| First, let me get this out of the way. This is not a the same as the 'best show of the year' threads. This applies to any show you watched in 2012. Whether it be the newest moe show from 2012 or a surreal movie from the 1970s. For me, I'd have to say Madoka Magica. I only found out about the show when I watched the livestream of the first episode's English dub. After reading some rave reviews, I downloaded the fansub (Morning Rescue included) and watched the series on a sick day. And, no I didn't like it because it was dark. I liked it because it was deep, thought provoking, well written, brilliantly paced and almost flawlessly executed on every single level. Inb4 Inferno Cop. |

| show in general: gintama no doubt, Once you pass that initial bad start you get a pay off so huge you wont even remember how hard it was to get through the first 20-30 episodes, hilarious coemdy, beautiful drama, amazing action scenes, more references than you can handle, a loveable cast, it just has about everything. Show made in 2012: kids on the slope, no doubt, it tugs at your heratstrings like no other will and i swear its impossible to watch this show and not come out loving jazz |

| well in 2012 I watched more anime shows then I ever did in any other years probably because of MAL but I've watched a lot of great shows Steins Gate,Kuroko no Basuke,Zetsuen no Tempest,Btooom I guess since I liked battle royale,Mirai Nikki,Jigoku Shoujo,Durarara,Fate Zero,Bake/Nisemonogatari,and more but can't remember all the good ones |
