And you really know Kuma’s serious when he punches someone instead of using his paws... and even uses Haki on top of that, dude is just that serious. Bonney also locking in and tried another Nika-like future attack, even if it didn’t hit. Ivan could tell right away that Kuma was acting on his own, not following orders. This man traveled all the way to Egghead just for his daughter. Father goals right here folks. But anyways, yeah, as much as I liked the conclusion of Kuma's backstory, it's nice to be back in the present after so long. Hopefully we get to see Saturn's ass beat soon:) |

| it was well made with the sad emotions and such (especially with the father daughter moment with kuma) but still cant escape from the bad pacing of these episodes, cant even adapt a whole chapter anymore, its scary to imagine how bad the vegapunk broadcast is going to be as this was widely considered as the worst part of the manga, so that will be torture for the viewers |

| another peak episode that perfectly captures why this adaptation is the best written source to anime adaptation, that build up of kuma's arrival and his determination to save bonney and then punching saturn's face to then opening song playing in that scene was perfection. 10/10 episode |

| You know shits gonna go down in an anime episode when they skip the OP, even more so in One Piece because I can't recall the last time, if ever, that an episode did this. All right well technically the OP wasn't skipped but instead just placed at the end, but still. And what a great creative choice because after the hype and long-awaited KUMA PUNCH, playing the OP over a montage of wholesome Kuma-Bonney moments gave us a nice emotional payoff. Seeing their relationship and backstory has definitely been one of the more emotionally taxing arcs in the series, so I'm glad we're back in the present. |

Honestly, it's impossible to watch One piece, week after week without a packet of tissues for my tears. Bonney has been such a strong character after all she has been through and so did Kuma, he is my aspiration to be that kind of father one day. |

| The back to back is absolutely diabolical. I just love how Bonney goes back to her child form when she wants to reveal her vulnerable self. And just that moment with her harrowing cries and Kuma just going on a mad-dash. Absolute cinema man. Papa's back in town, baby. |

| we rawdogged it, no opening and just straight into it. absolute cinema and it's ridiculous how good weekly one piece is. that punch which was reminiscent of luffy punching the celestial dragon with the sketchy manga filter was so good, manga fans been asking for it for ages and toei understood the assignment. |
