| Beyond the lights and fame is always suffering for the minority. A white tiger though is a pretty rare race. It was such joy seeing the slaves return to their village. Sadeena sure adds a nice contrast to the village and the bond between him and Raphtalia. Gotta say the area around the village really was pretty and served as an effective stage that showed Atla's determination to rebuild her life. Its unfortunate but the raid showed well just how vulnerble the village is without Naofumi around. The slavers being enslaved though sure was poetic justice. The insight into staff hero was pretty interesting. Would be nice to see him join the narrative in some fashion. |

| I love this episode. 😀 The Tiger siblings moments were so nice and calm. 😀 Naofumi is such an amazing guy and I love Sadeena a lot especially her flirting side but Raphtalia is always my Raccoon Megami. 😄 |

| I'm glad that Naofumi went out of his way to purchase both Fohl and Atla. The fact that he used an expensive looking elixer of Yggdrasil on her shows how he's willing to help her recover and he takes the pair, along with the other former slaves, back to his village. Sadly, while his group was away, a bunch of slavers hell bent on causing trouble by damaging houses and capturing the former slaves, ready to sell them off again for an easy profit. It was a good thing that Naofumi taught Fohl about the hidden flare, which he used in time. Naofumi's group got back quickly and dished out a quick thrashing on the slavers. I enjoyed how he gloated at the leader, saying he and his cronies will get the taste of their own by being sold on as slaves themselves. A fitting punishment in this case! XD The Staff Hero having some sort of a connection to both Fohl and Atla was interesting, though. Hopefully that connection will be explored further upon soon, but for now, it's time to rescue the Spear Hero in the next episode. |
| I loved that the history of the Staff Hero was told like a story and not like a flashback, I may have more curiousity about him already knowing his story Mfs got what they were looking for ... slaves but in another way |

| I still don't get why there are dumb people who will attack the village of a hero, not just any hero though but the shield hero. I'm guessing Fohl and Atla are related to trash, maybe his sister's kids? That's the only thing I can infer based on what Atla and the queen said. |

| I hated the king in the beginning of the series, but I confess that now I'm trying to see a good side of him, specially after when they showed us that he wasn't evil by himself in season one. It looks like we are going to some kind of redemption arc for him and the other three heroes and I'm aprecciating it. |
| This sucked hard, the little invasion to their town was better in the manga, there the kids beated the bandits totally by themselves, it was badass, and it happend before the siblings were introduced. Poor Atlas, she had it really rough, and she is soo cute, kinda freaks me out that in the web novel Naofumi fucks her lmao but it's better to not talk about that shit. |

| The twin white tigers has joined Naofumi's party, some bandit doing bandit stuff and defeated, some more backstory about the king Thrash (I gotta he might getting a redemption) and they found Motoyasu, next one gonna be interesting |
| I don't know which of the manga or the anime is closer to the original story, but I find the manga to be much more interesting in its writing than this adaptation. They almost completely removed all the part about the young slaves and how they become stronger. The result is that while in the manga it's the slaves who defend themselves against the slavers, here they are powerless and it's still the heroes that need to come to save the day. In the manga, it's Raphtalia who suggests to sell the slavers as slaves, while she has not part in the anime at all on this topic. As a general rule, this adaptation erase most events or stories concerning the secondary characters. In other words, it's a bad adaptation. I guess there's no point in keeping watching it. Dropped. |

Shield Hero continues to give huge amounts of money to slavers making them more powerful.
His town gets attacked by weak slavers who know at best they'd be tracked down and killed, because that is what people do in really stupid shows.
Signal flare is hidden away making it inconvenient as possible to use... because that makes sense in really stupid shows.

| Every scene in this episode was dumb, the series in general nah. Otherwise you literally said word for word on what's wrong with this episode. Naofumi felt so out of character this episode. The dude is smarter than this and would never leave the village with one guard if he didn't think the kids were strong enough. Selling the slave traders to slave traders? Anime Naoufumi always felt more like big talk but was actually pretty merciful. He didn't kill trash or slut despite them making his life a living hell. He saw someone cared about them so he spared them, and instead gave them embarrassing names. Why couldn't he do something similar to these slave kidnappers. Just demand compensation plus interest by the queens orders. Also if he was serious about supplying the slavers with more slaves why didn't Raphtalia speak up about how Naoufumi shouldn't do that. She knows what its like being a slave and this moment could further develop her character of being Naoufumi's right hand man. Always guiding him to make the best/moral decisions. You know slavery is bad and it shouldn't be supported. I've seen other replies to your comment and I gotta say people hate legitimate criticism its ridiculous. |
