| An awesome episode of this awesome adaptation. Really loved this old election arc in the manga (brings back memories too!). Didn't like Miko at first, but this part (i.e. the actual election speeches) made me root for her. And Ishigami continues to be secretly kind and perceptive. Really loved this episode since it was a favourite too in the manga. They adapted it really well. And Kaguya ranting was gold lol her usual self wanting Miyuki to confess to her, and here she is comparing herself to a wife whose husband wastes all their money on gambling and prostitutes. Never can get enough of anxious, panicking Kaguya! Miko has joined the Student Council! I think they really portrayed her well. This is exactly my image of Iino Miko in the manga, and the voice is very close to what I imagined it too! Great choice for VA. |

| God these 24 mins fly by so quickly every time i swear Good guy MVP Ishigami, you are what most of us low lives can relate to and in other aspects look up to but damn actual gentlemen move with wanting Miko to at least go out with a fight and hold onto some honour instead of being a luaghing stock. | Yeah I mean they tried to bring on the sob story for Miko, but regardless her polices are still nonsense. Miyuki is just a good guy all around. Think I will be forever frustrated with Kaguyas character. |
| I didn't care about Iino last episode but now I gotta say her backstory made me feel bad for her. Really appreciate the serious portrayal her character received. Quite lovely episode this week. Miyuki winning and asking Iino to be part of the student council was rather predictable yet still a cute scene nonetheless. More importantly, I really liked how the atmosphere was handled so I absolutely wouldn't mind watching more "serious" episodes like this one. Especially if I can see more of both Ishigami and Miyuki acting like total bros. |
| I don't fucking care what the Miko haters have to say, I love her character. She's the type of character that draws me in instantly. She is serious, tries to be upright but she has her cute side. She's basically a softer, less confident version of Kaguya who has less friends. She is probably one of my favorite new characters introduced in this season aside from the gorgeous Kei, Shirogane's sister. Also, I would love to see Osaragi's eyes, I saw a cover with her and it showed a bit of her eyes and I know she's absolutely gorgeous. |

Why can't they hire at least a second-tier fansub translator instead of this mess? Example: Kaguya is having her rant in the infirmary bed, comparing herself to a wife having her husband (Shirogane) gamble her hard-earned money away, before she freaks "AND WHO IS CALLING ME A WIFE??" (well duh, she did). It had nothing to do with Shirogane calling her that. These extremely basic translation mistakes really REALLY affect my enjoyment of this otherwise epic conversion. I have to agree on this part. They have been really lacking in some important scenes. Like has there been a past between Iino and YOU. "YOU"? Like what?! | At long last, the Election mini-arc. DK why but Season 2 here continues to one-up the game A HELL LOT, 100 times better than Season 1 (not that it was bad, it was perfect.) And this episode, I'd swear it felt like 5 mins instead of 24, that's how this show continues its masterpiece content. 2nd year Miyuki Shirogane vs. 1st year Miko Iino for the position of Student Council President. This insane battle of the intellects is heating up! And it's painfully obvious how much Kaguya, Ishigami and Chika has had already a foothold over the entire school, less of their internal antics for Shirogane's 2nd term to full oblivion. But props for trying, for the perfect but indistinguishable student, a by-the-book personality that tries her best to bring her "elitism" serious issues. Nothing wrong with that, she's just trying to be righteous, no matter how much she tries to enounciate with ridiculous measures, with a loner friendship (that's supported by Osaragi). And the debate between both Shirogane and Miko, not only was it satisfying, but it was a "groundbreaking" battle of wits, the hardest she's ever tried, and *claps claps* 280 vs. 320 votes, what a close call. In the end, all is back to normal, and Kaguya...isn't getting called back to the Student Council??? You can't be forgetting her right, Miyuki??? And yes it does, with Miko being the new addition, no mistake. What an episode, I can barely catch my breath at how a masterpiece episode this was. |

| Production of the episode, for sure, top-notch but I find Miko as annoying as hell. Honestly, that kind of character, or rather a stereotype, pisses me off. A typical authoritarian figure whose only vision is 'morals' and desires people to adhere to her moralistic view. That is why I did not particularly like this episode so much. I love this series so much so that is why I sometimes get repulsed by figures of like Miko. |

| Great episode even with the serious atmosphere. Ishigami was already my favorite character in the series and he just proved why. Shirogane was also awesome in this episode helping Miko with her stage fear. The last part with Kaguya's rant was hilarious and her moment with Shirogane was very sweet. Hayasaka and Chika as usual crack me up. |

| Another excellent episode her, and a really good showcase of the show's more serious side. That bodes well for what's to come. Until then, this was adapted perfectly on all fronts and was good to see this side of Ishigami for once too. It'll be interesting to see what's adapted from this point forward, besides the arc that we're definitely on pace for. |
| I'm glad that this episode has changed a lot of people's opinions about Miko. Heck, even I did, too! ^_^; My first thought after seeing Miko doing the "write a name on you hand and eat it" gesture was that she has some sort of stage fright or something similar to it. Honestly, I wasn't expecting her issues while trying to address the students was even more severe than I thought it would be. She looks to be an only child, with only one friend to keep her company while her parents were super busy with their jobs ever since elementary school. I can't blame her for having a strong dislike to "nasty" people and that led her down the path she's gone. However, her ideals always came back to bite her as the students at the time disliked her for being too authoritarian and threatening their freedoms as students. This led to Miko constantly losing election battles time and time again, and this one was obviously going to end the same way. So, the MVP award of this episode goes to Ishigami and Shirogane. Ishigami dislikes Miko's ideals, but he has full respect for her hard work, so seeing her getting so much hatred for that pisses him off. His plan to help her worked like a charm and Shirogane's move made sure the plan was a success, which led to an intense debate with Miko finally given the courage she needed to make her claim of wanting to be the student council president. Ultimately, she still lost, but she won a new allegiance of fans who were moved by her passion and ideals. The smile she made at the end of the segment is something that needs to be protected at all costs. =3 As for Kaguya, she jumped to conclusions again, thinking she wasn't going to be part of the council this time around and her long rant about him to Hayasaka was hilarious! Either way, she had nothing to worry about as Shirogane wanted her back as vice president. Overall, this episode was awesome. Not only do we have our main four back in the student council, but Miko officially joins them, too. I'm looking forward to seeing how she gets on and what antics the rest of them might get up to in the future. XD |
| Ishigami is the one true waifu of this show, shame he barely gets any screen time, nobody respects him and gets barely any love, the only one besides Osaragi who recognized Iino's effort and passion. |
| Shirogane solidifies himself not only as best boy, but best person. Kaguya has been having a rough time this season though, I hope we get to see her play some major cards against Shirogane, and really put him in a tough spot. |

| Welp since there were alreday spoilers about who's gonna win the elction and since both Kaguya and Miyuki still beat around the bush about their god-tier shenanigans then this ep was jaz a PTW. |
| Finally the election, great that they adapted into one whole episode.. i'm glad they adapted this wonderfully, the moment, the tense, the dialog and voice acting was on point. Started with great speech from Kobachi, then Glamorous yet Strong speech from Kaguya herself. The debates between Miyuki and Miko was so intense yet entertaining, that Miko's backstory was explaining a lot why she became like that. Good giref Ishigami's kind hidden purpose that led to Miyuki's help toward Miko speeches end up in beautiful debates and intense competition. Well, OFC Miyuki's still winning the election, even with a slim victory with small differences in votes (thank's to his act on helping Miko in the speech), also hitting Kaguya's with big nervousness XD, good grief it also end up well with her when Miyuki's once against asked her to be his Vice President :D. and... not forgetting the newest member of Student Council... Welcome Miko to the new Student Council :D. Great episode, wonderful half season already. 6 episodes more to go, i wonder which chapter from manga'll be marked as the end of this 2nd season. |
Is just for me or Miko looks like Maika from Blend S?  and fun thing, remove an A from Maika and we got Mika LMAO and cute issues, smile and nervously at great public. |

| Just Miko’s whole character moment was very heartfelt. Everything about it—the music, the animation, the voice acting—was incredibly well done. Even if you can’t sympathize with Miko, this episode has some undeniably great directing and production behind it. And, of course, Ishigami holding his ground as the best character in this entire series. If not best character, then at least best girl. |
| Okay first of all tell me what the fuck is up with this anime, with every episode it just gets more and more boring to the point I barely even have any interest in the show. Todays episode was so full of fucking cliche 'epic' soy moments. Like wow, no one bloody asked about your life story, dear auth loli. You say this like you have the right to speak for all people with public speaking anxiety. Everyone is different, and as someone who also has public speaking anxiety (to the point that I horribly embarrassed myself during a class presentation by constantly laughing because I was so anxious), I feel that this is very possibly happen. She was able to focus on what's important because she directed her attention at Shirogane. When he started retorting back, it gave her the motivation to speak back. |

| Ishigami is my favorite character and this episode reinforces my idea, that detached behavior hides a kind and caring person, I hope that the rumors about him will fade soon. Miko's character has given that little bit extra to the series and something tells me she'll have a lot to share with Yu. Miyuki is also excellent in this episode, while I struggle to bear the parts dedicated to Kaguya at the moment. |
