| There is action on Yumiko's route if i remember well. They should have added the scene with Amane & Makina when Yuuji enters in the school. Also, i didn't thought that Yuuji was this muscular ! My god, thoses pantsu shots, absolutely not needed... They censored the scene when Yuuji enters with Amane already inside. Now, i'm pretty sure we're going with Amane's route, too many hints. I love also how people describe Kazama Yuuji as the new Shiba Tatsuya. |

| Okay, I was sceptical about the anime, seeing as most of the VN's greatness, I think, came from the format… I mean the best character was the protagonist, which is not what most VNs do (blank state protagonists, I'm barfing) and the contents of his head were the most hilarious commentary… However, I'm very pleased with the first episode. It contains so much delicious foreshadowing and it's pretty sweet to see animated Michiru-sama (arguably the one character who was destined to be animated sooner or later, it's freakin' Michiru, she was born a cartoon) and hear the voices again… I'm not gonna jump on the DAT ENDING OHMAGERD wagon though. It was pretty cool, but really didn't show anything relevant (except for the one part). I know they have little time to do them plots, but if they remove all that hilarious humor, I'm going to cry. It's probably an uncommon opinion, but Grisaia's absolute best element is the comedy and I'll have nobody tell me otherwise. Guys, keep the jokes in. Remove instead. Seriously, it was so boring I had to skip the majority of it and guess what ― I lost nothing that would prevent me from understanding the story and sympathizing with the characters. That was just padding, I swear, if they decide to dedicate more than maybe half an episode to this, I'm gonna flip. |

I agree so much with you concerning the comedy part of Grisaia, really, really FUNNY ! Especially with Makina, oh god, now i want a Makina route (and the bad end) ! Can't wait to the engrish scene. |
| lol at dat war. Grisaia is just a great mix between lighthearted stuff(comedy/harem) and serious stuff. Thats what makes it good. No need to throw fake percentages around lol. |

Unfortunately what you said doesn't necessarily hold true as Little Busters took forever to get adapted and Rewrite still hasnt been adapted. Grisaia isn't really that old either. I think speculating on how the anime will be is pointless at this point. Might as well watch it and see what they do. If it sucks, the source material exists and translated for anyone who really was that interested. So yeah not a hugeeee deal. |
| That moment when you guys are ignoring the fact that Grisaia is about to release on Steam, and that is why it has taken them so long to get the anime moving. That moment when blind optimism will probably burn you in the end when the volumes go on amazon and its 12 episodes. If they dont deliver me angelic howl and this turns out to be a 12 episode commercial for the steam release i'm going to be much more upset than i would have been with no anime. |

My biggest disagreement so far (though there were many) with your opinions; I see this as they genuinely want to hook as many viewers as they possibly can with the first episode because of the big budget they're obviously pouring into it. I mean, come on. All it takes is to read this thread. Do you not see how many would have dropped this anime already if not for the foreshadowing? To me it shows that the anime is in focus, not sales of the VN. Additionally, there's the censoring and the 21:9 aspect ratio, both which would probably be cut in a blu-ray, so they badly want to sell BDs as well. That inspires faith for me, they want to make this show stick. |

| I consider spoiling all the routes in the first episode was basically the directors way of hooking people to the series. An anime has to be done differently then a visual novel after all. It was either that or the director just doesn't know how to be subtle and that was of a way of being "hey in case you didnt realize these girls are messed up in the head, just thought I let you know" Which I guess is fine considering Grisaia isn't the most subtle thing in the world but it was a bit blatant. Angelic Howl would require a very good director who knew what they were doing to be good. Even if they do it I don't expect them to do it well. Though if they do I'll be pleasantly surprised. If its a 12 episode commercial like you said, then yeah it wouldn't be the first time that's happened. Though I believe Grisaia is pretty damn popular in japan so that probably won't happen (as thats how they were able to milk the series in such an absurd fashion). |

| The censoring is there because every anime censors titties on TV. Also I'd like to point out for the 50000th time that when something is popular on mal that doesnt mean it is popular in japan. In fact, a lot of the time the grimdark edgy bullshit that is popular on myanimelist ends up bombing in japan because their culture doesnt value it. Personally I didnt see the previews for Makina and Michiru as all that dark or whatever. I dont personally care to see Angelic Howl for the gore. I dont really care if their adaptation of Angelic Howl sucks. I want to see what it looked like. As great as angelic howl was, it seriously consisted of like 4 CGs being repeated over and over. I want to see it. I could care less if the content itself is good. Also I dont blame 8Bit for the panty shots. Considering the 2 sequels are LOADED with omake ridiculousness and fan service I assume front wing is just doing that now. |

| I really liked seeing the small things that weren't fully shown in the visual novel, like THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DORM'S LOBBY and what the dorm's building looked like from the outside. |

Well it is popular in Japan, it ranked in the top rankings for visual novels for all 3 games in the years they were released. I guess I can see where your coming from, but I'd rather have a good adaption of it rather than just aiming low. Also no one can complain about the fanservice in grisaia for the anime. The visual novels contain the most ludicrous fanservice I've ever seen in a story oriented game (not the main girls h scenes). |

There is a ton of causal fan service nudity in kajitsu. People are just butthurt about panty shots specifically because they have a stigma attached to them. |

| Well, that was better than expected to be honest. Especially with the TLWiki subs. I'm guessing people who haven't read the VN will be quite intrigued by all the stuff that was shown near the end there. I know I would be. This is a pretty good start. The anime using the VN music is a nice touch. Like it. Yuuji was good and funny in this. It was nice to actually hear his voice for once, including his voiced inner monologue. Also that lewd comedy near the end with Amane... hope to see more of that from the VN, in general. There wasn't much Makina in this episode, but I hope we get to see her crazy "drunk old man" talk later on (or whatever you wanna call her kind of speech pattern... you know what I mean). Also Sachi comedy, ooooh yes. |

| Well I'll admit watching the first half or more of the episode I thought it was okay... but I guess that happens with some first episodes. But wow, that ending, I didn't know all that was going to happen. I'm interested to see where it goes from here, the story looks way deeper than what I thought going into the show |
