Hey man I put the effort into engaging with members to create conversations.
So I don't really mind you coming back with more discussion pieces. On the other hand I am trying to create a conversation with 50+ people.
I don't know one person who isn't annoyed at something with Beatless XD.
Hibbington Mar 25, 2018 1:41 PM
Hey Any, thanks for participating in the Anime and Character of the Season Nominations.
Do you wish you could drop Beatless haha?
R3dShift Feb 16, 2018 12:09 PM
Lol, I assumed you accepted already for some reason.
R3dShift Feb 16, 2018 11:49 AM
Thanks for accepting! I think I found you from a comment on a friend's profile. It's great seeing Grand Blue at the top of your favourites. Much respect to you as well, lasting 119 days without dropping. You have a very nice tag system too.

Honestly, the length is why I initially took it off ptw a while back. It didn't sound like something I'd be into for even half the amount of episodes in the first 200+ episode series. It's kind of annoying when essential arcs are mixed in lots of random comedy arcs, but as you said, 36 episodes is better than 0, if you're trying to get someone to watch, and it's easier on the person (me), who you're trying to convince. I'll take a look at Gintama10000 ed; if it's of similar quality to the op, it'll be really good. I'll have to get around to Gintama after I finish up some other series, but it shouldn't take too long to get to it.
AobaSuzukaze Feb 15, 2018 6:39 AM
"Kinda sorta not really. Most of the story bits and characters were established and developed long before Gintama10000. Gintama10000 is the final part btw. Unless you REALLY want to watch the final part first, I heavily advise you watch the other seasons. They're all pretty consistent in the quality of their humor/action too, but I can understand why the time investment looks daunting. I'd recommend watching the last two seasons, but still there's a ton of characters and details missing."

It makes more sense to respond here rather than in the contest thread. Thanks for answering the question. The opening made the show look good, so I was going to give a shot at some point if it was understandable without watching everything previously. I'm certainly not watching 350+ episodes before getting to the last few parts because I'm not that enthused to watch from the newest opening. You did say that watching the last 3 seasons should make it more understandable, though, so I'll keep in consideration. Watching around 36-40 episodes of so is much more reasonable than over 300. I'm sure it'll end up being good, even with some characters missing. so, thanks for the info.

Yeah i also got my switch for christmas and already have mario, zelda, splatoon, fire emblem and xenoblade as i also had my birthday and just picked up the rest of the games myself.
Mario was a lot of fun but the main story was pretty short and the story was still basically a normal mario even with the new gameplay.
Im still enjoying splatoon quite a bit as well as i never played the original (i think it was a wii U game, which i never had).

Hey sorry I totally missed responding to that. Happy late new year :D

I havnt been on the forums much as I’m kind of trying to catch up on Manga, though havnt put much progress into that.
Though I’ve actually started to watch a decent amount of anime and I’m currently watching two seasonals (which I’ve never done before)

I also recently got a switch, probably my favorite game of that so far is xenoblade 2, though there is an insane amount of cutscenes.
I also never responded to your message from the 10th either (sorry I suck so I’ll make a quick response for that
For games I do play on hard difficulty, but I highly prefer story heavy games over games that are just gameplay. Especially emotional games as I enjoy the music in games like that.
For bloodborne and dark souls it was kind of odd for me, I did pretty decently at bloodborne but I then played ds3 afterwords and some of the bosses have killed me so many times. One boss in specific must’ve killed me like 30-50 times (I don’t really keep track), so even though I play on hard I’m really just used to dying a lot.

Also on your comments you said you where ranking all the games you’ve played. Damn that would be hard for me. I can rank anime somewhat well, but for games I can’t even come up with a definitive top ten games I’ve played. After even like top three it starts getting a bit iffy on where stuff should go.

There's several hours of my life I will never get back. https://pastebin.com/U7DjLx4x

I also plan on ranking all the games I've beaten/played extensively, which amounts to 160 games.(Funny coincidence since I'm 16)
I'll be using pastebin so my profile doesn't get any longer than it already is.

Just spent an hour and a half rescoring my vndb to be more in line with my MAL scores, and it still needs editing. Oof.
Extect Dec 9, 2017 8:44 PM
Wow that was massive and i read it on my phone so it took up liking multiple screens. Ill try to start from the bottom and go up

My tags are mostly just used for a couple thoughts and i thought most of them where prett weak. Here i thought your tags where much more helpfull as they organized and added to the list. I put "axed" for most series that stop getting updated suddenly without an ending (so i assume its axed, but it could be translators as well). Usually these series dont get chapter counts on mal as well so it can get annoying. Absolute duo could be something i messed up though so i could recheck that.

Im also hoping to get a switch soon (either for christmas or buy one). I have a lot of games i have to try on it such as xenoblade, mario and zelda. I recently played bloodborne as well and that was amazing (probably about my third favorite game currently). The settiny and atmosphere of the story was definitely the high point, and i bought ds3 while i was playing and started that up afterwords. Im having a harder time with the combat as it doesnt fit my playstyle as well and i dont quite care for it as much but its still enjoyable.

Thats cool that you got some physical copies. With 12 volumes you actually already have a bit more than i do haha. But i recently bought part ld children of the sea because i was interested in it and couldnt read it online (plan to get the rest soon).
Also i havnt been reading for a while because i forgot my tablet at my moms house and wont be heading back until winter break in a couple weeks (after finals) so ive played more games than normal instead.

You are correct that i liked dangonronpa V3. I thought it had the best cast out of the series and also enjoyed the endint, though its obviously an ending that is going to get a lot of hate. One thing though is there was some open ended-ness on whether it took place in an alternate universe or if the culprit was lying about the situation.

I would type more but my phones about to die and i dont want to lose what i wrote, so ill leave it at this for now

Hey Any13th,

Since you had participated in a number of seasonal threads over at AG and have seen quite a number of anime that aired this year, I wanted to invite you to take part in the guild's annual Anime Trivia Challenge in case the notification bugged out. It's basically a series of rounds that test your knowledge of the anime that have aired in the year. In contrast to previous years, participants would need to sign up in the sign-up thread in advance, so if you are interested in participating you may head over to https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1684592 to sign up/find out more :)

If you have any questions, feel free to message me.
Cheers!

Ah okay a limited RNG makes more sense than what I was thinking of. I know somebody who uses RNG to choose a random word and then watches all the anime with that word in it. That would kill me of boredom.

So you aren't good with horror things? I didn't think it was very scary personally but I'm a huge sucker for sad/bittersweet.

For the VNs you recc'd, I played a couple routes of clannad (both twins (long hair twin was my favorite character and it was difficult to get her route) and tomoyo, but I had to beat other routes before seeing tomoyos ending so I ended up stopping there, as I really didn't care for any of the other characters), umineko I've been planning to play, really the sprite art in higurashi turns me off towards the game quite a bit (but I enjoyed most of the manga arcs), and I played a bit of fruit of Grisai but I can't remember if I beat 1 route or only made it half way or something and then I ended up getting a virus on my laptop (from one of the VN I downloaded) and had to factory reset so I stopped pirating VNs after that. I did buy steins gate on steam though and I've heard the VN is better than the anime for that.

Good luck with that, but don't force yourself if you end up wanting to watch anime. If you ever want to talk about any series you've read, just let me know. Even if I haven't read it I'd probably be able to read it over other stuff (as I do fall behind on stuff in my currently reading list that I care less about)

Re: Kana Hanazawa in 3-Gatsu no Lion's 2nd ED

She sung in the " "Nyaa Shougi Ondo" song for Episode 7, which was done by the Kawamoto sisters.
