| Really like how the King can't beat Komugi. Really like her character also. I wonder how she'll play a part in the plot in later episodes. That cliffhanger at the end of the preview though.. |
| I was jumping up and down like a little puppy to the news that Togashi will probably start writing again soon. Komugi is awesome really liked her character, how she is just unafraid of all that big shot Ant King. She is just having fun playing her favorite game!!! The King starts to freak out :P. All in all an awesome episode and I found the pacing to be pretty good(haven't read the manga). |

| Too people complaining about the slow pacing, either the news of Togashi returning is true and madhouse is slowing the pace, or they are doing this to flesh out this part of the arc. (Honestly this part of the arc was my favorite and I would enjoy if they kept this pace :]) |

| Pretty good episode. No matter what the King does he cannot beat the girl in Gungi. Morel's Deep Purple ability is pretty cool. The preview for next week looks pretty good. |

| Hunter X Hunter has this thing that always makes me enjoy the entire episode. 5/5 I'm liking how the King is becoming angry because he can't defeat the girl. I can't to see what will be his reaction. Knuckle is so nice. ^_^ I don't like Cheetu at all. Hope Morel kicks his ass. |

| i read the manga, did i find it slow paced ? heck no !! it was filled with different types of scenarios,strategies and exciting buildups . i don't get whats boring you, guys ... is it komugi and gungi matches ? (btw loved the ugliness in her ) , or morels inner thoughts trying to read an opponents moves ? i am actually grateful because rarely you see the mental deduction process that goes behind facing unknown enemy powers in shonen battles . both of these are detailed creation of togashi . this guy invented a detailed real strategic game for an arc . that's how his brain works ... really i don't get how you judge an episode slow ... |

| Wow, just wow. This episode made me feel like Togashi completely embodied Araki's style. You know, the rules for the fights; the thoughts of the enemies about their foe's power; the mind game ect. Maybe one of my favorites episodes so far in this arc. Btw, Komugi and King's gungi matches are intriguing me, also it's interesting to see a change of character by the King. |

| I'm interested to see more of Meruem's games with that gungi champion, I wonder if it's going to change the King's views or if he learns something from it and applies it to his strategies during the selection. I really doubt he'll kill her out of frustration, I think he's dead set on playing until he wins. At the moment, it seems to me that he wants to figure out how to defeat her and add that knowledge to his rhythm, which may prove useful in his battles to come. |

Anyways really liked that gungi game and Komugi seems like an adorable character :D ...tho that snot dripping from her nose kinda disturbs me XD But great news if the manga really continues this december, even tho I decided not to read it until the anime ends/goes to a longer hiatus. Can't wait for more. xP |

| Been waiting for this, Komugi destroying the King. Also, one of my favorite parts, Morel vs Cheetu in that space. I really love that Morel is so relaxed. Ahahaha. |

| Komugi's voice is really annoying, the anime is already making her unlikable to me. The voice actress is waaaayyy overacting and her really fake and exaggerate cutsey loli voice really make my ears bleed. also way too pandering to otaku. My impression of Komuji in the manga is that she should sound more natural and genuine, she should be an eccentric from a poor background (lacked grace) who geek out on her passion (should also talk faster, because she should be overtly exciting about her subject). Not overt cutsey and 'refined'. TOO fake. But I guess Japanese just love these fake sounding loli voice that no real life girl can honestly relate to. I'm very disappointed |

| Meleoron's invisible tears were really adorable! He has a lot more in common with Knuckle compared to Gon haha. Knuckle/Meleoron team ftw The pacing is just fine with me. I want as much Gungi as possible, and Komugi's play is essentially Komugi is supposed to be a humble character and a little simple minded about things other than gungi. She quite aggressively prostrates before the king/puts herself down in the manga too so I dont feel there was overacting. I think it's supposed to be an idiot voice, not a cutesy voice. What she sounds like is not cute, it's what she says that's sweet lol. |
| I like where this is going. Someone powerful like the king is facing defeat. I'm sure his character will get some good development thanks to Komugi. |

I hated that they ruined the character in the anime like that. A more natural, unaware, unpretentious, geeky Komugi would come off way more 'cute' in a genuine way. Komugi has a lot of fun expression, yet the voice actress sound so retrain, trying so hard to maintain her voice as high pitch as she can, and the try too hard 'look how adoooorable I am" act...argh. but then Japan (esp anime) never celebrate natural acting in general anyway and the anime crowd tend to have a limited idea of what 'cute' is. I thought Killua's voice actress did a good job to come off sounding like a regular person, despite how emo his lines could come off, yet he didn't sound predictably 'anime'. |

| The thing about animated Komugi is that her snots moves, and rather realistically, everytime she breathe/talk. They never seems THAT gross when they lay still in the manga panel. |
| This episode was incredible. It had a certain something, between the slow pacing and the introduction of the Gungi master, which lead to a extremely interesting situation. Meruem's head must be boiling right now with the sudden realization that, apparently, he's not perfect. The selection is about to start and we know nothing about Killua. Togashi is a marvelous storyteller. |
