| What a letdown was this season and that's coming from the first one that wasn't a masterpiece either, you may think the sky was the limit but this was so much worse, the only reason I kept watching it is because I like the characters and saw a glimpse of hope on S1, I can't hate it, I'm just super disappointed. |
| Welp, that was definitely an ending lol. I wasn’t really a fan of this finale, it was 90% serious and 10% comedy and even then I didn’t find it very funny, of course that’s subjective but still. The Destra fight was very short lived, I did like Saria fighting back but she didn’t do much, and then Seichi comes back to life and breaks any kind of tension there was with his idol performance and magically everyone who died this season is back to life lol, almost like it never happened. Then Destra offs himself to be with the one he loves which is understandable tbh, I did like that scene in the credits in the afterlife since Destra’s backstory and Libera was one of the good things about this season. And we got to see Seichi’s harem one last time and a credits reel which shows what happened to all the characters which I did like. And so ends this Season 2 of Fruit of Evolution, and boy did my opinion on this season do a bit of a 180 lol, early on I was onboard but I slowly fell off as it went on, especially in the 2nd half. I think my biggest issue was that this season wasn’t near as fun and silly as the first, it took itself too seriously a lot of the time, so when things were back to being goofy it just felt out of place. And not to mention I’m pretty sure the art and animation is worse than before, I do think the art style is nice but other than that I think it was a downgrade, but it’s also been a while since Fall 2021 so I could be misremembering. And I also need to mention that my two best girls Lulune and Artoria took massive backseats this season, so that also hurt it a bit for me lol. But two things that were really good and on par with the first season were the OP and ED, OP didn’t have the best visuals but it did have a great song as did the ED, it actually makes me wish they were in a different show because they’re too good for this one lol. But, even with all that being said, I did think this was a fine season overall because I did have some fun with it and there was a glimmer of what Season 1 had, I just hope if a 3rd season ever comes about that it’s much better than this one. |

| And so Seiichi defeats Destra with an evolved power of love and everyone who died either comes back to life or is reunited with their loved ones as we end the series with some man on ape action. You know, even though it's not April 1st for several more hours where I live it's somewhat appropriate that I type out my final thoughts for this joke of a show while MAL is in the festive spirit. I just looked up my final thoughts on season 1 and I gave it a very generous 6/10, justifying it that while yes, the art and animation stunk at least it was a comedy that clearly wasn't taking itself too seriously. Can I say the same here? I....don't think so? It's hard to tell if I was meant to take the final battle at all seriously given how poorly it was both depicted and built towards. I wanna say this was all some random joke the creators think we're all in on, but that might be giving them too much credit. Hell, it is giving them too much credit. Either way this was a sharp step down from the already not great first season, and easily the worst show I watched all Winter. Considering I watched roughly 20 shows this season that's probably saying something too. But whatever, it's done now...let it stay done, please. Far too kind 5/10. |

| I finally found my 2nd full season 1/10 after School Days. What the heck even happened to this season? Season 1 was absurd but at least it was fun to watch. Season 2 was nothing like that and it was torture to watch. |

| Funny how i watch this right at the 1st April. Am i really that fools to watch this final episode fully loaded? Destra spitting lotta fact there. The heck happen there? Its nothing but dumpster fire. He killed himself kinda be a great resolution instead of continue side by side by those people. And that Fin like an amazing word too coming from this whatever thingy. I feel like watching Ex-Arm full season actually lotta better experience than having this final episode comes out. |

Probably the worst anime I've watched from the bunch of seasonals I've watched over the course of 3 months. The first season was average as best, but this? Holy molely... |

| If there was a landfill that had collected 10 years worth of all trash in the world and then I go and sit in front of it and stare at it for another 10 years........THAT STILL WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER USE OF MY LIFE THEN WATCH THIS GARBAGE! This show is so bad I'd rather somehow magically regrow my foreskin and get recircumcised as an adult with no anesthetics than watch this again! True Love Evolution, more like True Trash Evolution! S1 was bad but enjoyable. This season apparently ate every trash evolution fruit and true d into this monstrosity. 1/10, first time I wish I could go negative on a show. May God have mercy on the souls of all people involved with the making of this show.  |

Compared to the previous season this one feels like It's a gag anime. I literally think watching paint dry would be way more fun than getting tortured by watching this. In episode 3 if i remember correctly the voice actor for the mc who also voices Zenitsu in KNY either doesn't know how to scream for a rage scene or the sound guys chose the worst audio clip of him screaming and the animation looked goofy as hell. I don't know if it's exactly like this in the original work but if so the author should be ashamed of himself for releasing something as embarrassing as this. It took all of the bad sides of mass produced isekai LN and gave birth to this. I haven't regretted watching an anime for a long while. |
| So it all ended up in a goofy musical in which Seiichi revived everyone and even fixed that girl's face (she's really pretty by the way) huh.... Honestly, as absurd as one could expect from this series lol. Man, what the hell happened to this season? I know the first season wasn't anything amazing but I personally found it quite charming and enjoyed it a lot. This one on the other hand was... boring. I know they changed things from the source but I don't know exactly what, but as an anime only, for starters, the school part was slow, boring and I didn't give a shit about the new characters. Also for some reason there was an overabundance of references and the overall comedy just wasn't the same. For something I had really liked and wasn't expecting a second season, what a disappointment this turned out to be. Oh, and I found it funny how they showed the best piece of animation in the series right at the beginning and we didn't see anything like it again until we saw the same scene again near the end haha. |

| Look, this show and series has been very weird, very dumb, very ridiculous, and plenty of moments were a waste of time... but at the very least the whole show embraces its stupidity. It loves itself and that's good enough! ULTIMATE SKILL: "Say You Love me in this Loveless Age, 2023" For some reason the second season is deemed abysmal in comparison to the first season, but both seasons were always super trashy fun to begin with? |

| So, the "power of love" is the new "power of friendship" in 2k23. I have never seen such a childish - not kid targeted - anime. The amount of cringe made me feel embarassed for myself while watching this. I was corious to see how far the second season of a series I have already rated low could go. A nice experiment, but at what cost? |
