| Now that I'm rewatching the dvds without delay in between, I can easily see the increased production budget for season 2 of K-On. Still need to see the movie, which I imagine will look and sound even better! |

| Really a great start, already forgot how much fun this show is. This episode did also some subtile foreshadowing about what may come at the end, dunno if I'm ready for that. |

| It was a funny start seeing Yui mistaken herself for being late at the opening ceremony for her high school. It must've been hard for her to choose a club especially if she haven't discovered her talents or hobbies. The first meeting of those four in the teacher's room was hilarious as Yui seemed to be quite clumsy. Also glad that Tsumugi joined the light music club even if her first choice was the choir club. Also, didn't expect that Yui would say that their performance wasn't nice. Wow quite the opposite. Although I'm glad that she's indeed gonna join the club. No more worries for the light music club to be disbanded. Looking forward how Yui's going to be a good guitarist.  |

| The thing that catches your eye the most is the very high quality of the designs, especially in the details; the characters almost don't look like they were before. The backgrounds instead remain unchanged in their quality. I don't like the opening and the ending, the ones in the first series were better. Very nice and very funny storytelling in certain situations. |

| oh hell yeh, who needs a significant other when you have K-On season 2 with higher quality visuals/animation, new op and ed theme with the same gang and a whopping 26 episodes of complete moe and cuteness. honestly though so happy this anime got the recognition it deserved (Kyoto Animation you never fail to impress!) and from the success of last season got a bigger budget for more episodes and high quality everything! |

| ironic how in this ep it's their first day of school and i'm watching this the night before starting my last year of high school TT this episode was so cute and i agree that they shouldn't change anything. i feel like it will be too much people then imo. azunyan getting emotional during that part uwu seeing the new ed with lots of strawberries reminded me of the scene when mugi ate mio's strawberry on purpose lol |
| A decent first episode. Although it's not the best KyoAni can offer, it definitely had some hilarious moments. It was really entertaining to watch the girls trying to recruit new members to their club. The opening and the ending are decent, but definitely not as great as first season's. |

| As expected from KyoAni, the quality is even better this time around! Yui's matured look in the ED is an eye-pleasing treat, for sure. Lots of hilarious and touching antics, like the usual. It's sad that Azunyan will probably be the only member next year (lol @ that President imagination) but they've still got a "long" year in their hands and I'm totally down to see what they'll be up to! Op and ED have yet to grow on me, the first editions seem superior but they did take time to grow on me so here's to hoping these will too. |

| A standard premiere episode for the 2nd K-On season as Azusa's a 2nd year now and the others are 3rd years. Time really flew between the start of the first season and now, but there's a whole season now of the same grade shit so that should repair itself temporarily. The light music club in that school is basically tailored for one band, and the group are basically too tight knit for anyone else to really join in, especially since 5 people are already in that one band. Azusa if she wants to continue the group into the next year while the others will graduate will find it easier to gain new members when the others aren't there in comparison. Also, that OP song is just absolutely dreadful. Jesus one of the worst opening songs I've heard, just pure obnoxious to the ears. Yui please retire on vocals I beg. The Mio-led ED was decent but nowhere near as hype as the previous one, but it's listenable at least. |

| so, 26 episodes huh? wonder how they gonna fill whole year in 26 episodes what 11 episodes done with two year lol. it does seems though they gonna concentrate more on comedy than music, in S1 they would show that concert. loved they decided to keep them 5 members, it's feeling already too much with five of them lol. the scene with yui "new members" so she won't have to be serious xDD |

| Well we have plenty of episodes this time, so I am all in to witness the journey of our final year members of K-On club. Honestly this OP feels way underwhelming than the first one, same for ED too but still isn't something that would let my enjoyment down for the show. |

| Re-watching this. In my opinion, the animation in this season is better and more detailed compared to the first season. I'm still not a fan of the new OP or ED. Cagayake! GIRLS and Don't say "lazy" are so much better. Fortunately, NO, Thank You! is the second ED in this season. It's so amazing. About the episode, I don't know if it's just me, but the pacing seemed to be so much faster than before. It bothered me a little, but oh well. Their plans to get new members were hilarious. I'm glad they are in the same class this time. Mio doesn't have to be alone again. :) |

| Since 2010, stopped at Episode 12, I'm finally rewatching/resuming to completion K-ON! S2. The first season is very entertaining for how adorable and/or hilarious the cast is, but I remember this season being a bit boring in comparison at times. |
I again, praise KyoAni's great capture of atmosphere and it is shown incredibly well here:  Episode 1 began with an eerie and unsettling energy that KyoAni has mastered...from the washed out colors, removed background music, clean guitar audio, covering Yui's face, and the framing of the other 4 on their way to the club with a white dream-like filter. The first episode through this scene alone, has already hinted the tearful end of the season. This is why most fans use this scene as a nostalgic throwback |
