| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I love it when we have romance themed episodes! Even though, it always has a "sad" ending for the yokai. I wonder if Natsume has started to think of his own mortal future? Also we finally see another flashback of Reiko! I've been missing those since they didn't appear much during the 3rd season. Going by the preview, I'm guessing that we'll see Natsume when he was in middle school. |

| SOOOOO SWEEET! ah gosh i want to cry xD That youkai is so sweet :') And that letter was so beautiful even though I wasn't expecting that. Not the best episode, but a very cute and warm episode! Got the tingles that I usually do in a Natsume Yuujinchou episode. :D 5/5 Oh, and I haven't thought about this before, but Reiko was really beautiful :) |

| That was one of my favorite stories in the entire Natsume Yuujinchou series :) Hearing Ginko again was just great. Very beautiful episode. |
| A sad but beautiful story. It was very nice indeed to watch this episode such a strong story and very romantic. Still i do wonder what happened to the girl after that tho but we will probably never know which makes the story even better. |

| A simple, yet very powerful story. It was a treat to see Reiko again, even if only for a brief moment. |

| I'm not the biggest fan of this show but this episode was really good. Easily the best this season so far. |

He looks more manly and older, like when he's running in the house and after, giving the youkai's name, you can notice the little differences. I like it, Natsume is slowing growing and maturing. ❤ This episode was so sad! I ended this almost in tears. My heart always melt when the episodes involve past youkaiXhuman stories, because the time passes in different speed for both and the youkai always says he remembers clearly while the human died a long time ago... ;A; |

| I hadn't cried at a Natsume episode yet this season, but that's all over now. The tears started when the paper was restored, and then doubled when it was revealed that the youkai couldn't even read the letter he went to so much trouble over. As has been said by others in the forum, when an immortal falls in love with a mortal it usually ends in sadness. We can only hope that the girl thanked him because it allowed her to move forward and have a happy life with their conversations as a good memory... |

| Warm tears were shed ;__; God, I love these melancholic romance stories in Natsume to death – they just break my heart and glue it back at the same time. Yobiko’s such a nice youkai. He merely wanted Youko to smile and be happy. Karikami’s powers are amazing. Their faces, lol. Ah, Reiko flashback! It’s been quite a while since we’ve got one of those. The ED theme suited the finale to a tee, it flowed smoothly. |
