| Usually by myself but every so often a comedy is nice to watch with other people, it somehow makes it....funnier But if someone wants to watch something in my collection that they're considering buying or just curious about, I'm likely to then too. Or if I think a friend is really gonna like something I have, I'll get them to watch some with me. |

| Right now mostly by myself. I've moved to an area where I don't know anyone so I don't have much of a choice. Before I moved I lived near my friends so I basically went to friend's every Saturday and Sunday and watch anime all day. |
| I prefer watching it alone because when I watch with friends, I always end up ruining really touching and tear jerker scenes with my smart-ass commentary. But if the anime sucks, it's better watching with people because then it is fun, at least. |

| Watching anime in a group makes the dialogue most of the time, which aren't funny, funny. That can be good or bad, but mostly it's bad. Every time there's a chessy line, instead of being emotionally sad or happy about it, we laugh about it. Every time there's a repetitive humorous scene done to death, we'd still laugh about it. Awkward isn't what I feel, it's just less serious, even if the show was serious. It was cool when me and a couple of guys watched the place promised in our early days since nobody made a single noise, but that is generally really rare. And only for a show that didn't have any scenes remotely laugh-worthy in an "un-serious" manner. |

| I mostly watch anime by myself. Ironically my partner loves anime, but the two of us don't watch stuff together because our tastes are different. However lately we've been watching anime together, and it's been pretty fun. |

| Myself. None of my friends are really into anime. I have friend who will have a marathon with me once in a while, but she likes watching them better when their on the actual dvd. And she doesn't like most of what I like.. I wouldn't mind having someone to watch anime with, as long as they were into it as much as me or something like that. Otherwise I feel the emotional/intense parts might be ruined. |
