Cosette in a nutshell..I almost thought she'd break Takt's neck for a second.

Also got to see some of her charming side. She seems to get well with kids and Anna also seems to understand her feelings. Episode is chill until the final few minutes. Still no place safe in their world or timeline. Takt also looked pissed this episode so I'm expecting a massive fight.

So Takt is composing a music
That's why Takt's eye bags darkened, he seemed to be thinking very hard about it.

I laughed when Anna gave Takt a melodica lmao. well, better than nothing. So Cosette borrowed the melodica.

I love Cosette noises when she's eating lmao.

Takt in the beginning looked like he was binging a series last night. Also, nice to see Hell once again in the show. And, the black-haired girl is beautiful. LMAO, Destiny doing dumb and funny things... LOL. Takt acting like a stalker. Destiny was too cute in this episode.

The action sequence was just as good as ever. But, so many D2s out there. The next week should be quite a show. Can't wait for it.

Takt's being restless as he wants to compose a piece, looks like he took that suggestion from last time quite seriously. Good to see him being determined and devoted to something.

That Chief Commander just can't be more unbearable than this. Put an end to him, Takt.

Oh Jesus!

I thought she actually snapped Takt's neck here. Crisis adverted. But damn, to think that Hell ability was what caused the incident that turned Cosette into Destiny (and ravaged the city in the process).

It's really fun to watch Destiny grow. It was nice seeing her giving out candies to kids. She's even caring of Takt now which is sweet. Thou this villain is too cliché. Things would be much better without him so I hope they get rid of him soon. Also good to see Titan again.

The trip to New York gets even more scarier and creepier...

The character study of Felix Schindler and his Musicart Hell, I'm already beginning to think that Felix's a 2nd-rate villain antagonist with no spine and being less regarded by Sagan.

Welp, Takt being very obsessed with his song composition so much that Cosette almost twisted and broke his neck, don't try to mess with her with her usual deadpan expression. Using a melodica is better than nothing, but having Destiny's rebuttal conversation broke his flow.

It's interesting to see Cosette being more human with helping out the less fortunate and the desolate, other than just called to fight D2s. Anna sure hopes that Destiny would one day revert back to Cosette, keep dreaming for that.

In regards to the D2s, I have to admit that it's frustrating to have a stopgap villain like Felix acting like a lunatic hero, he was the one that depicted Cosette's downfall into the Musicart conversion phase. A cliché villain whose removal is easily done by the next episode.

BTW, we're already well into the 2nd half of the show, and this is already beginning to look like a wretched disappointment.

What is bad about this episode is the beginning, make a checkpoint against a creature that by common knowledge is more animal like and cant be hurt by normal guns, and ended just stopping people that will enter the city anyways, and to scream exposition.

Was cool episode overall, we see Destiny doing her things, and we learn that Takt still don't get how important he is.
Now Takt discovered that Cosette was murdered and now he is without much energy to fight, because sleep isn't important.

I knew the head maestro was a POS. As soon as he showed up on screen he gave boss vibes. Didn’t expect him to be behind cosette’s death tho. Fuck that guy, can’t wait to see the sakuga we have next week.

Umm...well how do I feel about this development....SHIEEEEETTTT

Well fuck I guess it was predictable in my damned imagination that Felix is our antagonist. We already saw Jigoku on Episode 2 as she looks into the destroyed city that Takt has his first battle in. I mean the show couldn't get worse enough right? And with this fucking shitty twist, I guess we're only getting one cour here....this is screaming of a disaster ending.

But hey Takt is composing music, and he couldn't get sleep because of it (I feel you there). And Destiny is the best part of this episode in all the right reasons. Though Cosette might be dead, and Anna is feeling depressed because of it, she (now as Unmei/Destiny) is showing growth compared to her bland self in Episode 3. I wish she'll carry Takt to become a decent person, and hey I wonder how she will do now that we have a possible civil war coming in the next few episodes.

Gosh how far this anime went down...

Destiny is more and more like corsette she gives her best to help the people and takt.

So he was who send the D2 this Day in the city and kill corsette no way, tbh this episode was one of the best.

so he will compose his music piece and dedicate it to cosette? also it seems like Lenny and titan are on the way to help takt and destiny out. also probably the grand maestro Sagan and his music art will appear soon too

i have a feeling that destiny will regain some of cosettes memories after the fight and probably after listening to the takts music piece

Sure it's hard to deal with Destiny/Cosette identity and it kinda hurts, but damn that Felix guy is really the antagonist this time, thanks to his musicart's power they can attract all the D2 to different cities to kill people there, that's horrible... I hope that they'll beat him as soon as possible and save people

Seeing wrecked towns like that is always disheartening. But given their specialist role its a given that they can't be deployed everywhere. The head commander's ego really is large though. Cosette's way of stopping Takt's tapping sure was extreme. Despite her default nature its nice seeing her try and help the baby and her mother at the evac camp by bringing them supplies. The talk between Takt and Cosette though did well in showing how Takt viewed Cosette when she was still alive. Annoying as he is I didn't think that the head commander would have the balls to enact his plan though. Not to mention he was the origin of the pain that Takt and Anna still suffer from. Overall a pretty balanced ep that while doing well in expanding upon Destiny also did well to introduce the first proper villain within the series. Curious though whether Destiny would end up facing Hell as well next ep. Hopefully Lenny and Titan will get there in time to help as well.

Great episode! Takt wasn't looking too good this episode and it seems to be because he is composing his first song. Whilst he was trying to compose his own song, however, Destiny transformed and took his arm xD. Takt's shocked reaction was funny to see. Another thing I found funny was when they seemingly didn't hire a voice actor for Takt's dad probably to save some money or something else lol. Destiny is pretty nice helping out people with shopping and stuff. I like her more now. The guy who says Jesus is also pretty funny.
Woah. Hell can attract D2s... some musicart she is when she's supposed to be fighting them. She and the commander have been making them D2s appear in large amounts around the area.

Looking forward to the next episode!

On this week's episode we get: Thanos! At least he doesn't want universe-wide genocide this time. Just on earth. That's a bit better I guess

Ah yes the typical cut to black just before the big fight to serve as a cliffhanger! I don't mind at all, just as long as they don't pull a Platinum End and tease a big fight then when the next episode comes everyone just leaves

This episode was actually much better than what we've gotten recently. Better for sure than that side-quest episode we got last week. We certainly get some progress regarding the "story" as well as some building up of some character relationships, which of course is between takt and destiny. Or Cosette. Could she still be in there? Who knows.

Also that FOREST THOUGH. BEAUTIFUL. It's like Roger Deakins stepped in to do the cinematography for a quick second and took the forest scene. Too bad it's just for a fleeting moment before they head out to fight Thanos- er, the chief commander

You took one shot from a fight scene in motion, that doesn't even look bad, and complained?

The second one is wack, but don't act like every other anime doesn't have shots like that lol. Even the best-animated shows have off-looking shots. Doesn't make the animators lazy. Calling them lazy is just insulting and rude. They're working hard on this show.

Also, https://imgur.com/a/1tFHRJ6 There are plenty of great frames as well. So what's your point?

I wish we could've seen Destiny gradually begin to change her ways rather than just having the shift occur in a single moment that baffles even the protagonist. Besides that, this was relatively a good ep for this series. My only other complaint, which isn't much of one, is that I went back to episode 2 and was hoping to hear a faint sign of that ringing that might have foreshadowed this twist. As far as I could tell, it isn't heard. The commander was there though, of course.

Damn, I was taken a bit surprised when Destiny twisted Takt's head like that. That must've hurt like hell.

The episode itself was pretty good. Destiny's character progression is going along nicely, as was shown when she was helping out the citizens of the town while also taking note of the fact that Anne doesn't call her Cosette anymore.

As for Takt, it's nice to see him taking something seriously, which was him trying to write a new song and his growing bags under his eyes shows he's trying his best, even if he hasn't made too much progress with the song yet.

However, the spoilt brat commander from a little while ago has returned, with his arrogance levels going off the radar. Not only can he have his musciart summon many D2 at once, but he was responsible for the attack that killed Cosette back in episode 2. I do look forward to this grudge match between the 2 parties.

Nice, both Cosette and Takt are becoming stronger and more attached to each other. I like it that way. I think that the fight will last only until Takt can't fight anymore and the Head Master will interrupt it. Or they lose, which will be interesting if that does happen. Truth is that I would want more development from Takt and Cosette, they have learned only the basics and aren't really far in terms of skill in battle, so I don't expect them to win against Schindler by themselves, I hope though that things get more interesting in the next episodes, the casual D2 fights and conversations really aren't selling it for me.

Was great to see a bit of development for Destiny. Also for her to understand in who's body she resides. I found it pretty cute.

As predictable as it is, comes to no surprise that the head commander was going to be the antagonist, especially after getting denied to pursue Takt and Destiny any further by Sagan. Even though Sagan is not in the clear yet himself... still very suspicious. But that Hell is going to be a pain to defeat.

The cartoon villain shows that he really is a delusional cartoon villain. Feels like we just met this guy but maybe this is only 12 eps so I guess they wanna do it now... What a stupid motivation as well. As if the original appearance of D2 wouldn't have killed so many people already.

Well Destiny is gaining somewhat of a personality I suppose. Or maybe she is just turning back into OG Cosette to a degree. Uncertain.

I would be hella pissed of too, kill him Takt :D but I guess he would not die but still teach him a lesson

On the one hand, it's negative surprise that evil guy is evil. On the other hand, his motivation is so bad. Even putting aside the kill wildly with creatures you barely understand that divert musicart resources, how is this an overpopulation situation? Most of our set pieces have been abandoned. I could understand farmland being abandoned and supply lines being down, but then your problems are isolated communities starving. They'll die off on their own just fine.

This is a seriously poorly written villain. Genuinely, where does his hatred of Takt come from? He's essentially just minding his own business, and not getting in the way of his plans. Takt wouldn't have even known he was a bad guy without him monologuing about his nefarious plans.

I'm fine with villains who are just evil for the sake of being evil, but this guy is just evil for the sake of being stupid.
