Lol, the boys are trying to stir up trouble by actually taking advantage of the body swap. Clever.

Some tense drama and history reminiscence later

Overall, great episode.

I liked a lot how the stripping in the following,

proceeded. It was fun.

However the real deal start in the half point episode. That is of the following,

Now that was totally not cool seeing Yui cry like that on her bed. Totally not of her at all. What really did make up is her resolving it with Taichi in the spoiler
the whole kicking was so painful for Taichi yet Yui was much better off venting out like that.
She was MOE too on top of that. Liked seeing her like that. It suits her more.

Add to that the aftermath in the spoiler
and we have a resolved smiling Yui once again. Which really pleased me at how it got solved nicely and positively.

About thee end of the episode, well I certainly went OMG Inaba! NOOOOOOOOO! In the spoiler
suddenly falling KO? Sudden weakness! Aaaaargh! It was very bad for me to see this. I did not want Inaba to be suddenly weak like that out of nowhere. Good thing Taichi was around to help her. Her blush after was nice to see. Well Taichi is a BRO!

Kokoro Connect is becoming much more dramatic and nice. It certainly shows resolves being done nicely. Might edit later.

Hmmm, I wonder if Yui will like Taichi more than Aoki. I sort of feel bad for Aoki. I still think Inaba is right. All of the switching will eventually hurt of few of them.

This show is surprisingly good. I really thought that with the whole personality swapping business that this show would turn out to be some crappy fanservice filled comedy, but it's pretty much the opposite.

It seems that I was pretty much right on Yui's issues (it was obvious) and it was hilarious how the solution to her problems was to let her in on every man's weakness, doubly so when Taichi switched back in the middle of it. Though I'm really interested in Aoki's problems, Inaba said that she has hte biggest problems out of all of them but I just can't think of what that could possibly be.

Great episode 5/5. I really hope this stay's as strong as it is becuase this could become one of my summer favorites.

Same here :)

This is one of those series that surprised me and loving the drama without the fan-service right now. Hope it can keep it up.

Hopefully there's an Inaba-filled episode next. She's my favourite character.

Really interesting episode. We got the chance to learn more about Kiriyama, which felt really nice to me.

Can't wait for next ep to see what happened with Inaba though.

I thought Yui's phobia was related to violence but almost rape is pretty shocking luckily she managed to get away.
And about Taichi's advice it's the same advice i would have given a kick in the nuts seriously hurts allot and even paralyses a guy for a moment.
It's decently the most effective way to fend of a guy.
Tho i have to say that Taichi is a brave guy for doing that to his own body.

The conversation between Inaba and Taichi was pretty interesting after last weeks cliffhanger i hope Taichi realises a bit more about Iori's feelings now and maybe there will be some romance between them in future episodes can't wait to be honest.

The cliffhanger looked pretty bad as well hope everything will be alright for Inaba.
This brings to mind one question tho was her collapse due to the body swapping or due to something else it could be from stress or not being able to sleep but there could be more behind it.
Can't wait till the next episode.

Excellent episode!

The blend of drama and comedy works really well here once again. Yui's struggles were very nicely developed and concluded. Inaba and Taichi remain my favorite characters, so I'm hoping for a bit of eventual romance between them, although it seems to be headed toward a potential triangle. Can't wait for the next episode.

Really loving this show so far. Each episode has been an improvement over the last.

I know this is just PG-13, but there is a surprising lack of groping. I mean they are teenagers right?

Anyways as for the falling at the end of the episode, could it just be that the person who switched with her was just sleeping or something?

This just keeps getting better, i loved how it managed to go from drama to comedy so smoothly. Another great thing is that androphobia bussiness probably won't be all that relevant anymore, series tend to drag on with this kind of thing.
Now what's up with Inaban?

This episode did a really good job of balancing comedy with drama. I think Inaba's right about Iori being the most troubled one of them all. In shows such as these, it's usually the one who always smiling who has the most serious issues.

I wonder what's going on in Iori head.

I already got the feeling that Iori might be the most unstable one out of the bunch as Inaba pointed out though I was surprised that she noticed it.

It's good to see that this series shifts away from the crude echii hijinls to more serious matters though the drama still lacks impact for me which is partly because of the half-baked directing.

I also love to see Taichi to realize the feelings of Iori, I really sense Iori's jealousy on saying its not her business on what's going on about Taichi and Yui.

If any of you notice on the ED the last part where Iori is passing the ball that symbolizes their hearts to Taichi I really think that Iori and Taichi will end up together and I hope that it will really happen. :D

This series hurts. I mean, the romance. Omg, Can't imagine one of them getting heartbroken. Aoki > Yui > Taichi > < Iori and Inaba > Taichi?

Damn. The Romance, Drama and Seriousness is leevling up every episode. I seriously thought too that it will be just a rom-com moe fanservice but... awesome. Might be the 2nd or 3rd best Anime this season.

Great Episode 5/5.

When did this become my second favorite show of the season after Jinrui, I wonder...

A great episode, with boys being boys in the beginning, then MC getting stuff done. I'm sure it has happened before, but this was the first time I witnessed a girl getting kicked in the nuts. It also seems Inaba is not as strong as she wants the others to believe. Please keep going strong Kokoro Connect, surprisingly good show 5/5.

Edit: And yeah, the romance progression does not bode well for all participants. At least one person is going to suffer...

2. Poor Aoki.
3. The dynamic between all the characters are well done.
4. Inaba? Inaba!

I think Yui might have actually fallen for Taichi. Taichi sacrificed his babies to help cure Yui of her androphobia. No man would ever do that unless he's one hell of a man. Kudos to Taichi and Yui. Now Taichi might have built a small harem with Iori, Inaba and Yui. Poor Aoki, lol.

Taichi broke his own balls like a boss!

He really is a natural player. Girls can't seem to resist.
If this goes on and every girl fall for Taichi, it'd be quite problematic. This is not that kind of generic harem after all.

What happened to Inaban?!

NEED MORE IORI!!!

On a side note, I notice that everyone call Taichi by his first name, but he, in turn, calls them by their family names.
Does this imply something?

The irony is that whoever Taichi ends up with, he won't be able to have kids. XD

It bothers me a little too... it might just be Taichi being clueless, not noticing he's actually being called on first name basis while he keeps using family names out of respect.

Ya know, I guess I'm the one of few people rooting for Aoki. Something about not giving him a chance to shine when it matters the most, really annoys me. Of course when comes to anime like these it sucks being the supporting male character. You only around for comedy relief and no one really gets to see you when you get serious. "sigh" I'm really hoping Aoki finds romance at the end, because he's the character I'm relating to.

And taichi seems to have a saving people thing, even hurting himself like that in the process.

About the end, I'm worried about Inaba, since I like her the best =/

I have the same feeling, but if he really likes Inaba i will hate it forever.Iori deserves love the most, she needs someone who can be there for her, and she actually likes Taichi.

So yeah, the only thing that kinda ''annoys'' me in this series so far is all girls possibly liking Taichi. He's clueless that he actually hurts 2 of his friends.Iori, by possibly liking Inaba and having fun with Yui, and Aoki, who as well likes Yui and need to watch all girls gathering around him.
I hope he will notice everyone's feelings very soon.

I think that Inaba and Taichis talk at the beginning episode about Iori, along with the scene right before the first half of the ep ends, is showing that Iori(or her mom) is moving/ getting a promotion. She might be moving in with her Dad. I mean that’s just my first guess. The girls seem to be really trusting of Inaba, and Inaba is all about subtle hints(until she gets pissed and just yells it at you). Ioris Mom is really busy. So them making time to go out has to be big news. After Iori says really, there is a short pause that leads me to believe that while she’s happy for her mom, she is not happy about the news and is just putting on a happy face for her.

In other news, rape is a tough subject, and in my opinion it’s being used far to often in media nowadays. Rape is becoming the new “my parents were murdered”. Now both of these things can be great for development but you have to have the character depth and ability to actually write it into a story instead of just using it as a tool to get fake pity and emotions. In this case, I’m still a little hesitant to say it was put to great use. But it was done okay, I’ve seen much worse, and it did reinforce the idea that no matter what(or how awkward it’d be) he’d be there trying to help his friends. I mean visibly shaking around Men seems to much deeper issue that would take years of therapy to even help a little bit. While I’m sure learning that kicking guys in the balls is a great tool(here in America, I think that’s pretty widely known, not so sure about Japan.) I don’t know if it would really give her that much power back in her mind. Nonetheless it was done okay, and it was really just done to prove how far Taichi is willing to go to help his friends.

The flow during the show is really well done. The comedy is great, and the serious parts are equally well done. Neither one of these transitions to the other feel awkward. It’s all completely natural and they’re put into appropriate places. It makes it that much more enjoyable to not have to worry about any of these parts stepping on each other in this show.

I’m liking all the Seiyuus, It’s fun to see them all act like each other. I could only imagine the horror this show would be if they didn’t switch voices when they switched bodies. That’s one thing I’ve always hated when shows would do this trope and not switch the voices so the viewer wouldn’t get lost if they just tuned in and this is a much smarter thing to do. It makes it more fun, you can create jokes with it. It’s more…realistic.

Anyway, looking forward to finding out whats wrong with Inaba. Hopefully we’ll be finding out more about her next week!

This show is still doing really good in my book. I’d say this week was a little less interesting then last week, but that’s just little nitpicks, so no big deal.
