This is one of the episodes that was altered, cut and edited in so many different ways. I believe there are at least 4 different versions.

One version, is bulma asks for the dragonball. Roshi says i need a present in return and he asks her to be his gf and go on a date with him around the beach. She agree's. The turtle asks him if he has if he is still picking up girls. Then the scene skips to the next.

The other version is roshi appears and bulma notices the dragonball around his neck. She gets down on her hands and knees and begs. Roshi gives her the ball and then it moves onto the next scene with the ninbus. This i beileve was the complete edited version for tv.

Then there is the version is not seen often, which the uncut version. Where bulma notices the dragonball again around his neck and he asks for a favor in return to see bulma's panties. So she lifts up her skirt a few times. Roshi gets a nose bleed and gives her the ball.

Then there is a Japanese release cut which i only believe is in the original subbed edition. It appeared later in movie 4 though.

But it shows goku get up out of bed, walks into bulma's room stairs at her crotch, thinks, its a pillow and wonders why she has no balls and tries to check and pulls her panties down. Then it goes to the next scene.

Where when bullma lifts her skirt, she notices she isn't wearing any panties at all, gets complety flusehd. Roshi gets a nose bleed. Slightly different then the previous version.

So many alterations in this episodes its just crazy.

These are the two different alterations in the skirt lifting scene.

One is she lifts her skirt a few times. the camera doesn't show any nudity though. The uncut version is she lifts her skirt once and you see a camera view side of her ass.
