| Wasn't expecting the emotion in that episode, think part of it came from being reminded of Clannad tho. |

| I didn't expect Lucky Star to be able to pull off a dramatic scene, I'm pleasantly surprised. However, I don't know if this kind of supernatural stuff fits in a series whose strength lies in the fact that nothing out of the ordinary ever happens. |

| I really loved the Kanata scene, the drama didn't feel out of place and it's overall heartwarming and kinda sad. |
I could watch Yutaka listen to music all day. Heck I already am! That scene with the Izumi family was so heartwarming and lovely. It kept the usual Lucky Star pace which is what made it all the more sweet. I really didn't expect something like this which is what made it all the more profound. Gotta love Minoru's EDs. A karaoke jam! |

| I'm glad we finally got to know something about Konata's family. So, her dad isn't exactly Father of the Year (that pedo part was a bit off), but the whole story with Kanata was so touching. Apparently she got very ill while Konata was still a baby and died shortly after. And like someone above said, too bad the whole show isn't like this episode. |

| that Clannad feeling, I remember why I liked it so much. I got completely thrown off guard with the feels, almost in tears, or lots of them, (I forgot). It was nice to have some background with Konata and her parents, it was really sad but great, then the ending with Shirashi helped to laugh it off, as usual. (he did great in my opinion) |

| Oh man I wasn't expecting Luck Star to hit me in the feels. I almost wished they closed out the ep with that scene and skipped Lucky Channel/live action nonsense completely. |
| The feeeels are too strong with this episode!!! What a superb show, definitely one of my favourites now . How the show switches from comedy to feels and then back to comedy is such a joy to watch. I could really tell how much fun the staff had making this anime(ie. Shiraishi segments, the seiyuu cameos)...It feels like such a passion project. Really impressed! |

| Damn subs should've kept it as "lolicon," especially after Konata's father showed why there's gray area to be found there. That recollection of Konata's mother was really really sweet though, even coming around to see how they're doing. Honestly got me choked up. |

| hah much time was passed from this reference. Finally we're can see LEVATEIN! So much series connected with LS is still going or incopletelly, on freeze... About ep scene i find this impotant lore of Konata this like episodes making charcters alive, much show heroes no have parents, familys, no backstory, so i love how much Izumy family connected they are can discuss much what in classical family classifield or just ignored, they know what who love in really delicate details this heart opened family is really rare, also remind to be understanding to other tastes, hobbys. |

| Ah, what a wonderful episode. We finally got to see Kanata. That was heartwarming. I can't imagine just how sad I'd feel as Kanata. Happy that her daughter is raised with lots of love, but not being a part of it. Sad, but heartwarming. That was great. |

| Awww, wow, maybe my favourite episode. The comedy parts were very fun, the ending was really charming, but what really steals the show is the surprisingly heartwarming backstory of Sōjirō with his wife. Super cute, had a few tears shed, haha. Really wasn't expecting something like that! Which still added to the general feel of a scene of this show at the end of the scene, perfect. |
