Since (most of) the anime we all love takes place in high school, I thought it would be nice if we talked about high school ourselves.

So here's the question: What is the biggest challenge in high school you are currently facing OR What was the biggest challenge in high school you faced?

The social aspect. Always managed to maintain a 3.5 gpa despite pretty much never studying at home, so grades weren't really a concern. Friends on the other hand, were severely lacking.

Perhaps your classmates found you intimidating to approach? Because of your intelligence? (Not saying you are a socially incompatible person)

Nah, it was my own doing. I'm a fairly closed off person to begin with, never talked much during class, avoided the crowds, never stood out or even tried to. I don't mean i didn't have friends, i just didn't have any best friends, or even friends that i stay in contact with after graduation.

Probably Math as well. On a different aspect, teen angst was one of my hardest phase in highschool but I'm glad I got over that.

Finding who you are. When I came to high school as a freshman, I was quiet and sad. But when i came to college as a freshman i was happy and sure of what I was about. I figured out through high school the kind of person I wanted to be and became it. It was weirdly nice.

In 10th grade I thought, "Heh, I'm not gonna be one of those angry depressed teens who always whine about dying and.....wait a sec....I'm going to die?! When the fuck did I realize this????!!!!" And became one of those angry depressed teens.

Then by 11th grade I had no fucks left to give so after that it was smooth sailing. :)

^This. Im still at a loss. I wanted to be an accountant but my program forces me to take marketing and economics and theyre so boring I cant stay awake in class or retain anything I read. I might just become a math teacher since thats easy and you get weekends and summers off.

For me.. it was going to school, I rarely went there anyway so.. It became even harder.. but I did graduate with pretty good grades to be honest, mostly A's and a few B's.

My worst subject would most likely be... Portuguese.

But I never paid attention in school, regretted it while I was at school, but now that I'm working and I can do whatever course I want for a fee I feel school was kinda pointless.

I finished high school last year, but in hindsight, school really wasn't too bad. I hated getting up for school in the morning because it depressed me, not because I didn't have any friends or was bad at school, but because I had to be around annoying people I didn't like. It annoyed me so much when there would be stupid people in class mucking up, and disrupting other people's learning, especially in senior years. They could have left school if they really wanted to, but no, they decided to stay in school because they probably didn't want to go and get a job, annoying people who actually cared about going well in the process. So essentially, besides from physically getting up out of bed in the morning, having to be around drop kicks was one thing I hated about high school. .-.

Showing teachers their place. The less scientific the subject, the more harder it was for me to make clear, that I am wasting my time. My classmates were always nice enough to just ignore me, which made me quite happy.

The hardest thing in high school occurs as a result of repressed men, coming together with women who have perfected techniques at accentuating their outward appearance. It is also an entity which many people have hit many times; however unlike your metaphor some are unlucky enough to break it.
