

| First "serious" episode because Beerus became more dangerous, so Son Goku nearly lost two times. But it seems that Beerus wanted to push Son Soku to his limits. |

| The animation on this episode was certainly better, but still... there's not even one drop of blood or tension after all that. Compared to Z this is just a joke... |
| Beerus just pretending all those attacks hurt him... shiiiiiiiet. Goku still holding back and also getting stronger as time goes by. I'm guessing the end result will still be a 6 for SSG Goku and 10 for Beerus though in terms of power. |
| So if we take a look at the situation in the beginning of the episode and compare it with the ending of this episode, what changed? They're in space now. That's it. Everything else remains the same. Apparently both haven't gotten all out yet and once again Beerus says "Now it's getting serious"... AGAIN! |
| The animation and battle sequence looked great this episode! However, I'm a bit surprised how this fights isn't over yet.... I thought it was going to be 12 episodes of Battle of Gods and then 12 episodes of Resurrection 'F'? Does that mean the second cour is going to be shorter than the first one now? |

| wow they're really stretching out this fight lmao... I laughed at Goku getting rekt by Beerus tho and the animation wasn't too bad. I just watched the English version and Sean did a pretty nice job doing that underwater monologue |
| Great episode, I caught me getting emotional when Beerus kept destroying Goku. Lol I want Goku to destroy Beerus. I liked the fight much better in the movie, but I'm enjoying it here also. Can't wait for Goku to hopefully have a great showing next week. |
| [English Dub] 5.5/10 ... OK Episode. ... Anyone else bothered by the dark edges and the inconsistent design/art?... As for the Fight ... really wasn't a fan of it. Awkward Ugly Fight. Most of the fights kinda are sometimes so far. I also don't really like the comedic side- play-fighting, biting and smacking each other while having a fight that determines the destruction of Earth. Wtf. ... I know it's Goku but fuck. ... It's a little ridiculous in Dragon Ball Super. Sheesh. But then finally it got serious for a second. But it wasn't enough to kill how bad the episode was overall. ... So a Super Saiyan God can heal from deep wounds. |
