| That aoba scene with him glancing to the side(viewer) was great, and his outfit never gets old to see, if only the yellow socks could be traded for something else, and his laugh is too good. Rhyme was a good part with how it moved and felt like an actual game in there. How they jumped around, flew and dodged. OST is also pretty strong with tons of great tracks. Great debut for its anime version of the bl game. |

| Everyone is saying how beautiful the animation is but in my opinion it sucks big time. It's no wonder Koujaku is not that popular anymore, seeing how ugly he is. Even though I obviously didn't expect Honyarara's art, I never thought the animation would end up being so bad. I don't think they should have changed what happens in the prologue. There's no BL there whatsoever, so I see no reason to include different scenes. It was unnecessary. Plus, for people who haven't played the game this episode must be really confusing because everything happens so fast. In the end this will be a failure like Togainu no Chi. |
| I really think that this anime would only appeal to fans of the game. If I hadn't already played the VN and really love it, then I don't know what the appeal of this show would be. The opening was so gosh darn campy that I could have mistaken it for a fan made video. The animation near the beginning of the episode, when they panned around the city, was choppy (limited frame rate). However, the Rhyme battle was really great and showed off a lot more Rhyme than we got to see in the VN. I also loved that they chose to include the scene with Koujaku and Aoba as kids. Overall, it's not great, but as a huge fan of the VN I will definitely keep watching just so I can see my favorite boys every week. Kouao <3 |

| This made me....laugh?? Which I wasn't expecting. The opening was so cheesy!! Also as someone else in the comments mentioned, the beginning was so choppy...Honestly I never finished the VN of this but from the good chunk I played this seemed to be pretty lame. Hopefully it picks up! |

| I have no words to describe how bad this was. Of course, I was expecting it to be a failure but not to this extent. First of all, the art is disgusting. How come everyone looks like a retard and Ren, whose tongue is out all the time for unknown reasons, takes part in the "first scene". He only good-looking one is Clear, simply because he is still wearing the gas mask. I'll skip on how they unnecessarily add new people (i.e the X-mas guys had 2 additions, one of which yellow.... they are not Christmas guys anymore). But please, why did you change Mink's scene?! I want to strangle those who came up with the idea of Aoba bumping into him. It was bad, guys, really bad. But what was the worst was the voice acting here. I can't believe it. I just can't. The only people who somehow sounded like themselves were Mizuki, Dark Aoba and Yoshie. And that lame joke Aoba said to his grandmother. Oh, God, why?! Why add this? And yeah, Aoba takes off his jacket to eat supper and then puts it back on to just climb to the second floor? Like, wtf? Rhyme was also poorly made. Usui with the male voice, like, seriously? Wasn't that some kind of announcer, wasn't Usui just a judge? And Noiz.... that wasn't Noiz. Also Aoba flying there like he owns the place and Ren who doesn't even bother protecting him. Yeah, this works perfectly. Just... I'm speechless. I just wonder whether to laugh at the poor excuse of anime, or to be terrified by what more they can ruin. |

| It wasn't too bad, in my opinion. I loved how they showed members of Dry Juice telling Mizuki they were leaving (for Rhyme), it gives you a better grip of the situation as they didn't really show people leaving in the game. It may be an unpopular opinion, but after having watched the first episode, I can now say that I don't think the not-twins look too bad, especially when you get a close-up. All in all, I enjoyed it and I'm super excited for what's next. So glad GOATBED produced the music for the anime as well! |

| Still felt quite video gamey at parts just like Danganronpa and such as of late. Best way to describe that feeling is a sense of emptiness/void as some scenes play out. GOATBED openings are just NOPE. The fucking ~twins~ though. I'll keep watching for Noiz and Clear though because that's where it's at for me. That last Rhyme bit was not enough. |

FYI, this game has very few sex scenes (in comparison to other BL games that are flooded with such). For four out of five of the characters it happened only once throughout the whole route and it was at the very end. So I also think that this anime would just keep the undertones and would exclude all the "spicy" scenes. |

| There's some yaoi undertones in this show. I like the OST especially during the "Rhyme" matches. Wait, so Ren can be a badass online character from a speaking dog? Cool! Why does Aoba have so much connections with these gang/team leaders and stuff? Also, that young Aoba who looks like a girl -- XD Really looks like a girl! |

| I only played half of the DRAMAtical Murder game, so far I think it's doing really well. I obviously didn't expect it to be exact but I was a little disappointed that they didn't show how much of a /stud/ Koujaku is. It's okay though. I have high hopes for this anime. If you didn't play the game then obviously you'll find it a bit confusing about Rhyme and Rib but it'll most likely become clearer throughout the anime. |
| goatbed music~ im not gonna expect any yaoi moment for now, dont wanna get my hopes up im hoping for atleast some borderline shounen ai moments (or at least something like free!) pretty good first episode wasnt excellent, but wasnt horrible art is decent (cant expect it to be too good) a bit different then the original story ren looks smaller...and less fluffly...then i imagined him to be... :( i was also expecting more fangirls for kojaku too =3= can't wait for the next episode~ |

| Not bad so far. I like the plot and technology. | idk why people are complaining about the anime, since we weren't expecting that much since the beginning? (me, at least) I really liked the art, it seems better than in the PV, I also liked the way they did the story and the memories of Koujaku and Aoba were something unexpected to me (i really liked little Aoba in the anime) it just showed that even maybe doing the True End they will put some of the characters stories in the anime, which is good. idk, in my opinion was good, not amazing but wasn't garbage too. Let's just hope they don't turn this into a TnC in the next episodes... The only thing I wonder is: will we see Clear without his mask? That's all I want to see! |

| That was almost disappointing. The animation was decent and it was cool seeing it in animation form, but I feel like fans of the VN will be greatly disappointed. And people who are jumping in for the first time... wow, do I feel bad. There is a lot of information being thrown in at this point so it is probably really overwhelming for some. Another thing... some aspects are changed, like with the game download. It seems a lot more insignificant than it really is... in the game, you're kind of forced to look at it, but in the anime they play it out in about 5 seconds. Gone and forgotten. Well, I'm still keeping this, just because I have to see how the anime will adapt, but I'm not expecting much. |

As for the episode itself.. animation is not particularly good or bad, some derp faces here and there.. I think the OP/ED animations were extremely underwhelming, possibly even boring. The songs were fine on their own but they're not really exciting as theme songs. Overall I think the episode was okay, but definitely not great. It's actually not as bad as I thought it would be. XD The pacing is kinda weird, though. But eh, I enjoyed it. |

| Not that it's any big achievement, but I guess they aren't screwing up the common route too badly so far. I can only imagine the anime getting messier as it goes on... People here jumping ship because it's based on a yaoi game, though... not that you'll be missing out on anime of the year or anything, but y'all need to broaden your horizons a bit. |

It just wasn't very obvious it was coming out of Usui since it's not like his/her avatar has a speaking icon. Also technically Usui would be male, due to... uh...spoilers. xD |
Ooh and about Ren! His tongue is always sticking out like that actually, except in his 'angry' sprite. It's pretty cute.. was actually kinda happy they included that detail.  |

But if Aoba ends up with someone and it's not Clear I shall be so pissed How many episodes is it going to be though? 24 or 12? I thought it was going to be 12 but Myanimelist is making me uncertain by not having numbers. Hopefully we will all get some A*** yaoi by the end though |
| I think "that cute detail" looks plain weird. Also, his tongue doesn't stick out all the time. And yeah, since I'm tired of being quoted, I'll just say I might have missed Aoba's little remark on Usui's voice, since in Japanese every word has dozens of meanings. English patches are alright for those who have no other option but to have someone else translate for them and I'm really sorry for you. |
