I don't have to watch it, and it's not like its going to make the market for my type fanservice vanish. And as a matter of principle, I find the idea of them existing to be agreeable. But I do think most of the gender-equivalent market for ecchi fans tend to just go into Yaoi/Yuri. So I don't think it's an actual solution for anything beyond some farcical brand of equality. It'd take a lot of people actually wanting manservice to come up and outwardly want this thing for me to support it more - not my war, not my fight, not fighting it alone. But I would if the environment shifted. It's absolutely goddamn fine for it to be around and for that demand to be filled. |

| Having a balance of fanservice and manservice would be a solution since disc sales are dropping and anime is becoming more reliant on streaming (there would most likely be more profit from streaming of manservice anime than disc sales), however, this would require streaming on the Japanese side to increase dramatically. |
