Damn, I almost forgot sometimes how ominous the monster designs are in this show. Shinra's encounter with Inca is surreal moment, and seems she's trying to help him understand the past. But yeah, they didn't go for a big climatic battle but rather a buildup into the next part for season 3. Half a year wait and hopefully will be worth it. Inca is like an anomaly this arc. |

I must say the backstory about how it all began and came to be was the best they could’ve done after how much of a nothingburger the last episode felt, except the fireworks and bright colours. They really should make it a habit of dropping lore more than any other thing lol. I mean we can kill the kaijus later as well, right? As you see, SEEING THOSE BLACK AND WHITE MOVING PANELS OF MANGA inside an anime isn’t something we see every other day… I was waiting for them to adapt this part, and yeah, they really managed to give the feel about how their “ancient” civilization wasn’t actually ancient before the first great cataclysm, and in fact felt even more advanced than how their society is currently. You see, if you travel with the speed of light, you can travel in the past.. Shinra had a first hand experience. Really, they ended with a "blonde" Shinra of all things, just like that. For the sake of cliffhanger, the ending works, but man, they should've adapted things with a better pace. I've been saying this from the first episode, as yeah, the aftermath of Shinra waking up should've been what this episode was covering, ideally. If the next part ain't two cours there's no way they'd be able to adapt till the end. Well yeah, time will tell. Though season worked decently as the build-up for the stuff that is about to come, minus pacing, of course! |

Ah yes, because I love getting interrupted mid-fight to switch to a meaningless scene with Inca and background character #42... like wtf was that. Though, neither were interesting so whatever. I mean, even the less than a minute switch to Yuuichirou finishing off the kaijuu was not only more interesting, but better animated... seriously, who on the staff likes this character this much lol. Got a bit more lore on Raffles and Amaterasu, which would be fine... in any other episode that isn't the finale. Because whatever the hell I watched that followed was certainly... an experience to say the least. Hate to say it, but they totally nailed the whole creepy and eerie feel they were going for because I got a bit of chills there seeing the photorealism depicting modern day Japan. Oh wait, that’s seriously how we ended it? Wow, what a finale... God, this season was so fucking bad. I shouldn’t have been so ignorant when the fans told me it’s only downhill from season two. Combined with the slow pacing, trash directing, and poor animation, this made for one of the worst shounen seasons I’ve watched in recent memory I'll just copy paste the same shit I said yesterday: Streets won’t forget Spring 2025 as the season where the top 3 most popular shows went head-to-head each week to see which one could be more boring. P.S. This one was the winner. |

The first of 8 Pillars has risen, and Sho's fight against the Third Pillar being a clear sign of retaliation for the Great Cataclysm ahead, the Pillars will not get along in this matter. That said, while the Titan Infernal is dealt with, Sho at least doing a service for his older brother is one thing, but the Adolla Link that transcends to those who feel it. The Devil Infernal trailing the rites of history to trace the formation of Amaterasu through Raffles, into the entity that would become the Holy Sol Temple, as the first Pillar is activated, sending Shinra to an Adolla Link betwen him and Inca. The futures she saw certainly would help him portray the future better, though if it comes to the past, moving at hyperspeed and in the opposite direction to find a Tokyo without the Great Cataclysm seeing people live normal lives, that's quite the disillusion of the distant madness into the past. This certainly is in another realm of his own, thougb the dream awakens him...to see him all tied down to a bed, and the Great Cataclysm already progressing to the 5th Pillar? The end of the final season's 1st split-cour, definitely sets minds thinking of how far the Great Cataclysm could've gone... Needless to say, the expectation towards the anime continuing January next year will be a rather long wait! |

Great build up and backstory to everything for the second part of the season which I’m most excited for since that’s where the major fights will happen, at least I hope unless they goin keep spanning out scenes like 1990s toei animation. |

Man you’re kidding, it’s no way 3 months have passed since this came back. Feels like we just got started. This season did a good job of setting up the cataclysm and all the crazy stuff that’ll happen later on, it might not have had as much direction action as the first two seasons, but all the big reveals and twists were perfectly done. That last 5 minutes is as good as ANYTHING we’ve had in Fire Force thus far. For the life of me I don’t get a lot of criticisms about this season, not everything needs to be constant action for it to be good. Same people that called this boring will complain if series don’t have good world building or character development. This finale episode was actually a perfect microcosm of why I enjoyed this season so much. We get Sho vs Faerie, which admittedly was short, but still a cool demonstration of Faerie’s totally broken heat gravity ability, also we now know Sho’s totally gonna help his brother and be on his side when it comes down to it. We got Kurono Sakuga, the studio went extra hard on all his scenes in these last two episodes which is quite funny, but welcome lol. Most importantly, though, that fucking cliffhanger and lore dump! The Holy Sol religion being a complete scam should come as no shock to anyone. Even before this season, the writing was all on the wall. I think if anything, it’s just really scary to see a giant fucking demon go up to Raffles, kill him and take his place like that, then leading humanity as if he’s some savior. It almost creates an existential crisis and sense of dread because humanity have been herded like sheep for millennia all in the name of creating another cataclysm. Powerless to stop it. Shinra running into the past is one of the most visually stunning scenes you’ll ever see. They did justice to one of the biggest reveals in the manga and again I like how they bring this almost cosmic sense of horror to the scene. There’s this impending sense of doom, fear and the inevitability of the cataclysm that just hits you all at once. They did something very similar with the Hibana Sumire reveal that made it feel new even as someone who’d read it. Our boy’s been out 3 months and we’ve got a bit of a timeskip. Can’t wait to see what David production bring to the next cour, but damn winter 2026 seems ages away. 😭 |

This anime has such a creative way to fight, and luckily the animator can visualized the vision of manga in motion. The second half is very heavy on information revealing, but maybe it's about time anyway as there's only one cour left. But I feel like there's so much more lore waiting to be explored that it just can't end in just one cour away. Can we have original anime episodes supervised by the author? Maybe movies? I just want more. See you next year! |

So they genuinely are giving it the full AoT treatment with likely at least 1 to 2 movies to finish up the last 2 arc. I said this when I saw the pacing of the first 2 episodes, and it's been confirmed even more with the bad pacing for the rest of the season😔 |

@Softhenic03 @Anon7524 I don't get what bad pacing you are talking about. Before the final season was announced, fans had been speculating that it should take 3 cours to finish the story. Everything goes according to a plan so far (a third of the remainder has been adapted). |

@Ki11grave you do realize the announced the final season was only 2 course of 12 each😅😅😅😅? Also what do you mean bad pacing, when the first 5 episodes are spent way out of wack and wrongly paced according to most people, took too long and too short in other meaningful moments, and wasted a lot of time on recap from episode to episode |

@Anon7524 I am too interested in how they are going to adapt the rest (probably by turning the final arc into a movie), but if you compare this season to previous two, you will see that nothing has been changed in the speed of adapting manga chapters. And in terms of natural flow of the story, there was a big-scale, prolonged series of fights in the first half: they all feel like this in any anime. People have been complaining that Shibuya Incident from JJK and Bailong's Nest from Ranger Reject are "too long", even though events were passing by like crazy there. Here in Prison arc episodes' stucture make sense: one ep for Gold, next one for Dragon, the last one for Burns. |

That was kind of an underwhelming ending. Also Shinra remained super useless in the fight against the giant until the very end. All he did was stop Juggernaut's attack. Bro literally slept throughout the whole battle. What did he even show up for? And Sho came all the way to see hks brother, even ended up saving him, but then immediately left without getting to talk to him. Wtf? How were Hibana's investigation and Arthur's side quest the highlights of this season??? I really hope that part 2 of Season 3 will be better. The fights this season really were mediocre imo... |

The pacing this season was bad or felt too slow to some because the 24 episode 1st season covered 90 chapters, and the 24 episode 2nd season covered 84 chapters (with no breaks between cours btw). This first part of S3 covered about 42 chapters (par for the course for 12 episodes btw) so of course it's going to feel slower. I'll admit that sure the directing and flow felt a bit off at times but for Christ's sake can MAL stop being so overdramatic for once 😂😂😂😂 for perspective, 43 chapters were adapted through the first 12 episodes of S1 so yeah, this is standard pacing. And the claim that it's downhill for this series after season 2 has to be bullshit lol because some of the best this series has to offer is still yet to come. Mfs really just be fucking saying whatever LMFAO. Anywho, the pre-Great Cataclysm part was what I've been waiting to see adapted this whole cour, and where I figured they would end things, and my god they cooked. So yeah, before the Great Cataclysm their world was just regular Japan. This caught me so off guard in the manga, seeing real-world people being depicted and I'm glad they basically ripped it straight from the manga. Definitely one of the most creative things I've seen a series do. Now to wait for the next cour, which, with 80-something chapters left, won't be enough to wrap things up unless they rush the shit out of it. Which, if that was the plan, they would have started the rushing in this cour. So maybe we'll get a 4th and final 12 episode season after 🤞 |

Well, Shinra, what do you think of the human world before the cataclysm? 'Look on their works, ye Mighty, and despair!'. They had vastly greater resources, forces, and power than your world has, but it availed them nought. Can you win against enemies yet stronger than those that felled them? |

Woww, this episode had a lot to take in, especially the end... First, it was really cool to see Sho saving Shinra, his brother, even though he had to escape in the end, so he couldn't say a proper greeting to his brother. Also, his combo with Arrow to defeat that other guy that I don't rememeber the name was cool. Not really sure why Inca and Shinra got connected especially, because if they are coming closer due to the cataclysm, why are we only seeing these 2 together, and not all the pillars? To be fair, it does seem like Iris got closer to the 1st Pillar, so I'll give them that. Also, crazy of Inca to be excited to be in a relationship with Shinra, that man is getting all the ladies in this anime. I was not expecting the "We'll make love" statement, like, ok? Now, the best part of the episode, was when Inca and Shinra travelled to the past (because why not), and they showcased those realistic painels of Shinra and the actual world. It was a really great way to show us the world before the calamity could really well be our world. It was chilling actually, and the weird artwork just made the scene so much better. For real, Fire Force somethimes have the best art direction, and this is one example, and probably one of the best examples. Before we know it, we see a blonde Shinra waking, in what seems to be the Tokyo before the calamity, and he is stuck to a bed. And from the news, it seems the calamity is coming closer, since there are already 5 pillars up! Also, Inca was lost in the way, since she couldn't keep up with Shinra, she must probably be somewhere in Tokyo too. Now, I'm not sure what to take from this, but Shinra said that he felt like he was helding back is "madness" when he looked back to the past, and then we seem like he's being guarded as a maniac patient. Is there the possibility that the Shinra from the past had connected memories with the one from the future, so he knew what was going to happen, but people treated him like crazy? Or was that only Shinra's memories from being in the past? There's been some arson in that world, maybe it also has to do with him or the calamity. Honestly, I feel like this opens a really big door for the anime, and the next season looks REALLY promising, but at the same time, visits to the past can quickly destroy a story, so let's hope that's not the case for Fire Force. What's going to be Shinra's role in the past? And Inca's? I'm really curious to see that! I think it's interesting we already have the preview for the next part's 1st episode, although it didn't reveal much. A really great way to end this 1st part (for example, better than season's 2, although that was good too), to a otherwise troubled season. I feel like this anime shines the most when it explores the setting it has, and in some really cool fights with unique powers. And this season had really great examples of that. However, this season also had some of the worst of Fire Force, that is the way the anime wants to take itself seriously with matters that aren't clearly serious, or with the amount of fanservice this has. The worst example of this in this season was all Arthur's quest on finding his new sword, where he got back with his parents, for them to just abandon him again. It has been quite some time I have watched an anime episode that made me so furious to watch. Overall, I must say that I feel like this season had more negatives than positives, comparing to the previous seasons. The beginning part felt slow, the fights weren't that interesting, and I personally didn't like the whole Burns idea of "oh yeah, I know what I'm doing is wrong, but what can I do, I'm old". Also, Joker, presented as such an interesting character since the beginning, and especially after season 2, and they just completely ignored him in this first part, like, what was the point of having him, if he didn't do anything. The 2nd part had some really interesting episodes, like Sister's Sumire, this last one, but also had the worst episodes of the show so far, as I mentioned. Also, the animation was also inconsistent, some of the fights weren't that impressive, comparing to last season, where they were more consistent with the animation. Either way, I feel like the really good episodes this season had made up for the bad parts, so I think I'm giving this season the same score I gave the other ones, mainly because it was the season they explored the setting the most, and I really like Fire Force for that. So I'm giving this a 7/10, and I'll be eagerly waiting to see how Shinra's travel to the past will work out! |

So Shinra went back so far in the past he went before the manga was created into the real world and saw it all be created? weird ahh plot but not really crazy surprising, I think I saw a similar plotline in the past. I Kinda hope the pink hair girl was serious and She and Shinra hook up in the future, Would be hella random but I would not complain at all. Overall this season was fine, If im comparing it to the first 2 then it was trash. But just in general it was fine, nothing crazy it was just okay. 6/10 |

Not gonna lie, the pacing felt weird for a finale, but the lore drop was insane. That final montage gave me chills pure artistic power. I get why some people felt underwhelmed, especially after some really strong episodes earlier, but I see this more as a setup for the chaos that’s coming. If this was the “calm before the storm,” then season 4 better come swinging. Also, blond Shinra is wild. |

David 👏 Production 👏 Don't 👏 Miss. Mixed in with a great world and interesting characters, another decent season. Whilst the first half was considerably more entertaining, I didn't have too much problems with conclusion of this part. I do love the close up they like to add: gave me the dream man vibes But I do like this one better: |

Great ep Ngl, I truly feel that part a really lacked compared to part b. Kurono went crazy to finish that Titan Infernal and Sho tries his best to stop Faerie, but gets cooked ig. Seeing Iris feel a difference in herself with the questionable reaction of Amaterasu was cool. Amaterasu and that evil grin 😁 We learn more of the founder of Amaterasu and Holy Sol, which is the OG Raffles but was killed by a weird infernal, who uses his identity, I think (Yona was the name). First pillar has now been activated and Inca appears to Shinra in his adolla link dream They go back to the past of the events of the world before the Great Cataclysm and the way that this segment was directed was amazing. The black and white was greatly executed. The way real people were implemented and even how it looks in our "anime" perspective was remarkable. In addition, that quick real life version of Shinra that appeared really shocked me cause I never thought that would appear as a manga reader. Now, Shinra wakes up in restraints and now has blonde hair lol. Ngl, thought it would be white but ight. This ep adapted the rest of ch 213 and 214-216. Ended exactly how I though it would, considering the confusing way that the staff chose to adapt the chapters as a whole. 9.5/10 With that, FF S3 P1 is now over. Production issues, questionable direction, and even shortened eps really hurt my enjoyment. Hurts to see how Arthur vs Dragon and Shinra vs Burns were done, it could of looked so much better. But, the anime is coming back for a P2 on January 2026, which imo is dumb asl. They even released a immediate trailer and a pv for the next ep. Really hoping there is a third cour so that it can ease my worries. If it was me, I would return Mid 2027 or January 2028 respectfully (if this is the last cour), if not, even mid 2026 to even late 2026 would be better. We pray that the production issues can somehow be fixed and that a better schedule can be made, bc the current one to drop next January is silly. If it had performed the way that it should, I definitely would have given it a 9.5/10. FF S3 P1: 9/10 |

When you are one of the fastest character on land but you are forced to fight an air battle. Slow battle. That realistic-er Shinra frame should be something dramatic, but just makes me think of that "Can't You Take Anything Seriously? / Too Serious " meme. So destroying the world could make humankind/world look more anime-ish. Someone just gone "Hehehe, time to dye the hair and pierce the ears of the comatose guy" |

Poorly aimed shots that were actually stepping stones lol. Still gravity huh the white clad sure have quite the range of ability users. The truth about Raffles sure was grim. The insight into the past that they witnessed via their jump sure was interesting. Looking forward to seeing cour 2 now. |

an absolute peak episode.. pretty much a revolutionary twist in the shonen genre, it's absolutely crazy. and yes, this part may not have been the best, but part 2 is the peak of fire force. (and yes, there was some issues in part one related to direction/pacing + animation so..) but, this episode had incredible direction and animation, as well as world building and overall what it means for anime. gosh, i cant take it that people can be so desperate as to call this "bad" |

@Softhenic03 @Anon7524 I don't get what bad pacing you are talking about. Before the final season was announced, fans had been speculating that it should take 3 cours to finish the story. Everything goes according to a plan so far (a third of the remainder has been adapted).
Interesting ep seeing Shinra with blonde hair is odd haha can’t wait for the next cour |

9:00 Shinra and Sho finally reunited again… kinda 16:45 Shinra feeling them oppai on his back 👌🏻🤣 19:00 bruh wtf is this?! This is like real life footage they’re showing from the 1900s 🤣🤣🤣 BRUH WHAT WAS THAT ENDING?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! THEY’RE GONNA LEAVE US HANGING LIKE THAT UNTIL WINTER 2026?! 🤯🤯🤯 My 4th Spring 2025 anime finished! They’re all just finishing one by one everyday now man 🥲 I was very happy when we initially received news of this getting a 3rd season last year and there are two cours. I just watched Fire Force last year in February 2024. Literally perfect timing. This season was definitely different than the rest I feel. Honestly my favorite scene was from last week’s episode when they were all talking about shipping each other with one another 🤣 but wow, really leaving us on a cliffhanger like this until Winter 2026 when Cour 2 comes out? That’s crazy… can’t wait until then! 🔥 You already know I’ve still been listening to Season 1’s OP “Inferno” everyday the last few weeks 🤣🔥 |

@Ckea ARthur's whole thing has a moment I remember finding hilarious in how fitting it was, though it feels a bit unrealistic even if we consider that console high quality, to have survived the Great Cataclysm |

@Marinate1016 I feel like we might revisit this with Sumire in the future, I remember this, but there's a scene in a later chapter that is far more 4th wall breaking and uncomfortable to read, especially when you wouldn't expect that here. Maybe from Ishida Sui, but Atsushi Okubo does a good job with presenting a surreal existentialist kind of story |

@Shingster The quantum level stuff is such that it's a good thing the author kind of kept it mostly to particular characters. Then again, Arthur and Dragon are both their own brand of crazy powerful, but being able to manipulate time or space by superheat is up there |

I've been waiting to see how they'd do that last part for a while and I wasn't disappointed, I love how unsettling it feels and the warped feeling of everything Already can't wait for the return, I'm surprised they already had a preview for the next episode! |

This episode was definitely better than last week’s but these two last ones have this eerie boredom about them. I think the soundtrack js didn’t hit as well as the other episodes. Also there was an episode preview for en episode 13 so I’m confused as to how many episodes we are getting for part 1. |

This season was too short, not much really happened and I could still use a brief recap but the show is still as enjoyable as I remember, this episode was fantastic, the weirdness of the powers that are still fire based, how unsettling it was when Shinra went to the past and Inca is just a fun girl but now the season just ended right when it got to such a crazy part, 3 months time skip, I can't wait for the second part. |
