| Is this what it means to watch an anime on light mode? Seriously though, the art style is so bright to the point where I considered turning it down from my monitor settings. Regarding the anime itself, it's cute. We have an overly optimistic boy wanting to make friends of the secluded girl who just doesn't stand up for herself. But this guy "has no clue" about the bullying and just sees her in a different light (a very bright one, might I add). Nishimura-san has not only made her first friend but also first romantic interest. And she'll have some competition as well. Good start |

| Very simple and straightforward episode. Did feel bored at times but I did find this to be more likable than other series like Takagi-san for example. The main two are nice to each other and showcase that goofy chemistry and obliviousness to reality to have fun that I do miss from when I was around that age. Not sure if it will be engaging for the whole series and if the potential is there for this series to be special, but the start isn't too bad at least. It helps that Nishimura and Takada did show some chemistry together pretty quickly while not being unlikable either. |

| i almost skipped this because the art is weak tbh but glad i didn't tho because i remembered i read some chapters from its manga like a few months ago then i remembered this will get better the more we go with it unfortunately the art will stay the same |

| Good start for this series, the interaction between the main characters is funny and wholesome, feels a bit like Takagi-san series in nature. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| I really hope he learns to use barrier magic so he doesn't get hit with a dodgeball again. he's nice to a fault but i think sometimes we need more people like that. hino seems cool too. i hope by the end we can get more friends and shinigami ends up being a term of endearment instead of a bullying thing. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
