A destiny beholds the main female protagonist from both series. Not only do they possesses noticeable scarlet hair, they also have similar personalities. As the story goes on, they get into unwanted conflicts that changes their lives forever. From that story also comes romance that blooms between the main male and female protagonist.
 
There are also fantasy elements that involves their settings with a taste of shoujo.

Both mangas are about a red-haired girl, mistreated. The main character looks a lot like the brother in Reimei no Arcana. Both are blond and have similar looks. Both mangas' have a ton of sadness and romance, but Akagami has more comedy. They are alike enough for you to believe the authors are the same (I don't think there are). You'll love it.

Reimei no Arcana hits that sweet spot of romance with solid character development, and fleshed out world building with a solid story. Shirayuki-hime does all of this with a bit more of a light hearted atmosphere; Arcana is a bit more rough on the emotions but completely worth the plunge.
On a more superficial level, they both star a red head lead, a romance with royalty, and the taboo of not being accepted by society. Completely unique in their stories, but each completely worth your time.

Akagami no Shirayuki-hime and Akatsuki no Yona chronicles the journey of a character a young girl as their life changes one day forever after one faithful event. Starting off as girl who lacks confidence, they develop throughout the series after facing off against their fears. The relationships they develop with other characters ranges from a variety of emotions including romance, friendship, and hatred. Both series takes place in a fantasy setting where there are unlimited possibilities.

Both mangas have a young, red-haired heroine who goes on a journey facing many obstacles along the way. Both main characters start off as someone who doesn't have the strength and confidence to do things on her own, but as she meets more people joining the group, her growth gradually develops with a lot of potentials based on what they go up against. This takes place in a historical time period and the relationships she makes with one another are strongly bonded by love, friendship, and even hatred.

Both feature a red-headed female protagonist who starts off physically weak and constantly in need of saving, but over time develop their already existing traits into strengths to protect themselves/people they care about. Akatsuki no Yona focuses more on Yona's development as a character, both physically and mentally, while Akagami no Shirayukihime has a bit more focus on the romance of the story. Both focus quite a bit on the running of kingdoms and fantasy-esque politics. They each have different approaches to a similar topic, and reading them alongside each other offers differing perspectives, which is kind of interesting.

the art style is kind of the same. while i was reading ZHD, i couldn't help remember AnS. lol. there are both princes in the story (Johanne in ZHD and Zen in Ans) both the main girls are related to medicine in some way.  they're both really good stories and really cute. :)  i'm pretty sure if you like one of them, you'll like the other.

Despite their different premises, Akagami no Shirayuki-hime and Kamisama Hajimemashita has a familiar feel with their story. Both series' main female protagonist are self-independent and are clever with their ways of thinking. Their encounter with the main male protagonist seems to be almost like fate as they get to know each other. Both series also adapts romance that becomes more evident as the story progresses on. There is also distinctive amount of fantasy elements as we see how their world functions.

Both stories focuses on a 'royal' family member and their friend/parter (in each manga respectively) in a fantasy world where kings, nobles and servants serve as the political structure of this world. +C has more action in it while Shirayuki Hime is obviously more romantic. But after reading both I enjoyed them both immensely and felt a similar feel to it (largely due to the beautiful character designs and art both of these manga contain).

the relationship dynamic between both main couples is very similar in that the male and female leads are very supportive and trustful of each other. The female lead in both is emotionally strong and will often be left alone by the male lead because he has faith in her abilities, which gives similar feelings to the reader. As well, any drama that might be in each manga isn't exhausting to read because the bubbly and happy atmosphere overpowers it.

Both mangas are about pharmacists who work for royalty and have a love plot between the pharmacist and the prince or princess. One distinguishing feature about the pharmacists is the colour of their hair, although it is for a completely different reasons in both mangas. Also, the romance is slightly repressed in both stories, which leads to a slightly different feel than shoujo's typically have.

Tales of Reincarnation in Maydare is an everything bagel, and Akagami no SHirayuki-hime croque-madame.

So, I will say that Blue Ramun is not nearly as great as Akagami no Shirayuki-hime, but, you will more than likely enjoy one if you like the other. 

- Both heroines have something special about them. (Blue blood, Red hair)
- Both heroines are doctors.
- Both heroines have to overcome their status when it comes to being with their love interest. (Blue Doctor/Captain, Royal Pharmacist/2nd Prince)
- Both heroines have to deal with being targeted for their looks. (Blue eyes, Red hair)

Though the setting is totally different for these two mangas, one relates to kingdoms and royalties while the other relates to computers and technologies, they are similar in the way the characters are set up. In both of them, the main female character is protected by the respective male protagonists as well as other side-characters, but that doesn't make them weak. The heroines are very capable of protecting themselves as well as the ones they love when the time comes. The male protagonists know this and respect and believe their beloved "princesses". The main characters in both the mangas know well how they feel towards the other, but they keep their distance and support each other to make their lives meaningful. The character development is very powerful. However DD holds a dark side. read more

They then attract the attention of nobility and end up becoming fast friends and formidable allies in their future endeavors. Both heroines, Shirayuki and Dahlia, struggle with wanting to nurture their talents through their own means without accepting hand outs from their new noble friends/love interests. In addition both have a very similar historical fantasy setting, although Madougushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai does contain magic. Overall, both cute romance!!

In both mangas, a girl meets a prince from a country, and falls for him. Both girls are "orphans" (or so they say?). An opposing force hinders the two and something is needed to reverse something that has been done (poison in Akagami no Shirayuki-hime, and a spell in Tobenai Washi Ouji). As the opposing force attempts to find those two, something happens, and a plan is put into action (not really a plan in Akagami no Shirayuki-hime). All ends well, opposing force is punished. However, Akagami no Shiraykui-hime is ongoing (what was described was just the first chapter) and longer, whereas Tobenai Washi Ouji is a oneshot.  read more

Although Akagami no Shirayuki-hime has a very light-hearted setting and Joou no Hana becomes more serious and twisted as the plot goes on, both manga have a "royal" setting with some politics. Furtermore, both manga have an intelligent, strong and independent female lead who does her best to reach a certain goal, and a male lead who supports them from behind.

okay, i found the two main girls to be similar. both of them are girls that aren't going to cry in every chapter and in general don't need to depend on their guy for everything. both of the girls are strong and depend on themselves to achieve their goals. but don't worry, the guy still saves them when it's important :)

Both have a spinn off of european fairy tale feeling and the main girl characters gave off sort of a similar feel. Both have monarchy, castles and such. Also, both deal with family/social pressure for them to not be together. The male leads are different even thought they are both hot. Sweety Gem's male character gets angry easier. Also, SG starts in the past and takes place in the present. wile Akagami all takes place in the same time period.

Both stories are set in a somewhat historical setting and have elements of steampunk. Akagami no Shirayukihime deals with a prince and a pharmacist while Crookclock is about a rich clockmaker and a maid servant. Akagami no Shirayukihime is focused more towards friendship and dealing with day-to-day happenings while Crookclock is a bit more romance oriented. Both include heart-warming moments and incidents that will cause you to fall out of your chair laughing.

Both have the male protagonist finding themselves falling in love with the female lead, with the females taking a little longer until they realize their feelings. Both also have this adorable feel to it as you read on.

Despite Shirayuki Hime not having any rivalry between the male and female, the two mangas are relatively the same:)

To be honest these two manga are not that similar in terms of plot or characters. ANS is a calm slice of life/political romantic drama with mature characters while TNS is a wacky ninja rom com. But, both series involve a female lead who is incredibly knowledgeable about plants and how to make them into medicine, which often surprises other characters in the story.

The Thief and the Jewel Girl is a one shot and Akagami no Shirayuki-hime is an ongoing series, so you can read this one shot while you are waiting for new chapters.   This is mostly suited to shoujo lovers.

Their adventure lands them in a world where they make concrete bonds with others. Thus, expect relationship building between her and various characters that portrays a wide range of emotions. Both series' world fiction also adapts fantasy elements although Shinobi Life has more historical context while Akagami leans more towards shoujo. The story lines are different, but both manga take place in an old-fashioned medieval-esque time period where there are princess and princesses within different kingdoms. In both stories, the heroine are of different social status, with one being poor and one being a princess of a prestigious country. They both meet guys, who happen to be princes, and a love develops, although Shirayuki is more of a slow love.

Both loves are innocent and they both face the obstacles of opposition of their relationship and other guys or women who want to get in the way.
