Lol Just read your review on Ravages of time.

Lu Bu is definately 10x times more awesome in this interpretation, then any other animated interpretation. Since he is given not on Charisma, Intelligence that matches the famed Military tacticians. But also retains his legendary prowess in strength.

Also in this interpretation Lu Bu Felt more human. Especially after the scene were he gets ambushed on his way to deliver his daughter.

Hello! SSY is probably my favorite ongoing anime right now. I thought it was going to be a mystery at first. The highlight for me is the way they presented the setting. The audience learns more about their world along the protagonists. With good foreshadowing and cliffhangers it keeps me wondering what is going to happen next. Those things are very nice but I consider them the icing on the cake. I still have not seen something in SSY that makes it "great" for me tho. As of episode 21 i would say that its "very good". How about you?

I haven't read any more for a long time, I'm on chapter 6. It is getting more interesting now, its just that school has been kicking my butt. I find watching anime more relaxing these days compared to reading.

Merry Christmas!

So far I find the setting of your novel to be quite interesting, and I am eager to read more about it. I have many many questions about the "state of the world" in your novel. Are humans living with aliens in a Man-In-Black like fashion since the Empyrean encounter? What is the state of the world, who are happy and who are unhappy? Why are there rebellions? I find the history of this world quite difficult to follow. Thus it is hard for the action/conflicts in chapter 1-3 to interest me; as I don't know enough about the world to feel the significance of these events.

Taking something from your latest blog entry, I think your novel just might be sci fi x fantasy x alternate history. This is definitely something new for me. The early chapters left me with a lot of questions, hopefully they will be resolved in a satisfying way.

I have only just finished chapter 3 lol, probably shouldn't have said two weeks when my finals were coming. Just finished my last exam on the 19th.

My opinion of Toward the Terra in short: Even if we were to accept the premise that the series is highly melodramatic, among other blemishes, it has many other qualities to recommend it. It examines the moral obligations of institutions within a utopian society and what place disruptive individuals have in that society. At the same time, it doesn't lose the personal lens of Jomy and Keith's parallel stories. Its grand scope is laudable, yet retains a character-driven core. A satisfying space opera.

And how have you been, Aorii? Anything catch your fancy lately?

Panzer plays up its shtick very well, and I'm always game for unconventional sports series.
