| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hmmm, I think new OP song is pretty good, just as catchy as the first season's. We got a good amount of info dump and reflecting of the events in this show including the part about the heroes and villains. Deku still has a lot of thoughts about their encounter with the villains. I think in general, the episode did a decent job at getting the viewers back to the feel of this show again. Eraser Head is still such a badass. Good stuff so far. Nice to see most of the main cast back too. Little Ochako is adorable!  |

| Great OP! Great first episode. I like how All Might sent a letter to "the old guy" and they used that as a mini recap for the new viewers. First half of the episode was mostly flashbacks. They introduced a couple of new scenes with class interaction, that was cute. The staff seem to be really used with the designs now and the overall animation is really consistent. Top notch stuff, despite most of the episode being flashbacks. It's confirmed to have 25 episodes, hype bois. The ending with all of the girls is the best thing ever. |

Aaaand alright! We're finally back with more of my most highly anticipated series of the Spring anime season, if not the entire year! Firstly, pretty good new opening and ending, though I was fairly partial to the previous ones. Honestly too early to say which I liked more. As for the episode itself, it was a pretty solid reintroduction to the series I'd say. We got a nice little recap and breakdown from the UA staff of the recent villain invasion led by Shigaraki the man-child. XD And nice scenes with the girls in class, especially Uraraka! Simply too cute! XD Her desire for wealth to give her parents a better life was rather touching imo. I will be very interested in seeing how the pacing is handled going forward as they definitely don't seem to be in a hurry if this episode's 1 chapter(22) useage is any indication but...yeah, good start. :) |

| AOTS has arrived! Unfortunately there was some recapping, but that's ok. It's been a year since the last season. Can't wait for the sports festival! It already starts next week, really happy we're jumping right back into the action. Laughed a number of times this episode, the comedy was great. OP was meh, the ED was terrific. This show's endings are always better than its openings. So glad to be back! PLUS ULTRA! |

| Awesome, Awesome. Yes! I am so happy BnHA is back. XD Excellent reintroduction episode. The opening sequence with Deku's narration and the visuals were amazing. :O I loved the letter that All Might was writing, him reflecting on the events of the first season and passing on his power to Deku was really emotional. Also, yeah this will pretty much confirm the Stain Arc, So hype. XDD Few scenes were added namely, Deku's reflection in his house, most of the classroom scenes were extended and the hero meeting was rearranged to be shown before the announcement of the sports festival in the classroom. Still, everything flowed really well so no complaints. Jirou making fun of Kaminari is funny. xD Uraraka beast mode. XDD Little Uraraka is so adorable, that little flashback and her motivation to be a hero was kinda heartwarming. :) Iida reactions and poses though. :3 Loved the last scene with All Might telling Deku to show the world that he's here, I was waiting for that and knew they'd end the episode with it. :P Also, DID THEY JUST TAKE THE EPIC OST AND MAKE IT EVEN MORE EPIC? :O XD The soundtrack for the final scene was phenomenal. XD Damn, now I can't wait to hear the full version of You Say Run's remix. XD The OP is decent so far (Will probably grow on me) but I love the ED already. Visuals with the girls is just so good.<3 Can't wait for next week, 100% AoTS for me. Plus Ultra! |

| Coming from the manga, I had a massive grin on my face during the entirety of the episode. The art, the animation, the directing, and even Funimation's dub were amazing. The ED seemed to focus a lot on Uraraka which was interesting and I wonder why. The OP was good, but I still like the song from the first season better. Overall, Great first episode. Also... |

| I had one, little issue, with the first season - the pacing. With the earlier knowledge that this season will be 2-cour I thought to myself "maybe this time it won't be slow", but god I was wrong. Last week's recap was for the new audience in Japan mostly, since the 2nd season airing in different channel and time slot but the first 7 minutes just did the same, waste of time that could be used for better. I still love it but please, Bones, speed up a little. |
| It's back! Everything was perfect! The opening was dope and the ending was even better. Animation was to notch as expected of studio Bones. A bit of recap which i dont mind , I've rewatched Hero Academia about 4 times so it wasn't needed, but still nice. Sport festival arc is finally here. I'm just hoping it will be more than 12 episodes or atleast not only cover the Sport's festival arc. 12 episode per year while the manga has about 50ish per year, 12 is not enough. 24 would be more suitable |

| A good first episode with some nice build up for what's to come. The Uraraka backstory was done really nicely, and just felt so adorable. The OP was boring and just really meh which is a shame 'cause S1's OP was just so perfect. |

| Could've done with less recap, the UA sports festival sounds interesting. I like how deku looks up for the challenge this time around, he was a bit of a wimp in S1. |

| Nice first episode, had just enough recap to remember the last season I thought the OP and ED were pretty average, with ED doing a pretty big tone shift from the episode Art and animation are the same the last season, thats good Narrating in the beginning of the episode had me confused, for a second thought they changed MC's VA Episode itself was fun, bit with Olympics actually made a lot of sense Looking forward to the next episode Current score though is way too high |

| Not too sure how to feel about this OP, I don't want to compare it to the first season's, but I can't help but do so. Really wish they got Porno Graffitti again, but hopefully the song grows on me. | And here we go again! It's good to see My Hero Academia back in action and although the first episode had a bit of info dumping and flashbacks to the first season, it was still very good. Ochako's game face was really amusing, but her reason for being a hero in the first place because of her father's struggling construction firm was really honest and selfless of her. =) For All Might, he can't maintain his muscle form for much longer now all thanks to the climatic battle from season 1. I'm wondering how long it'll be before he loses his ability to go into his muscle form altogether... The OP song was good, but Porno Graffiti's OP from last season beats it for now. The ED with the girls in it was a nice listen too. So a very good start to season two and I'm hoping that the Sports Festival arc will live up to the hype. =D |
