| Awwww Amuro kissed Fraw on the cheek, so cute! It also seems to be the first time somebody didn't hit Kamille. Bravo, Hayato! Cyber-Newtype o_O Also all this talk about Newtype labs. I remember the Flanagan Institute though so it shouldn't be surprising. By the way, doesn't this new woman NT pilot look like a certain character from Macross when she's without a helmet and with long hair? Amuro: hijacked a plane, performed a kamikaze attack and sensed Char with his typical Newtype stuff. Can this get any better? We also get Katz chillin' in the air. I teared up at the glorious reunion, and damn that still shot at the end :3 By the way, I just gotta notice that the show has just dropped Blex out of existence since episode 9. P.S. The Republic of Zeon is mentioned once again. Waiting for it to enter the game. |

| Ha, Katz sure managed to get under Amuro's skin to make him pull a stunt like this. Char and Amuro sensing each other was gay af, I love it. Cyber Newtypes are a thing now, eh? Funny how the earth federation seems afraid of getting taking over by human newtypes, but aren't afraid to artificially create them? Maybe they got control over them or something, but every sci-fi story ever leads me to believe this couldn't end well. |
| Amuro taking down that mobile suit with a plane was a great scene, as was him meeting Char again. Probably the best episode of Zeta so far. |

| Best episode yet, without a doubt! What amazes me is that I never really liked Amuro in the first series, but now, each and every one of his scenes was a highlight for me! Guess it shows that: 1) Amuro has definitely grown as a character 2) bringing back familiar faces from an older series to a sequel is a smart thing to do - since it radiates that nice, "cozy" vibe of "hey, I know these guys!", and 3) teenage angsty characters are rarely likable in the first place. I have to say this, as well: Amuro's kiss to Fraw was probably the most tender scene I have seen in the series yet - including the first one! In general, I'm really excited about where this is going. No all we need is some more characterization (that was missing from the first series, in my opinion), and perhaps an interesting antagonist on the Federation or the Titans' side (yes, there's Jerid... but will he remain an antagonist?) |
