| If this is a 4 cour anime series...well than this will be a first for me to watch anything longer than 2 cour straight before. I have been watching anime as they air for the last 3 years and it is rare for a series to get a 2 cour adaptation these days ..let alone 4 cour. I don't know about this...from what i have been reading...it looks like stuido pierot is going to make a lot of extra filler content within this series and with only 30 or so chapters released so far...i am not thinking this will go well as a 4 cour adaptation..especially given what they did with tokyo ghoul. hmm will give it a few more episodes but if i am not still sold ...i will drop it. 2.5/5 so far |

| i like this one. the episode was great imo. intense and a little bit jokes. the story was inetesting too. character design looks great imo especially those MC's eyes. action looks great, i like it a lot. Art style/animation looks damn nice, it's unique, same with Boku no Hero Academia, it has some unique art style and i enjoy it a lot. Benio is so badass imo. She is my fav character so far XD. Man, i think i'm gonna enjoy this one. looking foward for the next episode :D |

| Doesn't seem too bad, but it seems like it might end up being fairly generic if this episode is anything to go by. Hopefully it will find some real good ways to stand out later on. The song used as the ED (which I'm assuming is actually the OP) was pretty awesome though. |

| The animation is pretty good. Definitely not just any low-budget anime. Shounen elements are clearly present. I have seen many omniyouji/exorcist anime this will probably not gonna be any different. I like the action scenes though. This might become something interesting. |

| Wasn't half-bad tbh. I expected it to be quite shitty, so that's something... Solid episode and animation/art wasn't terrible. I'm impressed, Studio Pierrot. In terms of things I was told that was gonna be good and bad, this was better than Boku no Hero's first ep. |

| This was way better than expected after that confession scene at the beginning. Now just get rid of his weird teeth and it'll be even better. Seriously. Right now this is the only complaint I got. Why did the creator have to give him saw teeth D: Ah, well, I'm going to get used to it. Can't say I'm happy about it though. |
| I'm hooked, a great first episode and a somewhat interesting artstyle. 4 cour!? Σ(OロO') well then... this could get interesting. The animation was pretty good too, but that's pierrot for you, I hope they'll keep that up. |

| Stopped reading the manga halfway through when it started to get a little boring, but when I started hearing Wagakki Band playing....I was instantly sold. Will definitely watch the rest, if not solely for the music. |

| This was actually pretty well adapted, the beginning was anime only but it flow into the real story really well, the only complaint I have is the animal voice during the train, I still have no idea what it is and it seriously look stupid since there is none of that in the manga... |

| I can't believe some people are complaining about the art and animation. That was absolutely gorgeous. Everything else (characters, story/plot, jokes) were mediocre at best, unfortunately. However, if the art remains this good, count me in! |

| Not a bad start. The animation was good enough to remind me of how it was in the manga. Benio snarling at Rokuro was hilarious. I'm looking forward to their interactions after the big reveal next episode. As someone mentioned above though, things are progressing pretty slowly. Here's hoping that we get 24 episodes, or else they're gonna have to rush a lot of stuff. |

| Pretty good stuff, not incredible, just good. No qualms with it, kind of generic tragic shounen protagonist stuff going on but could be interesting even though it's Pierrot. The OST was really good and the opening sounded like something out of Naruto. |

| As soon as the MC ran into the girl's boobs, I knew that this was not going to be anything to break the mold......and so far we have a reluctant MC and a sullen rival girl.....toss in some magical powers and let the abrasive courtship begin. 3/5 |

| Maybe it's because I had low expectations and remembered feeling meh after I read the first volume (plus Pierrot is usually miss than hit), but I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. And maybe it's also cuz I like Hanaecchi. It does feel like your average battle shounen, but it's not necessarily a bad thing if you like your battle shounen this way. It might be generic (so far), but it was a nice watch, and the way the first episode played out feels sort of nostalgic. Not saying it's the best thing ever, or the best first episode in this season so far, but it was entertaining even if it wasn't super exciting. And I agree with some people here...I liked it more than Boku Hero. |
