| Why is the USA so slow when it comes to counting election votes? In the UK we have lots of people on the floor going through all the votes. We get a result within a day or so. Over a week and there is still counting to be done in the USA. Even without the asinine Trump tantrum. |

It depends on the states but overall its due to Covid right now. | To add to what Hazarddex wrote, for states that were French colonies and therefore mostly full of French peoples, French at that time were a mix of Gaul tribes, Germanic (Frank) tribes, Nordic tribes, english tribes and Roman empire descendants. So they were already at best mixed blood, certainly not from the same ethnic group at 100%. |
