| Wow, I was really impressed with Ruka this episode! First with Mami a few episodes back, and now with Chizuru? Seriously, I’m very much impressed with her tenacity! let me tell you, I haven’t read the manga so that’s why I’m saying this. If Ruka really does end up being Kazuya’s girlfriend permanently, I actually won’t be too surprised! Because though I was further impressed with Chizuru and the great act that she put on with Kazuya’s family, it was just that, an act. Remember, she’s an actress, and as she said herself earlier in the episode, when she can get her acting career up and running, she’s quitting the rental girlfriend business. Which means goodbye ChizuruxKazuya. And though in the first season, Ruka was quite possessive of Kazuya in the wrong way at least, this season she’s doing it the right way! I personally feel that this would be a much better relationship by the way, RukaxKazuya vs ChizuruxKazuya. Because while yes, Chizuru definitely has feelings for him, I could tell that Ruka’s feelings are much stronger. And to seal the deal, it was literally sealed with a kiss at the end! Can’t wait for the next episode! |

| Ruka is literally the female equivalent to Kazuya. The only difference is that she's way more bold. |

| I loved the combined birthday arc in the manga. It does feel like this entire season though... much lower quality than the first one was. In the manga, those moments where Ruka was being blasted out the water by Chizuru were severely reduced. It was much more dramatic in the manga. The director kind of missed the point, in my opinion. Not that it really matters now, because even after S2 the anime will still be far behind the ongoing manga release haha... |
