| Hey, if you want to change the limit from chapters to volumes, (say, something like 15 volumes maximum maybe?) then I'm all for it, maybe take into consideration the amount of words the manga has as a whole (according to the word of the nominator of course). In my case I have two 15 volumes manga that I would be able to nominate if we do go with the change, that are very light in the amount of words in them IMO. You have read one of them (Homunculus) I was never really convinced about the chapters being the limit, some manga as long as 16 or even 18 volumes have been accepted over much shorter stuff in the past and that makes no sense to me. Again, I would be ok with 15 volumes being the maximum. Where is that spreadsheet with all the nominated manga again? I'm willing to bet not much would change beside some new series being allowed. Just out of my head right now I cannot think of that many series that would become not allowed. I can recall this 16 volumes shoujo manga nominated by someone which I'm pretty sure hasn't participated in quite a while, this manga https://myanimelist.net/manga/379/Jiraishin (19) which I got and dropped, Crows (26 ffs), which Demo nominated only once If I'm not mistaken and ½ Prince(16), not much of a loss if you ask me, and in exchange we would get several new manga becoming allows. No worries, I appreciate textwalls :) The list is in the OP I was origianlly thinking a bit higher, maybe 17-18 or even 20. It's the intermittent after all, and spending points to re-roll/drop things is perfectly fine haha. I'll preliminary let the next roulette be the last chapter based and then swap, both for manga and intermittent manga. I'd suggest 18 here and 15 in the original, but that might be too high? 6*30 pages/volume is a pretty fair number I think and it turns out those number if calculating 120/100 chapters and we'll lose almost nothing. Thoughts would be appreciated |

I'm totally fine with 18/16 (or 18/15, but I would prefer 16 myself. I'd even prefer 20/16 but I know not everyone is fine with long manga but really, a volume more or less is not going to be a big deal at that point): Any other inputs? |
