| This episode kinda cleared up the past arcs a bit. Damn things are really diring for Rika. Hope she plays her cards right. Also was the sword stolen by Takano during her visit to the storehouse during the past arc? |

| Damn a full episode of new content, now this is what I’m talking about! Best episode so far, and it really caters to the old time fans... I really can’t complain. So Rika is giving herself 5 more loops, before her mind breaks and she chooses to die. Such a sad fate for Rika, I’ve always felt bad for her ever since Rei. Let’s see how Keiichi will save the day this time! Hopefully it’s all new content from this point on. |

| Damn, what a sad start of the episode. I wish he just went there and killed them I feel so bad for Rika now, 100 years, that's straight insane. I guess at least she gave herself 5 more loops. |

| Rika needs someone who understands/knows her situation well, and only Hanyuu can do that. Now she's all alone. Rika may have friends but they were oblivious to what Rika's been going through. |

| That was the wildest episode yet, it really felt HIGURASHI. Not only terrifying and horrific but my heart hurt so much for Rika and the loss of all that happiness. Really brutal all around |

| Ooishi: suspecting that Rika was the culprit behind all the killings in Hinamizawa. Also Ooishi: brutally murdered bunch of people. I wonder how much bullet that revolver has because I didn't see any reload. |

| I was shocked by the episode intro. I thought this episode would purely be a new arc. Ooishi's rampage is so brutal, far brutal than any other killings in the previous stories. Finally the holy sword, Onigari no Ryuuou made its appearance, even if it's only a small shard left of it. It's a desperate gift from Hanyuu. I don't know if it appeared or was mentioned in Higurashi Kai, but it was explained in the visual novel ending. I just wish Rika would never use it. I cried a lot in this episode. |

| Interesting. So Rika is the true protagonist instead of Keiichi. Since she can have memories from beyond her death now, she can properly guide Keiichi in triggering the correct flags. The curse is the true enemy, everything else is just noise I think. So this is a sequel. I vaguely remember that bad route with Mion going on a rampage from S1. Poor Rika, they only achieved a false good end back in S1. They missed a correct flag to trigger back then. I wonder what if a sociopath like me became a time looper like Rika... I'll probably enjoy it a lot. In my story I'll be the true enemy. hehe Hanyuu is so much cuter in new animation. |
| didn't expect that we'd pick up from the previous episode... and of course move onto another loop poor rika-chan... she's so strong for still willing to try even after she thought it was all over... We still don't know why, but for some reason she's back to "looping", 5 years after the "future"/ending in kai/rei... ffs this better have a good ending otherwise I won't ever forgive this for ruining the conclusion of kai... |
