| Another great episode. Really felt bad seeing Erina's past with her father and knowing the things he did to her. Azami deserves worst father of the year award imo. It was nice that Alice and Hisako wanted to have Erina stay away from her dad, she has such good friends. As usual Soma isnt gonna give up even with the changes that will happen to Totsuki. Very excited for the next episode. |

| Hmm...the pacing has been going a bit faster lately as I noticed some more scenes from the manga were missing. Anyways, the anime finally shows that scumbag, Azami is responsible for what caused Erina to act like how she was in the first season. lol Senzaemon suddenly shows up in Souma's room and flexing his muscles. Great interaction between those two as the former explains Erina's background to him. Grandpa Nakiri looks satisfied enough with Souma's answer by wanting to make Erina say his cooking is "delicious" as he interpreted it as Souma's way to save her. Nice to see the Polar Star Dorm Members getting emotional after hearing what happened to Erina and gives her a warm welcome especially with Yoshino already calling her "Erina-cchi". The beginning of Souma x Erina development has finally started in the anime. Great episode, so looking forward for next week. |

| Azami really is a piece of shit, doing that kind of stuff to his own daughter. Now we know how Erina came to develop the God Tongue and why she acts the way she does when it comes to food. That escape scene with Alice and everyone else was funny lol. After seeing what Erina went through in her childhood, it's nice to see her receive a warm welcome at the dormitory. She already seems to be fitting in well. I'm not liking the reaction to Azami's idea of a "utopia" that we saw at the end, so I'm expecting even more bad news that will make me hate him more. |

I can now understand why Erina disliked every dish she tries and why the coldness towards everyone that wants to be a better chef :/ I hope Souma can show her how good he became and free her from the cage that her father created. Azami's a monster and he made me like Erina now >_> |

| Azami continues to dominate for the reward of "Worst father in anime 2017". His grip on Totsuki has now just begun and I'm sure that anime-only viewers here will hate him more as the arc goes on. Seeing Erina's past with her laughing with Alice was undeniably cute, but after Azami appeared, things got a whole lot more uncomfortable and tense. Poor Erina got brainwashed in that small, dark room, constantly tasting food and binning dishes that weren't up to Azami's expectations. So thank goodness that Alice, Hisako and Ryo got Erina to run away and take refuge in the Polaris Dormatory. The next part of this arc should be great if J.C Staff adapts it well, so I'm looking forward to it. =) |

| This episode was so sad and cute at the same time. It was really nice to see everyone helping Erina, and she's even starting to see Jouichirou in Souma :) I know this arc only just started, but this settles it in my mind that Erina is definitively best girl! |

| This is probably the most ive given a shit about the series past just being fun, cliche sure, but i really could care less as long as its entertaining and more importantly feels like we are getting some actual depth given to some of the cast which i felt the show was seriously lacking in past its initial dozen episodes. might want to spoiler that, kind of a dickish move to spoil manga only stuff, anyhow its probably really soon, i doubt it will take past this seasons first cour. |

And they even referenced it in this episode that she's starting to realize it. I made no reference to how she finds out (not that it would be much more of a spoiler since it's irrelevant). | This episode was so slow. All it talked about was Erina's escape plan. I wonder if Jouichirou will be more in this plot line. |

| Seeing more of Erina's past made me sad, explains her behavior a lot. Starting to like Erina a lot more. Looking forward to more development in her character. But Megumi is still best girl though! |

| I still can't get over the fact the a bunch of high school kids overthrew their fucking school director but I really like this episode especially Irina's backstory. It's real folks, most of the time assholes are assholes because they weren't raised properly by their parents or they were raised that way. I see or hear and annoying fucking kid in the church or in the cinema and I just think their parants are horrible at parenting lol like bunch of white parents going "you're grounded go up to you room and think about what you've done" lol it's like a teacher saying "alright here's the lesson study it yourselves, quiz tommorow". |

| I have to say that this season has me just as much on edge as the first one. The biggest thing for me is the fact that they are diving head first into character development. We are starting to see who is who and how their lives were before. if I were to have guessed that Erina ha a difficult childhood like she did just by watching Season 1 I could have never said that. It is these types of episodes that get my blood boiling I want to know more. I want to see how certain characters will react. I have to say I cracked up laughing when I read the English sub " Don't be a Pussy" There was an instant gratification of comic relief. I have to say that the episode flowed extremely well and I can't wait to see the next one. |
