| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well King is fighting on another level here against Guila. Nice. The fight felt pretty fast imo but it was fine. Also, I find his original form pretty amusing to watch. Still, I wish they would do more flashbacks for Ban. Kinda amusing how they lost their key items when asked my King. Freaking priceless. Besides the action, I suppose the episode had a decent buildup besides the rush. |

| FukuJun's character's weapon can give damage to that holy knight, it seems. End of battle and they are "disappearing" (leaving the world of dead). So those pair of siblings of the village was originally from that world. lol @ what KajiKaji's character did to the female holy knight. lol @ FukuJun's character can change form using the magic. He is back to his chubby form when realizing that she's princess. FukuJun's character is angry at everyone else lost or sold their weapons. First up, titan girl's hammer. More holy knights appearing to get them for the competition to get the hammer. Drinking monster's blood is the source of getting huge power immediately, but not everyone is capable. Chibi preview... Suzuki-san's character being tortured to show how immortal he is. Raw for me next week because of JLPT N1 test during the broadcast |

| Did anyone else recognize Gowther as the green-haired guy looking at Meliodas and c.o? I'm not sure if I should fangirl or be upset because he's NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THERE. He's supposed to be somewhere COMPLETELY different. Introducing him now would mean skipping a whole sub-arc and it just makes me sad |

| Legit question. What prevents studios from doing straight adaptations of the source material? I don't get it. It's not like they've been tasked to come up with original ideas. The story has already been mapped out for them. I really don't know why it seems so hard for studios to just go ahead directly show what made a series popular in the first place. A-1 did the same with Ao no Exorcist and Magi, and now NnT can be added to the list. Am I missing something? |

The worst is that they aren't making a original story, showing something different, just skipping to adapt move fast In A1 case, the impression I have is that they haven't funds or don't want to spend too much in only one series, so they animate most of the chapters they can to make more money with a lot of promising new mangas. |

No logic at all >~< That being said, it wasn't as bad as I feared from what u guys are saying. I have no idea why they skipped the Veronica kidnapping part? I wanted the slow motion >.<!! And the F***N SHADOW!!! WHY U DO THIS A-1?!?!?! I've been regaining my trust in u lately but u have to go and do this. And the pace felt really fast. Felt no transition between scenes. I can still see the Veronica kidnapping part and the shadow being done later but I just don't get why they have to do it like this. Anyway...Loved the fight. BA King was awesome! Guila got destroyed!!! :D King wasn't even trying lol Glad they kept the explanation about the Sacred Treasures. Lol'd so much at the Stolen, sold, lost part XDXDXD So chill ROFL. Diane was kawaii when asking if she's a bad girl <3 Dat Hadaka Apron XD Ban so lol. But really as I said, friggin Fast pace already at the tourney O_o Slow down a bit A-1 plz! They really are planning to finish the nxt arc aren't they D: So much rushed pace incoming :( |

| This is the first time i agree with them skipping some events. Because they were boring and unnecessary in term of building up. Elizabeth was kidnapped and then rescued nothing changed. And Meliodas wrath and care about her, it's not something new. Although about Veronica, Elizabeth said that she have a sister. 4/5 |

I don't think that stuff in a story have to be so strict with what is important in a plot or not, but what is important in a story-telling. Like the case with Ban and the medic's daughter. Ban robbing her dagger isn't important at all, but serve to the author portraing Ban as a rude bandit and to made us expect a more tense meeting with Meliodas. And for your information, that fight in slow-motion while the cup is falling was pure art u.u |

| Awwwn, I wanted to see Meliodas kick that fatass dude. I'll have to wait an whole weak for that :( The supposely holy knights are making pacts with the demons... Well, they aren't all holy as they made it look like. Too bad it's that girl who drank the blood, I thought she would switch side at some point, but I think she crossed a line on which she can't go back. The other dude exploding was hilarious though. |

| I liked how Elaine described King like that! Seeing King fight was pretty nice to see! He being the King of Fairies too! Their reaction when King asked about their holy weapons xD Interesting to see the powers it brings especially Meliodas! Jericho being the one to puke blood yet the one surviving. Drinking the demons blood to receive immense power. New generation holy knights! Ban and Meliodas being so eager to launch some fists xD With some holy knights joining in! |

| I had this weird feeling that they were skipping a lot of stuff in the manga while watching this episode iirc, then I went to double check with the manga, and wow the skipping is getting worse every week. |
| Ah this episode was great! Fukujun's doing such a great job as king, I didn't know he had that kind of range. As an anime only viewer the story has been very exciting and coherent so far, I'm loving where the plot seems to be going and all of the protags except Diane are likeable. I know A-1 is a derpy studio and they tend to derp quite often, but I still think they can make good anime even while pissing off original source fans. As long as people like me are enjoying it, try not to get so worked up about it. I would have never looked at the manga or cared about NnT if I hadn't seen the anime, but now I do want to go and read the manga. It's doing what it's supposed to do, bringing in new fans On another note, is it just me or is all of A-1's budget going into Your Lie in April and SAO II? I love this show, but it would be nice if it had better graphics and more production tlc. Maybe it'll improve after SAO ends? |

| Something is wrong with the pacing of this episode and the transitioning is kinda awful. In my memory, both seasons had derp faces/lazy animation even near the beginning. Yeah probably not the first two or three episodes though because they need to give good impression. I don't know for sure how budgeting works in anime, but I always assumed (after reading few sites regarding anime production) that an anime is usually given a certain budget to be produced, and in the case of manga or LN adaptations, apparently the publishers are the ones that give the budget. And then I guess it's up to the animation studio to appropriate the budget for each episode, that's why people say something like, "oh xx animation studio must've saved their budget [for the action] in this episode!!!" Or something like that. Anyways, I say don't count on the quality improving very much. Although SAO ends this season, A-1 is doing 3 more new anime (Saenai Heroine, Aldnoah.Zero 2, IDOLM@STER) in the winter season... OT: I liked seeing how OP King was and how he gave Guila a nice beating. I expected Meliodas to be the strongest, but apparently it's because he, Ban, and Diane don't have their sacred weapon or wtv they called it. LOL though at their reasons for not having it with them anymore...How do a misplace a giant hammer? o_o And did Meliodas really sell his? Though I guess it's not unlike him. Ban I guess has a legit reason since he was captured. Manga readers are starting to complain so I guess that's my cue to read the manga from where I left off :D |

| Great episode. The Anime definitely is interesting even now. I enjoyed King's fight a lot. This episode was also surprisingly funny, which was nice. Curious how the demon blood'll affect the rest of the knight mooks. |

| Lmao, they didn't included the reason why Ban has been called "Undead Ban" and the last scene of his flashback with Elaine. But, overall, nice episode. Kinda uncomfortable with Hauser voice though. |

| lol ban wearing an apron. enjoyed the episode but reading the comments i now know why it felt so rushed at the end. king joins, they talk about their weapons suddenly we are in a new town there is a tournament and diane's hammer is the price. would be sad if they are trying to rush through the series sicne iam enjoying it alot more than i thought i would. |
| Lol!!!! Guila's Arrogance got pretty good beating...King is officially one of the biggest Bad Asses in this series. Seriously Guila says: "Please bring it o.....Stab!!! she got her ass kicked. MELIODAS!!! XD What a way of revenge!!! Harlequin....I like your younger form than that Old man....tough ban Reaction was hilarious...It was same as mine was...I almost too took spit take when King did that First time. *COUGH COUGH* DAMN...took spit into wrong way when I Started to laugh when I learned what happened to Holy Weapons and King's Reaction. Hauser's Seiyu fits him too...who is his Seiyu? I have heard him in some anime...don't remember it. Dreyfus is good friends with Hendricksen...wasn't he started to hate him? | This shounen really keeps being promising and enjoyable to watch, it gives a lot of genuine laughs and decent fights. I hope that girl will switch side someday. Also, isn't Meliodas' sword his sacred treasure? I thought so .. |
