| Certainly going in an interesting direction story-wise. I have no idea where this show will go now that the MC is being chased by the government, but I would assume it blows over and she ends up joining the club. The visuals still look great. The editing can be a little off sometimes and I’m not referring to the Shaftian style. |
| Yo, that OP looked and sounded amazing. Great episode! Liked it even more than the first episode which was great as well. Was wondering why some dudes were chasing out, but towards the end it made a lot of sense. She was witness to some government fuckery, I wonder why they only started chasing her now though. Never would have expected the star she was looking for to actually be a satellite. Ah yes, can't have a NISIO work without a lolicon lmao. I wonder how they're going to deal with the government though. Jesus Christ, Mayumi in disguise though. And we also got Hatsune Miku over here. Godbless the producers who chose Sakamoto Maaya to voice Mayumi. If I close my eyes I can hear Shinobu again. Really looking forward to the next episode. Is that hot chick at the end Nagahiro lmao, please no. |

| I wasn't completely sold on the first episode, but this second episode Shaft went absolutely nuts and a lot of Monogatari-style-directing nostalgia hit me like a truck. Nio Ishin's wordplay and dialogue is so good too, super happy with how the series is turning out. Can't wait for more! |

| Every frame of this anime is just stunning to look at, and the story and dialogue are so quintessentially SHAFT in their weirdness that watching this anime is a surreal experience. Even if the story because absurd, it will be beautifully absurd. |

| That OP, I was vibing with it till the end. Really, she wanted to tell the police about something she saw when she was 4. How can this be your first thought. One would just be like “OHH °Д°” after learning that truth and take their time to process... I'm sure those stalker like people are a completely different case because them being after her because of that 10 years old incident wouldn't make sense. Even if it was true, taking out someone who is clearly a harmless commoner still wouldn't make sense. Anyway, I liked their word play in this episode too. |

There is also eleven novels in Bishounen, so if SHAFT decides to adapt all of it, we'll probably be seeing a long series. The Kubikiri Cycle adaptation wasn't that great, but I have high hopes for this one. Shaft generally gets the job done. oh that's good to know |

| Uwah. Crossdressing Mayumi is a good look for her. Crossdressing Soutouin is a good look for him as well. Very Hatsune Miku. I'm not really into crossdressing as a trope but it can be pretty nifty. I never would have guessed the star she saw was actually a military satellite that was nuked out of the sky. Now she's being chased by the government?? Interesting turn. This show is pretty and stylistic af. I love aesthetic and this delivers. Opening? Slaps! Boys? Pretty! That being said, the lolicon pedo stuff is gross, and how can any of the characters be husbando material if they're in middle school? I'm still gonna stick with it, I mean, I can't miss out on visuals like this. I'm not really getting a romance vibe from this show at all. Is this really a reverse harem? I don't care really either way but it's getting referred to as one despite no prominent romance. |

| Shocking turn of events with the Mayumi's 'star' turning out to be a secret military satellite thats been nuked with people going after her for witnessing that. Even more suprising is Nagahiro already having a (damn loli) fiancée. Gotta say 'trap' Mayumi and 'Hatsune Miku' Manabu look cute together. |
