| Sure didn't long for Sunraku and the gang to return to their adventures again. Speaking of which, Sunraku wants to get stronger again and right off the bat, they meet a golem monster. So already, this episode didn't hold back on the action and has a similar tone compared to season 1. With the momentum they have right now, I expect rest of the season to be just as wild. |

| Okay but, there was absolutely no reason to recap things here, I mean so little happened during the whole course of the first season, that yeah, there is actually nothing anyone would fail to recall, as at the end of the day this is just about a guy playing games and… playing games, and… consuming his share of oxygen from atmosphere, I guess? Also hey, I remember last season ended with some kind of hinting towards how it is about time we know the lore of this series, but yeah, not even one minute into this episode, and that thing is down the drain. I mean understandable, trying to make things interesting isn’t how this series works. The usual drill with golems or whatever working as a glorified presentation to show guy’s capabilities is something which is here to stay, and we’ll see a LOT of in this season as well, I feel. So yeah, can only hope things will actually start to happen this season, but yeah, can just hope at the end of the day. Also, can that girl please just stop stalking the guy and actually go and talk? Lol. |

| The Fall 2023 - Winter 2024 duo marks its return with both 7DS: Mokushirou no Yonkishi a.k.a Knights of the Apolcalypse, as well as mangaka Katarina's Shangri-La Frontier, it's gonna be yet another 2-Cour season hype once again. LiSA's OP respects FZMZ's Season 1 OPs with the gamery vibes. Otoha's ED is just too classy for such a series like this... The small recap to see Sunraku, Emul, Bilac and Aramis be back onto the scene continuing where they left off after being interrogated by the Professor for their research lore on the game itself, as well as Bilac becoming an Ancient Craftsman, though for instances pertaining to Wethermon the Tombguard, it can only be the Giant Killer Arthur Pencilgon who can answer his queries. For now, other than Lycagon the Nightslayer's Curse, Sunraku and the gang at the Ruins of Past Glories wanting to expand on the former's Inventoria by going to the area he knows will help build in numbers...and Divinity golems are part of the program for that. The unexpectedness of the Swordsmaster Aramiys single-handedly one-shotting the work golem down himself, earning Bilac's ire. But if anything, its land of golems will give Sunraku and the others a run for their time. The infinite army of small bomb-blasting Ball Golems prove trouble for the small nuts, leaving both Sunraku and Bilac free to deal with the main boss with newly acquired weapons like the Dullahan's Flame General's Decapitator, but the least expected of it being a big bomb almost got them screwed up, and that's no more evident than its item drop being a Blasting Earth Idol of a small Cannonball Golem being a grenade, The other loot items which range from idol to idol depending on the golems taking down, and the Workshop being a hidden underground berth, Sunraku and the others are making good progress...and both Arthur and Oikatzo are ready to come back for their usual mischiefs. SLF Theater with Rei getting her love fortune being told from the game store's manager Mana and naturally hiding from Rakuro, how is she going to get her love across lols. A great return to form for Shangri-La Frontier, it's gonna be yet another banger season, I can feel it. |

| Well, it's back, better than ever after just a two season break, and we start with a banger LiSA song. While not better than that band from last season that cooked up two bangers, this still bangs, ofc. Anywho, we start off with a mini recap/telling of everything from the Wezamon arc to what had happened last episode, with Sunraku running into that professor with that deep ass voice in the town. I kinda did forget why they even went to the town to begin with, but yeah, they get to this skull dome looking thing and start fighting some robots of all things. Animation as good as ever, it seems. Especially on Arameese's attacks with his "slash"... that is a thrust IDK what he's on about. Guess slash just sounds cooler, I guess? They fuck some shit up regardless though, animation as fire and flashy as ever. How I missed this show is what I figured out with this episode lmao. Really glad we're in for another twenty-five episode journey, we WILL be seated. And yeah, Sunraku might be done for, I mean, dude ghosted his friends outta nowhere... he's in for it FOR SURE xD |

| Lisa OP ahhhh man this season is incredible for anisong. So many amazing jpop and kpop artists doing tracks! One of the best I can recall. Crazy to think it’s been 6 months since this last aired, but we’re back like we never left. Nice first episode back with Sunraku, Bilac and Co. The production values look just as good, the golem fight was dope. All the comedy and gags we’ve come to know and love seem to still be hitting as well. They didn’t waste any time throwing us back into the action so hopefully the pacing is a bit better this season as things dragged at some points last season. Would be nice to get more of the game’s lore as well. I still can’t get over the professor having Kirei’s voice man every time she talks I just hear “yorokobe shonen” lmaoo. Looking forward to seeing more of her though. Uh oh, Sunraku should’ve known better than to go treasure hunting without Pencilgon lmao. She looks pissed, next episode should be great! |

| well well since this was so fast i didnt have to go back and watch to remember the last season i appreciate that we are back again exploring the divinity era ruins but they have some unexpected company coming up will they be okay well anyways glad to see this back so soon |

| I had missed Shangri-La Frontier. And it comes back with beautifully animated fights, a LiSA OP that could not sound more FZMZ and an ED that sounds like Ado in MIRROR? Sign me up!!! Where is the next episode?! |

| Hell yeah, the best gamer anime is back at it again and this and after oozing the hard rock track in the opening and going through a brief recap Sunraku's gang is back in business in the search for an abandoned facility. Bilac can be quite useful with her knowledge as well as hammer skill and Emul provides magic and emotional support but the sword cat with its anti golem sure was something else. The battle against the spawning golems was harsh and it required using skills already learned as well as that sword Bilac had forge a while ago. Nonetheless, with the mysterious idols being drop and the entrance found, next time we're going deeper. Side note, something else I've missed from this anime is the way the shop references IRL games in the background. From the frames I was able to recognize Cyberpunk, Dark Souls and Trackmania, while there are a couple that are in the tip of my toungue but can't put my finger on what they are. |

| We're so fucking back baby. It's also crazy that in this day and age, we're getting another 2-cour season with this kind of quality just 6 months after the 1st season ended, which was also 2-cour. I am guessing Shangri-La Frontier has a really healthy schedule, C2C goats. Really appreciate the brief recap at the start to catch us up to speed, though the last season being 6 months ago also makes things easier to remember. Even though it's not FZMZ doing the OP anymore, I am really glad they kept the same energy as the previous OPs and it's by fucking LiSA. ED was pretty fun too, Emul doing the slow turns were killing me lmao. Speaking of the episode, we're back exactly where we left off. Damn, this a whole party of furries, even Sunraku himself. But let's fucking go, bless Sunraku for ignoring Pencilgon's emails, now she and Oikatzo will join in on the fun. |

| The recap from the beginning wasn’t necessarily wanted, but they wanted to make the new episode shorter, I guess. Anyway, I hope it will be as best as the first season! Sunraku surely will get into new troubles, but new awaiting adventures as well, trying to defeat Lycagon again. |

| Shangri-La Frontier is back, and I missed seeing Sunraku’s bird-like antics. I liked Lisa’s OP, but it doesn’t surpass those from the first season. However, I enjoyed the ED a bit more, maybe because of its visual aesthetics. Nothing has changed; the comedy and animation are still just as good. The fight with the golems was explosive, literally, and I missed the OSTs during the battles in this anime. I didn’t remember Aramis being mentioned as so strong, but he turned out to be very useful in the fight. Although Sunraku will be stopped by Pencilgon and OiKatzo for not reporting to them and leaving while he did his special scenario, maybe there will be some PvP. Great first episode. |

| Good to see this anime back again. I like that Sunraku is doing his best to help out Bilac. Those Golems were difficult to deal with all that explosion, they thought they were Electrode's. Will be very interesting to see what happens with Sunraku now that his friends have found him lol. |

| It was just like the first season but with weaker sound effects. I half liked the ending but not really because of the song but for seeing the ladies wearing suits. |

| SLF is back and it's nice to see that this will also be 2 cours just like last year. While the action scenes were great I forget why Pencilgon and Oikatzo weren't invited to Sunraku's expedition but it looks like they're going to make him pay for their exclusion lol. |
