| Oh Akiteru, his life is anything but peace and quiet with Iroha around. I remember when this got first announced for adaptation and it's been a long time since was scheduled to air. Regardless, Iroha has the personality like you'd expect. Very energetic and airheaded, the opposite of Mashiro. They introduced the main cast for now but I'm seeing a mix of humor and drama all over the place. The personality clash between Akiteru and Iroha is amusing, probably will be a constant recurring gag. OP song has some game elements but mostly feature the three main cast. Very catchy though. |

| Please tell me this author doesn’t have a sister, a stepsister, or anyone he can even vaguely call a sister, because now he has two animes about sisters... and this one is WAY more risqué than the last. Well, I mean, Days with My Stepsister actually had some substance and a meaningful message... this though? As barebones a romance as you can get. Girl with big... assets for fanservice? Check. Girl who teases on top of that? Check. Main guy who calls himself “ordinary”? And... check. Main girl here doesn’t look like the only one out of whack though. This sensei, although we saw very little of her, already shows she’s... well, not your typical sensei you'd find in these type of show. She literally calls her students “pigs”, great stuff. Then comes back everyone’s favorite annoyance to ruin our poor ordinary guy’s life.... by screaming to the class that they’re dating and, oh yeah, did the deed~~ last night. Anyways, something something, he and his friends are like game devs or whatever, and his uncle, who works for a big company, is thinking about making a contract with them... on one small condition: having to play a pretend relationship with this girl he knew in the past. I mean, sure, whatever, I won’t even question it, dude, I don’t care. Danjoru obviously wasn’t enough romance slop this year, so here’s more to end the year, great. |

| Novelist Ghost Mikawa's 2nd adaptation after the very popular Gimai Seikatsu, this just reeks of siscon shows of the early 2010s... Akiteru Ooboshi's relationship with his best friend's sister, Iroha Kohinata sure does have all of the hallmarks of a girlfriend alright. And when this is brought to school, Kohinata sure brings her Onee-chan energy into it, suppressing the guys in his class. As if that's not enough, the request from his uncle to take in a "girlfriend" role with Mashiro Tsukinomori, she doesn't seem adamant with her Tsundere style of affection towards him. So then, begins quite the affliction of pressure put on Akiteru, for the fate that's put on his hands. This Imouto-esque series does seem cliche, but how would a well-respected author like Ghost Mikawa turn this into not the stale cliche that we're expecting? I'm interested to see where we will go from here. |

| @IzanaSolos Well..., Iroha is not Akiteru's sister. She's his best friend, Ozuma's sister. This fact was clearly told in the episode. So, there is nothing sibling-related between Akiteru and Ioha. |

| After experiencing absolute peak kino romance from last season, I now get a painful flashbang with abysmal LN romcom slop like this. I can't comprehend anyone claiming slop like this over actual quality. |

| Nice first episode This looks like it will be fun and silly. |
| Starting out well, characters and plots being defined a good pace. "I'm, pretty sure that's how girls think, though." Sums it up. "Being tsundere only works in anime." Strewth! And, then, the tsundere materializes, right behind the troped bathroom door with a broken lock. Weird relationship triangle already, is it going to become a harem with that redhead who I guess in on the game team, and maybe the teacher Reine Murasame Sumire Kageishi? And god knows who else. |

| Silly, and completely different from Gimai Seikatsu that I actually loved. I’m not sure how I feel about it just yet but at least it seems fun for the time being. |

| Art is great, music is good (Half way in and I thought I saw Karubi, then it's actually Karubi when the song name pops up with the singer, wtf!!) , and the plot has some real depth with plenty of romance to go off, best of all yome's va is in there right off the bat, caught her right after she spoke her first line! But I'll keep this a high 7/10 borderline 8/10 for now, prob will be my fav anime this season, woohoo! And will most likely read the LN some time later... |

They really didn't hold back on the references in the OP lol. The Phoenix Wright and Higurashi ones were especially cool.  Well, the title isn't lying. At least it seems like our guy has enough of a backbone to stand up to Iroha's (and other potential troublemakers') antics. |
| This was solid actually. Not anything to give an award to, but something that will just keep you entertained enough to not drop it. And goodness, the sister was sure thick in this first episode, especially when she was on the bed/mattress. So we got a "sister" friend and a cousin "girlfriend" As for what is the history of the cousin that made her transfer, either bullying or some guys trying to cross the line with her Male MC seems entertaining to follow around as well Not a bad start. |

| Seems like it could be an amusing love triangle between Akiteru, Iroha and Mashiro. The girls have their quirks and look pretty fun. The plot also seems fairly original. Pretty good and interesting first episode :) |
| "Tsunderes only win in anime" So Iroha gonna win right?right... Iroha is amazing as I expected. Only concern is bit too similar too a certain blue bitch named Himari. Well as long as she stays somewhat honest. Idk if that uncle is blood related but if that's a real Wincest happening then Mashiro can somewhat make be doubt who to root for. This looks like pure street junk food. It's cringe and it's damn good so far. Hopefully it will be fun and not much annoying. I mean I expect good things from Gimai Seikatsu author. |
| You know for what it is considering the first few minutes of the episode I'll admit im surprised this seems to have some semblance of a decent plot. Since none of the other anime this season have basically no fan service I suppose we needed this to balance it out. The 4 main characters are all pretty good though, Aki's a good dude, Iroha would genuinely make me crash out if I had to put up with her so props to Aki for dealing with that. Mashiro seems like a pretty nice girl though, typical tsundere type though while Iroha's your typical hide your feelings for 12 episodes type. Curious to see Iroha's reaction to the whole fake boyfriend thing Aki and Mashiro have going, curious to see how far they'll take it. Pretty good first episode Also the Kyoufuu all back reference in the opening was actually so dope, idk if there were any other references, Loli god requiem maybe though that may be a reach. That was definetly a Kyoufuu all back referance though I know my stuff. |

| I wonder why they act like that towards him. This was okay, didn't really find much to like about this for now. Sensei best girl for sure though. Iroha and Mashiro are both whatever. Wasn't expecting Mashiro to be a tsundere and a kuudere instead. Her voice doesn't match with the tsundere stuff either and seems off. Anyway the bestie seems like a nice guy. Also I like the game dev stuff. The theme songs were whatever. |

| I'll give this show a few episodes, but I don't think it's for me. I agree with the thought process of the main character. Someone being rude to me would just cause me to dislike them, it wouldn't be even slightly endearing. He already puts up with it way more than I think is realistic. Iroha is completely insufferable, and I have no real desire to watch a show that is going to reward her behavior by having her actually end up with the MC. Mashiro doesn't seem much better, but at least after the first episode it's still theoretically possible that she just genuinely doesn't like him. I'd it turns out that she does, then she's just as bad as Iroha, if not worse. Either way, unless something significant ly changes in the next episode or two, I can't see myself finishing this show. |
| Always have been a sucker for "Fake Love" anime. I really like the sister though, she's super cute. Yeah the show isn't the most beautiful thing, but I thought it was really funny. I have had this on my PTW for AGES, so glad it's finally here! I didn't even know what the premise was, it was mainly the title that had me add it. Cool that it has a video game subplot and that she seems to be a voice actress! Haven't watched anything with voice over I think since Girlish Number! |

| What's with this opening full of references? lol Okay, I'm an imouto fan, so I'd say it's a bit sad that the main girl is the sister of the protagonist's friend, not the protagonist's sister. But that's okay. Iroha is cute, I like mesugaki characters like her, but Mashiro is also very pretty. The plot looks interesting, and it would be nice if they focused a bit in the game development part, since the protagonist has made a game already, it would be fun to see a bit about this, but I'd say it doesn't look like it will be like this. Anyway, good first episode |

| This show is already getting on my nerves as the kind of anime I don't like. Looks like 3 girls that treat the main character badly, but actually have a crush on him. This makes zero sense at all, but I'll give it a chance. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |

| Decent prologue. A typical fake boyfriend trope, it reminded me of Oreshura, where the protagonist was blackmailed by one of the heroines into being her fake boyfriend for the exact same reason as in this anime, to ward off other guys. I don’t really like the premise, but I feel like it’s too early to judge, so I’m gonna stick with it for a while. Although I’ve never found blackmail to be funny, like in Oreshura, at least this time it wasn’t blackmail but rather an ultimatum. Still, that wasn’t exactly nice either, but it is what it is, I guess. |
