SynopsisShirayuki was a young girl born with unique apple-red hair. She meets a famous but foolish Prince Raji, who falls in love with her at first sight and orders her to become his concubine. With nowhere else to go, Shirayuki cuts her hair and escapes to a neighboring country. While traversing through the forests, she meets a young boy, Zen, who helps her after she boldly cures his wounds but then gets poisoned by an apple given to Shirayuki. Meanwhile, Prince Raji sends out henchmen to search for her. What will happen to Shirayuki? What is Zen’s true character? A refreshing fantasy story between an optimistic heroine and a prince who constantly stays on her watch. (Source: Aerandria Scans)

They are both fantasy mangas and deals with princes or princesses. Both have nice guys who help the heroines and main characters who are interested in herbs/pharmacy.
Both mangas are about pharmacists who work for royalty and have a love plot between the pharmacist and the prince or princess. One distinguishing feature about the pharmacists is the colour of their hair, although it is for a completely different reasons in both mangas. Also, the romance is slightly repressed in both stories, which leads to a slightly different feel than shoujo's typically have.

These fantasy manga contain female lead characters that don't fall into the dense, overly kind, or quirky personality stereotypes. Both Karin and Shirayuki are young women that are pursuing their own goals. Karin runs a tea-leaf fortune telling business and Shirayuki is a pharmacist. The romantic interests are "nice" guys who are eager to support them. Both manga are good picks for a light fantasy story.
Both are sweet romances set in a fantasy world (sort of a quasi-medieval Howl's Moving Castle type world) led by strong female protagonists.
