| It has potential. Good art, great soundtrack, interesting world but the edgy MC is a huge turn off. I have a bad feeling it'll go downhill really badly about midway through. |

| This is cliche/generic?? Come on guys, suck it up.. Everything nowadays is overused, plus this anime has a great start with a badass MC that has a cold personality, but really wants somebody to help him out. This anime season has been great so far. I believe this will be one of those anime that I will look forward to each week. Also, I get the feeling that Arthur is the Antagonist in this series |

| This anime peek my interesting, this is the first time I've seen the main character's backstory in the very first episode instead later in the series. So far I like three characters Aoto, Akane, and Midori and right now Akane is my favorite. My 2016 anime winter season is off to a good start. |

I enjoy all art styles but eh, art is all just opinion. Like how this site has a lot of butthurt opinions. That aside, this fucking cast tho. This fucking cast. GG. | I didn't quite get some of what was going on in this first episode, I felt there was a few too many cuts to different things happening and it made it somewhat hard to keep track of, especially when they all of a sudden dumped on us that the divine gate had been opened at the end. However this anime still seems really intriguing. Especially Aoto; I feel like there will a ton of character development on him Opening is cool. |

| The main character is way too edgy for me. Between that and the age of the protagonists, I feel like this show is aimed at the whole chunnibyou demographic. Still, the world is really interesting, and I actually like the art style. |

| Pretty decent for a first episode. I think this series has a lot of potential, I hope it goes well *crosses fingers* Especially since this is the series I had the highest hopes for this season... I'm not sure how I feel about the descriptions because they were a little melodramatic, but I still liked the opening of the episode. I'm interested to learn more about Aoto. He seems a little apart from the stereotypical main character. I also think I could grow to like Akane and the green-haired girl (can't remember her name), I just hope they get development. Animation felt a bit off at parts, but overall I like the art style. The voices of the special advisers (at least, that's what I think they're called) are kind of annoying though... =_= |

| Like the art style, yes, a bit of melodrama, didn't give me too much to process, was interested more in the other characters and the fairies rather than the mc tbh, will give the 2nd ep a go atleast. |

| Nice visuals for this first episode. The battles and the animation seems beautiful, but the story is very confused :/. For the moment, I like Aoto. He is mysterious and I want to know more about his past. |

| well, tbh it was a pretty good first episode. not many action, yet it was a little bit confusing, but it was interesting imo. i want to know more about his past, and the divine gate too. hope for a great action, and that op in the end though, that was actually a good song :D. when i saw his past, i thought he killed his parent because of jelousy, but it was a little bit wrong. my reaction like "are you kidding me dude? killing your parent because of jelousy? but after i saw him treated like that, i take back my word, and i can't blame him for killing his own parent. that was a cruel past indeed. |
