I'm under the assumption that rewrites are, in this case, taking a random hentai manga and completely changing the story/dialog to fit the western audience. Which I believe is what you are saying. I chose to keep them not because they are rewrites but because it implies that what they were originally called something else and can we just change the name to that. Unless you are saying there is more to a rewrite than that. |

What's the point in changing the title? The users who have that rewrite in their "completed" list, have read another manga, not the original one. If the title gets changed while people already have it in their lists, it's like they have read 2 manga, both the rewrite (fake one-shot) which is now changed, and the original manga (made of 10 chapters and with a different plot). That's non-sense and crazy. It's like cheating. Example: you're reading some chapters of Bleach, but with all the dialogues, names and plot completely changed and rewritten by some random guy instead of Tite Kubo. It's NOT like reading Bleach. You're reading a damn fake copy of it. So, what's the point in keeping rewrites or changing their titles? The substance doesn't change. I don't get it, seriously. Rewrites are not even written by japanese people, for Christ's sake. |

I know this is very common. And from what I could find, Champion RED is considered a shounen magazine. Now you've given some counter examples, and that's great. | Forgot to add this, but Tropical Citron should not have an "ecchi" genre. Most works of Jiro Matsumoto are unbelievably explicit (it's even bordering to hentai), so it should have Seinen, Psychological, and Historical genres. Thanks~ |
