Man, it’s so good to have this show back. Been a long ass 3 months. Loved this episode a lot. Sometimes you just need someone to hear you out and to care. Haru was able to be that person for the kid on the train and along with Daisuke really prevented a messy situation.

What I don’t get is why the first division shunned Haru after he killed that woman. It was in self defence and saved lives potentially. Seems more like jealously than anything and that they just wanted an opportunity to see him fail.

Fugou Keiji is finally back with a bang!!

That innocent kid took hostages and became a streamer in an instant, he had his reasons though.

And of course, our cool detective Kanbe comes with an amazing plan and along with
Katou they save the hostages and help the boy with funding his sister's surgery (nice guy Kanbe).

Looking forward to next week's adventures of the two detectives~!

I can't help but thinking the opening scene is pure fanservice, grandma approve fiance or something like that.

Also those fangirls are too crazy, even more unrealistic than unlimited balance account.

A really pleassure have Fugou Keiji Back!!

It has been 3 montsh and it totally worth it..
Good episode, man I really like this series vibes, with an almighty detective and a true detective making this unlikely team.. just so funny.
Also great way to solve the problem this time (Haru is the best!)

Great episode as return, and I think this will is going to be one of the best of the season..
Just waiting for next one!

Great episode!
Kambe residence compound is so huge! Daisuke is afraid of his granny, so funny! Daisuke's gadgets are so cool, Haru needs more practice! Haha.
Those grannies are funny as f!
That kid went through a lot, but what he did is so wrong in many levels. Daisuke is so kind, he's even willing to pay for the kid's sister's surgery. What a nice way to spend your unlimited money.
Daisuke and Haru's relationship is getting better and better. Sadly, Haru is still in a state of trauma.
Also, I wanna see what happened in Hong Kong!

Ohh how I missed this show. It was my favourite last season and then it stopped airing and I was so sad.
This episode was so nice. I'm glad we saw the whole scene of the incident that made Haru lose his position in the First Division. Hoshino really looked up to Haru before this.
Oh and the beginning scene was hilarious. Loved seeing Kambe feel uncomfortable and irritated. Also, Haru called him by his first name there :O
Can't wait for the next episode!

Twitter Simping Simulator is back bois. That Haru's backstory scene is pretty good. Totally understand why he quitted 1st Division now, dude straight up killed a woman in self-defense. Also Daisuke spent $4mil inviting that boyband to perform so there's that.

This episode actually made me very angry...Haru is a complete failure as a police officer

In hostage scenarios, his #1 job is to protect the innocents, and make sure they don't come into harms way. Shooting to disarm in a bank hostage situation...what if the criminal had backup weapons? I don't care if he wants to get himself killed while fulfilling his ideals, don't bring the innocent bystanders into this. There's a reason shooting to disarm is just a Hollywood thing

Same with the train situation. Just by acting on a hunch, he completely disregards the lives of the old ladies. He says that he believes the boy not to be capable of this, yet we've already seen that under desperation, the boy is already dumb enough to pull off a scheme like this, which had no chance of succeeding in any way. (even if he had gotten away there wouldn't be a payout, since you can't be rewarded for criminal acts)

First Division dude was useless as well. With the gun out of the boy's hands, you tackle him down and SECURE HIM FIRST, and then you can have all the time in the world to do your investigating.

The anime keeps trying to portray Daisuke as selfish, but I would say that Haru is even more so. At least with Daisuke the only things that come under harm's way are property, not lives

I mean sure, it's supposed to be a comedy anime and all that, but Haru was supposed to represent the serious one here.

Imo he wasn't demoted after killing that woman because they wanted to see him fail but because the toll on his mental health was too big cause he probably saw her as an innoncent woman that hadn't done anything wrong (yet)
Which could also be why we see him trembling when aiming at the boy in the train, that might be PTSD

they had already gone to Hong Kong, because they brought something back for the grandmother.

I am not sure if that is a Chekov's gun or not.
Either it will appear later...because Haru seems to have come back with a tiny bit more respect for Daisuke. Maybe the events of that trip will be relieved later

Or it was just meant as another way to show Daisuke throwing his wealth around.

Or the plot of the Hong Kong trip was found to be too provocative, perhaps of the Chinese Government and during the 3 month layoff, they changed the story

IT'S BACK!!! My life just got brighter again haha I'm a bit disappointed we didn't get to see what Daisuke & Haru got up to in Hong Kong but that scene at the beginning was hilarious with Kanbe Obaa-San.

The flashback to the incident that traumatised Haru was cool... it makes me understand him a lot more and what makes him tick as a police officer. I also feel like this episode Daisuke & Haru came to understand each other a bit more working together to save that boy

Finally back! It is good to have this show back. I seriously started to miss it since it brought some more comedy into this season. The episode had a good mix of themes and was really fun to watch. I wouldn't have thought that Daisuke would behave himself - even for his grandma. The drama was also surprisngly good and believable.

It's a shame that we didn't get to see the journey itself.
It's strange, but I am not sure I will follow this show. I still think it has great character writing, but since it's started too many things happened. I just don't think a show about wealth being thrown around and problematic police sits well with me after THIS spring.
It also isn't exctly gripping, tbh, I feel ashamed for Haru often and Daisuke isn't really human yet. While individual cases matter not, we all know how they will be solved anyway. Honestly, I'd rather watched these two bond in Hong-Kong.

It's good to see Kanbe and Kato back!

The eccentric old ladies' concert thing was a bit strange, are they really like that?

The bit with Kanbe's grandmother was cute, if a bit abrupt. Like most people I was expecting the episode to lead in from the ending of the previous one with the two heading to a foreign country.

Anyway I think it was a good enough return. But I hope to see more dangerous crime in the future.

Kanbe is a beast!! He really doesn't care about spending the money at all XD It's madness! But still, what he said to that boy's little sister warmed my heart <3

Great episode! It's been soo long since a new episode came out XP I really missed this anime!

I really did like the mix of both serious and goofiness in this case, like one second it's showing someone desperate to save his sister and then the next it's all the grandma's fangirling over their favourite group (even the hostage and the "dead" one stopped playing around lol)

THIS! I hate that when the show deviates from its attempt of comedy, the only thing they do is try and sell us this idea that Haru is the embodiment of justice who was wronged by the system. In reality he is just stubborn, irresponsible, and a bad cop.

Agreed! The writing is just so incohesive. Their relationship went from A to Z and we were not given a reason as to why. We weren't even given a hint that there was a reason why they seemed way more friendly with each other than in the previous episodes.

But I'm one of those people who is thirsting over the Kambes so who am I to talk. They and the boss music that keeps playing every time Daisuke gets on screen are the only things that keep me watching (mostly the music tho, that shit is really hilarious).

This is just an assumption but I think the Hong Kong part was cut out was because of the current state of Hong Kong and China in general. I guess the directors had to cut it out to avoid and controversy. Again, it's only an assumption.

It was a good long awaited episode of Fugou Keiji (for some), I just watched the first 2 episodes yesterday so it only took me a day to watch this third one :)

First, they skipped the Hong Kong arc (now I'm curious). Then we have this filler scene with Daisuke's grandma which I can already tell will spark some fangirls (and boys). And the main plot is to stop a hostage in the train. I can understand where the perp is coming from and Daisuke was kind enough to use his "money making machine" to help the perp sister's surgery. Finally Haru made up with his former colleagues after that misunderstood incident in the past. My only complaint are those granny fans, they are a bit annoying and kinda took the weight down this episode.

But now I'm on board with this anime and we'll see if they will develop more in their future missions.

Daisuke is just amazing, with this episode think i got their flow, after this episode i want to see even more.

This is definitely 2 man job, Daisuke alone probably would end the situation but with a bigger cost.

The mom scene was really good.
Keep it coming!
