What is this madness - they actually timed the 'You can smile again' perfectly this time? I definitely did after seeing Gotoh again. In general, nice to see a lot of old faces again. Leorio, Canary, Gotoh in the opening, Hisoka and Illumi as well, and let's not get into who appeared at the election. Even though I do know what happens in this arc, or maybe precisely because I know, I'm hyped as hell for the next episodes. |
| The op is full of feels... damn! The ed is is nice, but not as good as the op (and let's not forget that completely depressing group photo at the end). Pariston seemed less fabulous than in the manga, but that might change over the next few eps. | The visuals in the new OP is awesome. I'm used to Departure at this point. I actually like the ending and glad they are doing the second verse. Can't wait to see Leorio and Kurapika again and see what they have been doing. Why didn't Netero call the Zodiacs to help fight the Ants? Pariston is suspicious. Ging is interesting. He is very smart and anticipated the entire meeting but didn't expect to be unable to see the names of the people in the ballet. I want to know more about him. He doesn't go visit his son but is sure that Gon isn't going to die. HISOKAAA. I missed the crazy bastard. Did he give the 95 to Illumi or someone else? He's wearing Chrollo's earring and he didn't even know about the Chimera Ant situation. I love how worried he got when he heard Gon was going to die. |

| Really fun episode :D Ofc the OP is the same. Loved the new opening sequence though :D Didn't expect Hyori Ittai v2 for the ED but it was pretty nice too ^^; First half was funny with how all the Zodiac's hater Partison and Ging XD Ging was so friggin BA!!!! He predicted every single detail that will happen XD LIKE A BOSS!! Lol'd at how he wasn't allowed to see the results XD Such a fun spoiler u are Beans <_< XD AND HISOKA!!! I missed him so much :D So hilarious as usual XD Rating the hunters. Who would think that fatso would be 90 XD Loved his interactions with Illumi asking him to be his manager XD So it's because he doesn't watch the news that he didn't know about the Ants :( Too bad. He would've had the fun of a life time against them XD And his reaction to Gon and Killua's situation was nice to see. Now that caught his interest ^^ Nxt ep IS HYPE!!! | I know a lot of people get sick of Departure but I never get tired of hearing it lol. I don't mind the ED being simple, I still rather enjoyed it. Can't wait to see more Killua and Leorio! |

| Opening video is nice. Departure is just a given with HxH :) Hope they will not keep it if the anime continues after a few years when the manga wraps up. PV change?! That's both unexpected and unneeded I think. After the most dense and dark atmospher is over, why change it? Saa na... HISOKA! I love you dude. Missed you for real. And for the ending; I think it's nice that they kept it simple. Hyouri Ittai continuation suits that video. The main 4, looking for the future, what it holds, this is the HxH I love after all. Thanks a lot Madhouse. Pariston's chin is annoying btw ._. |

| I'm glad we're finally passed the CA arc, things look to be returning to normal... by which I mean the narration for the episode was only in the necessary parts of the episode and the characters actually got to do things without a narrator interrupting them. Loved the new OP. Really looking forward to seeing this arc, as well. Some epic Leorio moments ahead! |

| Pretty good episode, really cool to see Illumi and Hisoka again. I'll be honest, at the point where we are at I didn't really care much for Pariston but he gets pretty interesting as the arc goes on. As for Ging, it's just kind of surreal to see this guy that has been hyped up throughout the entire series in the flesh. I like how he manipulated the vote, btw. Also, it was nice to see a few familiar faces like Bisky, Wing, Menchi, and so on. The next episode should be really good, though. It'll be interesting to see how people take to the "other sibling". |

Now as for why NTV did not to change the opening, people have already speculated that the opening can be a homage for Yu Yu Hakusho or other older shows (plus, HxH is technically an older manga so they might just want to keep it old school). |
| All the cameos I love it! Great episode this week. The Zodiacs look pretty interesting especially that Pariston fellow. I'm not to surprised they didn't change the opening but at least looks cool. The ending was also nice as well. |

But Nippon TV (the network) won't let them to change the OP because of some agreement with the sponsor (VAP - music label). People asked me for the source, I'm not going to provide it because I'm not going to search post by post for the past year to look for the link of that one post that most of you guys can't read anyway. (Plus you need to have a Weibo account in order to read the post). And I get accused by haters calling me full of shit. So take it or leave it. Most people (chinese fans in the Baidu forum) know about this as they followed the animator's weibo, so it's commonly accepted there as the unofficial explanation on why the OP was never changed. If it's really important to you to find prove of this, This is the link to the animator's weibo and you can go sign up an account and ask her yourself. http://weibo.com/niuya123 (yes she did the art work of the Chimera Ant Arc ED Killua that's on her banner, and she mention in the 01:16 posting that she worked on the upcoming episode 138 and 139 as well, an the screengrab of the OP are the frames she drew art for.).
