| The big bad demon's real target of attacking the city of Horizon, and he gives Rein and his party a run for their money being a battle of ultimate species vs. a strong demon with limitless supply. And when that doesn't work, the plan to evacuate its citizens take priority. Also, Arios the Hero can just go to hell with the absurd thinking that the demon that Rein is facing, is cannon fodder. With Stella's help, the evacuation effort is under way, and eventually the adventurers from the Horizon Guild with Gantz owes them a handful to help them in fending off the demons. And all the while, Nina the demigod hasn't had a chance to showcase herself, and chooses to help Rein to get close to the demon to tame the minions down and force them against it. It was a hard-fought battle, but Rein did it to save Horizon. He's just a regular beast tamer, and totally Rein. This would've been a predictable, yet decent ending for a stopping point. So what more will the true final episode hold? |

| Great episode Rein ,the Girls and the townspeople managed to take down the monster. Really looking forward to the final episode |
| That was a fierce battle but Rein and everyone managed to defeat the demon, Nina did great. Just one more episode left, I hope it doesn't leave us with a big cliffhanger. |

| So the “hero” was willing to sacrifice an entire village of innocents just to kill one “lowly” beast tamer lmaooo I fucking hate that loser. He needs to get his ass beat again. Hopefully we get that next week for the finale. Rein is the true hero. Animation was a little wonky during the demon fight, but using his own demons to take the big bad out was pretty cool. Nina’s powers make her a very powerful asset and a great addition to the team. |

| Baka-hero has one job, one job only, to defeat the demon lord, and refused to deliver, wtf??? Whoever is funding him, should make him resign to his job. This episode felt like the end of the series but there's one episode left, maybe we'll get to see a happy side story with the girls? Who knows, but I'm in. |

| The battle itself was very nice, how Rein and the girls tried to protect the town against the demon. I don't know anything about the original resource of the anime (manga or LN) But I believe the stupid Hero will be the final boss of this anime after the battle agains the Demon Lord |

| white mage and the warrior may have some hope for the future and can help rein in their own way but it seems black mage is a lost hope. I guess after this the hero will lose any kind of reputation he had in horizon and the people will make them leave the city. |

| i thought this was the final episode, thank goodness it wasn't! but it sure felt like it was, now time to find out what that "cowardly" hero's reaction will be when he finds out Rein's still alive. |

| loli fox spirit girl is adorable, but good lord that "final boss" esque demon looks ridiculous. Like a 5 year old described it to the animators and they just rolled with it. it's so bad lmao |
| The look of the demon kept reminding me of Sullivan from Marimashita Iruma-kun. I was even calling him Grandpa. No mention that the hero party didn't show up. I wonder how that turd was picked as hero. Could have been possible mistaken identity and the hero is Rein? I wonder if Nina can identify the "hero" since she was in the room when he gave that artifact to the rich guy. |
| i guess the Yuusha party is just useless as ever, well this has been a great series, hope it gets another season oh wait the series wasn't done yet even though it just felt like it, this episode just felt like it was the last episode of the series that he even narrates at the end of the episode while credits are rolling |
| The Hero's party, especially the Hero is still a scumbag. It's still a mystery what evil deeds the Hero has done to the others' cast and I guess it will still be a long time before it's revealed. Rein's party are still whomesome as ever when it comes to their comaraderie along with their friends and the people of Horizon. We have yet to see Nina getting a contract from Rein, I'd love to see that. Overall, the animation was mediocre but bearable. The VA outdone themselves for making this series a good one but with a bit of disappointment from Nina's VA as there's not enough naturalness from her voice when Nina was crying... but I'm still looking forward for some good ones in the future. P.S. This EP12 really feels like the FINAL episode because of Rein's monologue at the end of this episode, about Nina's followers/villagers left their village after Nina was abducted... Episode 13... what can I expect from it? |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Literally just made this account to post this but may post more lol, overall i really enjoyed the anime so far, right from the start i knew it would be a power fantasy anime with slice of life stuff, and i'm happy with it, this episode was really good and the way of defeating the demon was pretty creative, i was expecting the entire time for the fox girl to just use some kind of hidden power that destroyed the demon but instead all she did was instant teleport which is still pretty good. Overall this episode really did felt like the ending, but make sense it would have a extra episode, we still need to see the reaction of the hero after the situation got solved and the protagonist survived, we need to know if the protagonist will decide or not if he want to kill the demon lord or not, they will probably make the fox girl join his group as well and so on and so forth, i kinda get why they want to make a extra episode. Also i didn't read the original story this anime is based on, but something tell me the priest that is with the hero will abandon him and join the protagonist, she's already showing not agreeing with his opinions on stuff, especially when she said "the decision of the great hero reflect the will of the god" if the hero keep doing bad stuff, she will surely notice that isn't something the god want and abandon him, and let's be honest while the protagonist and the group may have a hard time accepting her on the team i'm sure they would grow together quite well and considering how kind the protagonist is he would forgive the priest for sure, plus in my personal opinion would be good to have at least 1 character in the main protagonist party besides himself that is not a supreme beast of some kind. Anyway yeah i really hope the priest thing happens in the future, i doubt it will happen on the last episode though that would be too quick, overall i really enjoyed this anime so far, it's not really amazing, but it's good on what it's supposed to do, so i disagree with people that call it just "generic and bad". Too i will admit i can't see this anime getting a second season, but who knows i been wrong before about this type of stuff. |

| This episode was ok and it was interesting to see how Nina was utilized to defeat the demon. I hope that the ending concludes with the hero being ousted or better yet having his ass kicked. |
| Loved this episode. Definitely one of the best ones yet in terms of animation and music. I think with the big battle over and one more episode remaining, my hope for a season 2 is high! Still the most underrated anime of the season imo. |

| This episode was amazing and i love every single bit of this episode. This episode with almost fighting action which were greatly animated. It just keeps my adrenaline pumped up with a greatly opponent that can't be understimated. I liked it when Nina suddenly want to help to defeat the demon that gives us the depiction of demigod powers. The scene that was memorable too is when the doubt of the townspeople trusting in fairies (Sora and Runa). It was lovely that some of the townspeople like hot dog seller trust in them that create trust from human to fairies now. The assist from some adventurers from the guilds and the blacksmith (Gantz) assisting Rein is just so wholesome that tells us how far Rein has come to this point. Love the happy ending in the end where ultimate species and humans can live happily together. Overall this is a very good episode with a great character development, awesome back and forth battle, great animation, and incredible ending that is embodiment of perfect episode. 5/5. By the way i know this episode is not last episode but it kinda feels like last episode of the overall story. Is the 13th episode gonna be ova or something? |

| The gang manages to kill the demon with the insane beast taming powers of Rein and the help of all of the people he met along the way that he was nice to, very epic. I wonder why it didn't end at episode 12 tho, i'l see the end of this series, it was definitely cool either way. |
