| Clicked on this thread with the thought of typing out Shogun Assassination arc and Farewell Shinsengumi Arc only to find out that the person who made the thread is already a fan of those arcs I'll throw in Courtesan of a Nation Arc. Enjoyed it as much as those other 2 arcs |

| Funny enough, the Chimera Ant arc of HxH is my most hated shounen arc. My favorite is probably the Grand Magic Games of Fairy Tail. Yes i know Fairy Tail isn't great, i just enjoyed it more. |

| Chunin Exam holds no. 1 spot in my book for a very long time. Farewell Shinsengumi is the close second (Shogun Assassination and Courtesan of the Nation are also pretty good). Soul Society arc is the third. For the manga, it's Coalition arc from Kingdom. |
| That’s a close race between the Chimera Ants arc in HxH, the Sabaody Archipelago arc in One Piece, and the Pain arc in Naruto. But tbh I haven’t watched a lot of battle shounen yet. I still need to watch FMAB and a lot of the semi-popular ones before I would feel comfortable saying more about favorites and such. |

I'm too indecisive: Dragon Ball Z: The Cell Saga Naruto: Chunin Exams One Piece: the entire stretch from Water 7 to Enies Lobby Hunter x Hunter: York New City along with the Chemera Ant arcs Attack on Titan: Battle of Trost and Return to Shiganshina Yu Yu Hakusho: The Dark Tournament My Hero Aca: Sports Festival or Hideout Raid (I hear the upcoming Pro Hero arc is really good though) |
| I don't watch that many battle shounens (especially the super-long ones) so I haven't seen many of the arcs that people are praising, but out of the ones I've seen my favorite were: Shinsengumi Crisis (this was the point when I became much more interested in Gintama), Farewell Shinsengumi, Shogun Assassination and Return to Shiganshina (SnK). |

| I have two:- 1. Sports festival arc - My Hero Academia 2. Totsuki Autumn Election arc - Shokugeki no Soma + FS AND SA arcs from Gintama, those arcs come real close. |
| Yorknew City arc, Hisoka and the phantom troupe were awesome. Chimera Ants was actually pretty disappointing for me, it had it's good moments but bad pacing and too many unnecessary scenes. Conclusion was also meh. |
| The shogun assassination arc too for me, and the first soul society arc. Of course the hunter examination arc as well. |

| Kira Arc from JoJo part 4 , lots of twist and many good tactical battles also the final battle is the best battle in entire JoJo finale. Others maybe the Briggs Arc in FMAB , Olivier Mira Armstrong is such a great commander |

| Water 7 and the subsequent enies lobby arc were peak one piece in both emotional impact and action. It also came out at the right time: before toei decided to adapt less than one chapter per episode even though they started showing signs of it back then and right after the switch to HD. I might be misremembering but I feel like one piece looked slightly better then. |

| Chunin Exams that shit was fire, it had some of the best fights and also finally put Naruto in the others mind they had to take him serious from then on. Arrancar Arc. Bleach have some terrible pacing and fillers but the arrancar arc had some GOAT battles and cool characters even if it was lacking in other places. |

| I got 2 favorites in the Number 1 spot, those being the Enies Lobby Arc from One Piece and Pain's Assault Arc from Naruto Shippuden. I can't decide on which one I like more, so they're both at the top of my Favorite Shonen Arcs List. |
