Really cool episode, starting to like Robin now and see her as a full fledged member. Had to go through the same process with Chopper :P

Indeed they could well be one and the same... Roger appeared to leave a message which guided Robin along to other poneglyphs eventually leading to the big one. I wonder if Roger left this message on his return journey after coming back from the end of the grand line. Surely he must've otherwise how would he know the locations?

Farewell episode = automatic win. It has always been like that in One Piece. The ending was so hilarious.

The story of the Poneglyphs is starting to get a lot of interest. I hope this will be one of the main aspects of the storyline of the series and its connection with the past.

Hilarious ending and it was nice to see Robin laughing. It seems she's finally found her reason to keep on living too after reading the message on the poneglyph. You have to love Gold D Rodger's tagging skills, heh.

So it looks like Robin has a reason to find the one piece as well. I think that shes going to be quite important in finding and looking for it

Good episode, but what an absolutely retarded ending! Why is this one of those anime where nothing good happens and everyone just ignores the feelings people have for each other? Those people wanted to thank them and give them gold, but they ran off crying tears of fear. what absolutely ridiculous writing. I'd hate this as a kid as well, so I don't know why they did it that way...

Good job they didn't take that gold column with them, bc there wouldn't be a ship left to navigate!

Hmmm, so turns out Gol D. Roger went to Skypiea and aleady knew about the Poneglyths. Was he looking for the hidden truth of the world as well?
So the Rio Poneglyth is just the information/writings gained from all of the other Poneplyths? Robin got a lot of travelling to do XD

It all obviously links back to the One Piece, the people with "D" in their names, and also Raftel. I guess we're not gonna know until they reach Raftel, which will probably be the final arc.

Miiiillllleeeesss away from where I am with OP currently lol

Skypieans and Shandians work together to lift the bell, finally and undeniably destroying the shackles of war between them, especially in regards to the fact that they no longer need to protect the poneglyph and due to the fact that I think they're all going to have to live together in Upper Yard now. I hope we get an update on these people!

I had wished for Usopp to take some dials with him and I'm so happy he did! He's going to be able to make so many more crazy things without breaking the anime's universe rules! Now I hope we see Nami keep her impact dial that she got from Gan Fall and her waver. If all that is done then we have some new and awesome tools for our crew to play with.

Zoro was practicing his technique to cut through stone, the same one he learned while fighting Mr.1.

Going into the snake to get gold was hilarious. I wasn't expecting it.

So, the poneglyph's are all around the world, when they come together the Rio poneglyph is formed, the poneglyph that tells the untold history of the world, and one that seemingly has to do with 2 or more weapons of mass destruction. I have some feelings that one of the major bad guys in the anime will try to and possibly collect these weapons, not unlike Crocodile tried. And it seems Gol. D Rodger was trying to form this Rio poneglyph, and it may have just implied that the Rio poneglyph is the one piece! If that's true, my cheesy prediction that the one piece is your adventure has been disproved. It's also given me another thought, if Gol D. Rodger died before finishing his mission and bringing together the Rio poneglyph, then I sincerely think Monkey D. Luffy will take over the job and finish what Rodger started. Everyone and their dog's girlfriend already compare Luffy to the man. This was a cool plot development and One Piece is starting to get a much bigger connected plot line than "we're looking for something that might not exist but gives us many adventures". I'm thinking Robbin will be an incredibly vital part of the story, she reminds me of Sheena from Tales of Symphonia

I thought the thing that was going to happen was that the Shandians, alike Calgara, would give their meaningless gold to the outsiders, alike Noland, so they could take it back with them and literally give it, or some of it, to Noland completing the historical cycle. It can still happen I suppose, but not necessarily with that pillar. I'm sure Robbin understood that whether or not they took the pillar they wouldn't stop doing what they're doing and probably waste all the money anyways. It's not like they didn't already have bags full of gold.

:) good episode for character interactions, potential character skill growth, and plot development.

Those Straw Hats are the biggest morons sometimes but they're our morons~ I guess that they don't really have much room in the ship for that gigantic golden column but they could've had all the lavish food and ship repairs and upgrades they can get if they somehow found a way to throw it down with him and have Masira salvage it for them.

The Shandian Poneglyph revealed the location of yet another superweapon but that's not what Nico's after. Gol D. Roger's signature made her realize that these stones are actually part of something big and I'm very, very excited to see the pieces slowly but surely come together soon. It's also pretty damn impressive that Gol was able to get to the golden bell even though it's so far up there.

Finally Robin saw the Poneglyph and finding out that Gol D. Roger was there before them. So the Rio Poneglyph are all the Poneglyphs around the world combined and Robin is already on the way to the next one. Good to see her smiling with the crew.

I thought it was a bit weird that they decided to steal stuff and run off after everything that’s just happened. I know they’re supposed to be pirates but but it seemed to go against the good nature of Luffy and the Strawhats. I guess it made for a somewhat comical end to the arc, but I was a little disappointed tbh.

Funny episode especially at the end with the gold.

I am interested were this Poneglph mystery ends at. Gold Rodger being on sky island is interesting. I wonder if the one piece is R the Poneglyph location.

Also it was obvious before but the letter d is something big too. I wonder if Roger and Luffy are related.

Interesting, it appears the Pirate King himself was on Skypiea awhile ago and apparently Gan Fall has a connection with him. It appears to me, that the Poneglyphs in general paint a bigger picture for the world of One Piece itself. If Gol D Roger is was indeed the one who brought that Poneglyph here on Skypiea then there must be more of them which will also mean that Nico Robin will play an important for the rest of One Piece.

The rest of the episode was pretty hilarious if I do say so myself. No idea how they would’ve fitted that massive gold column on the Going Merry anyway. XD I mean the Skypieans and Shandians a like had good intentions but yeah I don’t think the other Straw Hats would’ve known anyway. Otherwise great episode all around for me there.
