| i loved this episode because i was terrified of makima. during the train scene in kyoto, i felt so uneasy and it only got worse throughout the episode. she genuinely makes me feel scared and im so excited to see more |

| Makima supremacy! Simp for Makima! Kobeni showed off her skills. CSM is the perfect anime if you like girls in suits. I completely forgot how uncanny and creepy this show can be. |

Jasev said: how is makima not dead why is kobeni suddenly a badass how will denji be resurrected what is happening 5/5 did you notice the crows in every makima scene? crows in japanese folklore are related many things but one of those things are illusions (remember the crows from itachi's powers) also she makes the fingers like a photographer, someone who is behind the scenes...she problaby is like someone who can alter things/create illusions and so forth; her power must be related to those things, taking a one moment picture and "editing", plus the crows(she might have contract related to em idk just guessing here), so i belive she can bend one instant of reality as she can bend other inmates like they are a dough of meat. also there is that random guy with glasses asking if makima knew it beforehand which means she was predicting something i dont think she ressurected but mainly that she wasnt hit by the bullet as their thought she was. makima my favorite character so far, she giving satoru gojo vibes, but seems fair. |

| TEMPLE... RAVENS!! OST... The tension, hand motions, and violence create something truly awe-inspiring and terrifying. I like the anime that focuses on little details in the manga. makes it eye-opening even for manga readers. |
| I give this ep a 5/5 mainly because of Kobeni's performance in this ep. It's not like I'm a fan of her. But we need to let characters with flaws exist. And I honestly don't think she deserves so much hatred. You can think she's annoying for what she did in the previous episodes. But I don't think lots of ppl would do any better than her if they were in her shoes. They may not say they want to sacrifice others for their own lives, but they probably think that way deep inside. That's humanity during the crisis. Besides, it's not like she wanted to have this dangerous job and she knew that she's not cut out for it, at least on a mind level. She's just forced to make money. Based on what she talked about her family, she's never been loved, not even by her family. And once she's protected, she realized the meaning of care & the weight of life. Then she atoned for what she did by protecting Denji this time. I like the characters that make mistakes. If they can have some character developments because of that, that's even better. We should be more open-minded about the characters who are not our typical positive figures. |

| Beautiful episode. The flow was incredible. Peak anime moment of the year right here. Love getting these hits of the epic manga back, this is the best. Usually the manga would be too reminiscent, like a book. But this is giving back great highlights. Wonderful. Makima is Queen Bee. (:< >:D The entertainment factor here, I can't believe people think such a well animated series isn't well directed or the style is wrong. Compared to what? '97 Berserk? Late 90's Eva? This series looks like all the current Eva movies and it's incredible. I mean, people will come up with their own reasons for sure. Technologically for the current era though, this is highly enjoyable. Just letting it all in, it's a festival of an anime. Even if this isn't somehow perfect...which, compared to what? I just think this is a great example of what can be done. I gloss over details, I'm just having a ball. |
| It will be nothing new to say that this episode looked spectacular, since CSM anime is of really high quality in general, but damn! Scene with Makima performing "the hand thing spell" looked simply fantastic. |

| This is probably my least favorite episode so far, action flow is very awkward. The use of the 3rd ED during the beginning of the fight was hype though. |

| Ok, so I swear I've seen that whole psychic head crush thing in another anime before, but I can't remember where. Feels like it came from something that I didn't watch fully, but just that specific clip. Does anyone know which anime I'm probably thinking of, which one this could be seen as making a reference to with the head crushing? |

Propably the Junji Ito short story smashed ? https://youtu.be/-b-2vLuZS44?t=64 If you care to get into Junji Itos work, do yourself the favor and read the manga. His work has not been adequately adapted thus far. Hmm, doesn't look like the same art style I remember. It's definitely older than the Junji Ito anime, but probably only as far back as the early-to-mid 2000s at most. I appreciate the help, though! |
