From what I saw, it failed to raise moral dilemmas, or to question the motivations of the MC. It was Light: "hey I'm fascist and I got this notebook, let's use it to kill people" Anime: "ok" Plus anime that try to portray X or Y character as geniuses always fail miserably from what I've seen. I'll probably finish it one day if I run out of elitist animes and dumb ecchis, but not now. A similar concept was used in a (I think) K Dick's story where the most powerful human being died every day. Good read, if you manage to find it. |

So I know that the first episode is indicative of the show as a whole - a vile mix of physics-violating monsters, gore and bad parts of "realism". |
